This beachside mystery romance is full of secrets, truths and unforeseen love that will keep you curious and wanting more. If women's fiction and clean romance are your thing, this series is a must-read for you! This is Part 3 of 6 in the Longboat Keys Series.
This series is getting better and more mysterious with each book that I read. Julia Masterson is searching for her husband but more questions are being raised instead of finding answers. Now Julia and Detective Brody Barker must go to Ohio to learn some information from Frank’s lawyer. Just what is he going to tell them? Only time will tell and hopefully we will find out the mystery into Frank’s disappearance although at the moment it seems likely that this mystery will only deepen. Cannot wait for the next book.

I thought this author would know a little more about the Florida Keys since she lives not that far away. However, she speaks about a house "on the cliffs." I'm pretty sure there are no cliffs on any of Florida's Key Islands. Aren't they all made of sand or coral.
Ahh the saga continues with the author, Sage Parker, giving out a few clues as to what happened to Julia's husband. These books are not even Novela. They are just a few chapter to lead the reader to need to read more.
I can't believe I got sucked into a series of 60 page "books". It is a mini series not a complete book. After reading the third one, I don't really care if they find Frank. He isn't worth finding and neither is the story.
If you like "location fiction" you will be disappointed. I was attracted to this series because I thought I would learn a little about the Keys. For all I knew, they could have been in a cardboard box. No imagery at all. Why do I continue? It is a mystery so I have to see what happened.
As the case of Julia’s missing husband, Frank, continues with no new leads; Julia and Detective Brody Barker decide to again contact Frank’s attorney in the hope that he may have some new information regarding Frank. To their surprise the attorney indicates he may have some useful information, but he will not discuss it over the phone. He will only discuss it in person. Meaning, Julia and Detective Brody must travel to Ohio. Meanwhile, a very nosy reporter with a history with Detective Brody is hot on writing an article about Frank’s disappearance adding some of her trademark sensationalism to portray Julia not as a victim, but perhaps a black widow. All of this can’t be good for Julia. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author and Booksprout. The review and comments are my honest opinion. 4.5 Stars
The sands of Longboat Key are steeped in the perplexing case of Frank’s disappearance, leaving Julia and Detective Brody lost in a sea of questions. Is Frank just out of reach, or has he vanished into the ether? As they navigate the personal and professional maze, a glint of hope surfaces with a summons to Miami by Frank’s lawyer and a retired cop’s potential sighting. As their alliance solidifies against the riddles ahead, anticipation mounts: could the next volume bring them a step closer to unveiling Frank’s fate? Stay tuned as the mystery entwines tighter with each revelation.
Julia deals with a rock being thrown through a window and the usual realistic nightmare happening every night. Detective Brody is coming up with great ideas for clues to the whereabouts of Frank. Journalist Krystle loves to sensationalize a story and she has written one about Julia, without actually talking with her or Brody. The characters and storyline are well written, with plenty of intricate clues and situations that bring up more questions. Love how Julia and Brody have started to open up to each other. Can not wait to see what the lawyer in Ohio has to say in person.

