Dirty trick!!

This author is not selling a book…these are ongoing stories! This is not a complete book…to get to the ending you buy another tiny little “ book”?!? Not impressed at all!!! While the storyline and plot are interesting…this method of selling “ books” (aka “ chapters” ) is just WRONG!! I’m out! Sage Parker gets no more money from me!!

We continue on looking for Julia’s husband, we continue on with the mystery and intrigue. More questions arise and the suspense is building and Julia and Brody get closer. I’m hooked and cannot wait for book three!

Disappointing

So annoying that this “book” is being sold as six separate books. While the story is moderately engaging, it’s aggravating to know that I will have to buy all 6 books to find out what happened to Frank. Also, when someone tries to break into your house, or you notice a strange car watching your house, tell the detective you are working with or call 911! Sheesh!

Who’s the marketing genius that took 57 random pages and decided to call it book 2 of the series? Thankfully I got this free from Kindle unlimited. I’d be pissed if I would’ve paid for this. I think the story is decent but it’s so irritating to me that someone thought it would be a good idea to market a novel in 6 ‘books’ that I won’t be finishing.

Frank is still missing as the investigation continues. Brody and Julia are spending more time together working on the case and becoming more interested in each other. Brody knows this is wrong and yet…. As they delve deeper into who Frank is, Julia wonders if she ever knew her husband at all. They keep discovering more and more secrets that have Julia questioning everything Frank has ever told her, how she let him slowly beat her down emotionally and turn her in to a shell of her former self and their shockingly quick move to the Keys. And then there seems to be someone stalking her. Who was Frank, what did he do and will she survive this nightmare?

Julia's turmoil is unceasing, keeping her from a peaceful night's sleep are reoccurring nightmares. She finds solace with Detective Brody as they get thrown together by family mishaps, a near fatal boat accident, someone leaving mysterious notes and Detective Brody's pressing questions! Despite all this and what she's found out about Frank's other life, many wives, AND lots of money!! SHE remains calm, too calm, Detective Brody can't figure her out Guilty or Innocent?

More secrets are revealed and Julia realizes she really didn’t know her husband. She and Detective Brody are still working together. Julia receives flowers and it says they are from Frank, but who are they really from. This is a really good mystery, each book reveals more of the duplicitous life Frank led. We also get a glimpse of Detective Brody’s life too. Left with a cliffhanger anticipation grows for the next book. Love Sage Parker’s books.

Things are heating up in the next Hidden in the Keys book by Sage Parker. Julia is still distraught as her husband Frank is still missing. Plus she and Detective Brody have discovered that Frank has hidden a trail of money and gold bars. Fearing for her safety, Julia makes arrangements for the gold bars to be put in a safety deposit box. Thinking she is now safe, Julia receives a threatening note. Is it from Frank or someone else that is watching her?

The suspense has heightened and I am chomping at the bits. There is so much happening and so much confusion that I just can't wait for book three to see what is in store for Julia. What will happen with Brody and his family, and where the heck is Frank in all this turmoil and what is up with all that gold??? Enquiring minds want to know the mystery behind this awesome story. Once again the author has written a book you don't want to put down and with an intriguing storyline. She brings the characters to life and the storyline is different and good. In this book, Julia starts to find out things about her missing husband that she had no idea was happening in her 25 years of marriage. Detective Brody also has issues from his past marriage but besides wanting to solve the case and find out where Julia's husband is, he's starting to enjoy his time with Julia. As in the first book of the series, the cliffhanger is a good one. I can't wait to continue with the series.

Julia is learning more and more about her husband - the secrets the he kept.

Brody is trying to solve the case of the disappearance of Julia's husband Frank.

The more he discovers..... there are more questions than answer.

Julia finds flowers on her porch with a note - saying they are rom Frank but she
is not sure if they are or someone trying to scare her.

Thee is a nasty storm and the lights have gone out. Someone has thrown a
rock through Frank's office window. There is a note tied to the rock.

The mystery continues

Julia and Detective Brody are finding out more secrets that Frank had hidden so well. Money transferred off somewhere, gold bars found and someone is sending her flowers with Franks name. Julia and Brody are starting to feel comfortable and trusting in each other and he may be the only one to keep her standing when this is all over. Love the characters and the locale. The storyline is addictive and can not wait for the next section of the story.

The mystery deepens
Franks’ disappearance continues to have more dangerous implications for Julia, and she realizes that she really didn’t know anything about what he was really doing. Thank goodness for Detective Brody’s presence and assistance in her life to not only keep her safe but also as moral support. How many people are watching what they are doing and what are their motives?

A series you can't put down and wish could go on forever. The story flows smoothly from page to page and book to book. The characters are realistic, easy to get to know and easy to relate to. No spoilers with this review, just my advice to not pass this series by.

You'll want to read these in order as each book is a segment in the over all story.

This book starts with mystery and intrigue in the first paragraph. Frank is still missing, and Julia and Brody are still going through things in his office to see if they can find any clues for why he is missing. This is another great series by Sage.

Now Frank is still missing & nobody know what is going on. Some think that Julia killed him. Julia has no idea what is going on because he always kept her in the dark. Reading Book 2, I found myself feeling like Julia would feel - frightened & threatened. Not knowing what was really happening with her missing husband and his “dealings”, plus her feelings of a sense of “safety” provided by the detective, fears for herself are making her unsure of herself.

Mystery keeps you hooked as in book 1. Just where has frank gone and with whom? What has Julia found out about him that is suspicious. Just what do his daughters know that they aren't willing to reveal. Is she going to finally going to get together with that husky strong cop on her case?

I like a good mystery and this has got it . The more Brody and Julia dig into Frank's life Julia's safety becomes an issue . Brody and Julia are starting to have feelings for one another and I feel a romance in the making ... my only negative talk is its to short
