Full disclosure, the author contacted me and asked if I could read and review this book. I did not get it for free, I bought it, but I just wanted that to be known.

Programming is a mysterious process to me. I am not good at programming, even though I have tried my hand at BASIC and a few other languages.

Ajit Kumar wrote "Python Programming For Newbies" in 2020, I assume. I can't find a copyright page. I have the first version, so there are some improvements to make. The book covers Python 3.8.5.

"Python Programming For Newbies" covers the same ideas and basics as most other introductory books on programming. It covers the syntax and grammar to use for the Python Interpreter to understand your program. Kumar's central focus is on finding problems to program solutions. He stresses that this will allow one to innovate.

To achieve this, Kumar cites plenty of examples. There is a lot to like about this book.

If I have one problem with the book, it is the attention to English grammar. There are grammatical errors here and there in the text, and it doesn't flow naturally. On the other hand, I find it very impressive. I don't know how much English someone learns in India.

All in all, the book is excellent for a beginner at Python. It mentions some things that I did not know.