Frank is still missing and things just keep getting more mysterious. Brody and Julia are growing closer. As more and more questions are unanswered, they contact Frank’s attorney. He won’t speak over the phone so they prepare to go see him in person. Then they are contacted by an unscrupulous sensational reporter who is clearly doesn’t want to help, but only to sensationalize his disappearance by writing a headline that will clearly put Julia at risk. She is what everyone hates about journalism. She isn’t in it for the real research, but for shock value. Not a decent human and clearly going to make things worse. So as they prepare to go see the attorney we are still left wondering who Frank is, where is he, why did he disappear and who was he with when did.
The mystery deepens We still aren’t sure if Julia’s husband is alive or dead. Did he simply disappear on his own to avoid a difficult situation? In the meantime she and Brody have become closer as he is certain she had nothing to do with his disappearance. Jealousy has reared its ugly head in the person of Krystle; the reporter that it appears has been trying to gain Brody’s interest to no avail. The last sentence shows what a b..ch she is. Someone threw a rock with a note through Julia’s window. Brody asks her to look around and see if something is missing or out of place. She finds a gun case in the nightstand. Frank’s lawyer asks them to fly to Ohio because he might have some information. More secrets revealed but no answers to Julia’s questions. This is such a good mystery series, Sage Parker keeps you guessing in each book. If you haven’t read her books, I suggest you read this series. You won’t be disappointed.
I was given this advanced copy for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.
I just finished reading Hidden in the Keys book 1 and I cannot wait until the next one! This was one of the biggest cliffhangers I’ve ever read. I want more...I certainly didn’t want the book to end. The characters were so well written and the storyline was great. Once you start the book you don’t want to put it down. There is so much mystery and what the hecks going on that you want more than what the author left you with. I cannot wait until the next book in the series.

Every time I finish one of the books in this series, I am left craving more or yelling out loud....what just happened!!! Sage has a great thing going here and knows how to snare her readers to keep them wanting more. I continue to wonder where is Frank and why is Julia being targeted??? Will Brody figure out the truth and stop doubting Julia's involvement? Love this series so far and I look forward to the next book. I received this book for free as an ARC reader and my opinion and review is my own.

Wow! This is another suspense filled installment. What will Julie find out this time? The more I'm learning about Frank, the less I like him. I can't wait for the next installment maybe it will change how I feel about him. I received an ARC copy of this book and was not required to write a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

A bit of action, some adventure, add in some suspense coupled with romance and you have a story you can't stop reading. It's well written and a great continuation to the story collection. The characters are strong, well developed and you enjoy getting to know them. A great series to add to your summer reading list.

I don’t normally read serial instalments of books but this author knows how to write them to hold attention. The way this story is going I’d devour it in one sitting as a whole. The characters keep getting more depth and the plot/storyline is getting more and more intriguing. Is the husband dead or alive? Did he disappear voluntarily? Is he watching?

The mystery continues…Frank is still missing, is he dead or alive? Julia & Brody are growing closer as they try to figure out the secrets of Frank’s life. Brody has helped Julia realize that her marriage isn’t a normal marriage. Now a nosy reporter is snooping around for a story and trying to get back together with Brody.

The continued story of Julia is amazing. Sage Parker holds your attention from the beginning of book one. She has not disappointed in this book either. Follow Julia on her journey to find her husband. It’s an enjoyable read with all its twists.

This book searching for the missing husband is getting exciting and scary. Someone is stalking Julia they threw a rock with a message on it. Now she has this reporter making her to look so bad. Brody and Julia are in Ohio to find out more about her missing husband's life. More to find out in the next book.
The uncovering of Frank's adventures and mysterious business dealings prior to his disappearance is getting more and more complicated. With few clues to go on, his wife Julie and Detective Brodie Barker have arranged to meet with his lawyer back in Ohio to see what light he can shed on this mystery man.
This book kind of dragged in the middle. But nothing really changed. Krystle seems very much like a hater. I'm excited to see how this goes. I'm not going to lie, if Julia is a black widow she is one crafty thing. But she seems genuinely sweet and innocent. Brody on the other hand... hurry up and make a move on the girl lol.

Krystal is really starting to get on my nerves.. Brody clearly don’t want her and she continues to pretty much stalk him. Now she will do nothing to get her way but at the cost of Julia. She don’t care and don’t want anyone with Brody. Was it frank who was seen trying to rent a boat? Who was in the car with him if it was him?? So many questions and a deep hate for Krystal
The mystery continues. Where is Frank? Just when you think you are going to get answers everything goes cold again. Will Julia and Brody find Frank or will their hearts give in to each other. Another great mystery read. Can’t wait to see what is going on
The search for Frank continues. I hope he is discovered soon, dead or alive. His wife (wives?) can go on with their lives when the secrets are revealed. I received a free ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
