This is another fab addition to this mystery! We meet the other women in Julia’s husbands life and boy let’s just say they are vile, nasty, vindictive women! Wowzers!! We also discover more secrets and more families he seems to be looking after. There’s more shady and dodgy dealings going on and Julia is being tailed? OMG next episode please!

Julia is such a peculiar character. She is so trustworthy and although she is discovering how many secrets her husband, Frank has, she is still thinking of excuses for his behavior. I am looking forward to answers to the following questions: Where is Frank and what happened to him? What is up with his daughters and their ugliness towards Julia and who is the man that approached her at the bar??? Why would he keep so many secrets from Julia and put her thro0ugh so much turmoil? So many questions unanswered and so many twisted revelations!! I love it and I hope book 5 continues to answer some of the questions still lingering surrounding all the craziness going on in the story. I am so excited for the next book in this series. Sage Parker does not disappoint. I received this book for free as an ARC reader and my reviews are my own.

The last book I read in the series #3 left me hanging. It was such a cliffhanger and this one too. The author knows to keep you hanging. We are still following the storyline of Julia and her missing husband. She and decetivide Brody Barker are on the mission to find her husband. They fly up to speak with Frank’s lawyer and they find out many secrets that have been hidden for a long time. But everytime they learn something more about Frank it doesn’t help them to find him. When they met with Frank’s two daughters and their mother, there was a lot of hate, jealousy and anger. Even that didn’t get them any close to Frank. Once again, the author leaves you with a cliffhanger and wanting to read the next book to find out what has happened to Frank.

Brody and Julia travel to meet with Franks lawyer and the other women in his life. These are nasty anger filled women who are openly hostile and blame Franks disappearance and their circumstances on Julia, all while telling her that she has never been anything other than a means to an end for Frank and the money he feels he is entitled to. Not sure, but it seems that Frank is a sociopath, was clearly involved in terrible and probably illegal things, had multiple other women and children on the side and who knows what else. Someone is trailing Julia and clearly wants information that she has and will do anything to stop her. None of this is good and still with no insight we are still left wondering where Frank is, what nefarious things is he hiding and will Julia survive the betrayal?

Frank is still missing in book 4. Brody and Julia fly to Ohio to meet Frank and Julia’s lawyer and to visit Frank’s daughters and their mother. The lawyer confirmed that Frank was paying for multiple families and Julia learned that not only did Franks have 2 daughters but a son too! Julia also learned that Frank married her only to pacify his parents and for the fact he could manipulate her. They learned that Frank is very secretive about his business transactions and Brody knows they must be shady. A few more surprises and Julia is drained physically as well as emotionally by the trip. Who is following Julia and why do they want to kidnap her?

Danger lurks for Julia
After meeting with her missing husband’s ex-wife and daughters about his disappearance, she and Brody stop in the bar of the hotel where they are staying. They really didn’t find out anything really vital from his family; however, they did learn that secrets had always been a part of her missing husband’s life.
Who’s the mystery man in the last chapter and why is he so vitally interested in Julia?

Another great book by Sage Parker. As we delve deeper in to this story the mystery of Frank’s disappearance and his past is becoming more and more intriguing. In this book Julia and Brody head to speak to Frank’s “wife” Jane and their two daughters and that only brings more questions than answers. Julia encounters a stranger who is an unsavoury character and can only hope that we find out some truths in the next book.

Julia and Brody fly up north to meet with Frank’s lawyer first. More secrets are revealed that shock Julia. Then they meet Frank’s daughters and their mother. They too have secrets to tell. Julia wonders if she ever knew Frank. This was very emotional for Julia as she learn so many new things about her husband. Brody concentrates on new leads to follow. Loved this book and can’t wait to see what they find out in the end. Sage Parker has a way with telling a story that just lures you in.

Another great segment in the series. If you haven't read the previous books, you'll want/need to read them prior to reading this one. Each book is a segment in the story and each book picks up where the previous one left off.

The story captures your attention and holds your attention from the start. The characters are engaging, easy to get to know and realistic. They feel like people you've known for years long before you reach the last page.

But in the shadows unaware to them are two men lurking & following their every step. Waiting for the perfect time to strike....One man fails, the other is about to make his move!! Julia and Brody go to Ohio to talk to the lawyer and find out about two families Frank had. These women blame her for his disappearance and now someone else is following her, wanting answers. The storyline now has more questions than answers and the world that Frank had is looking more and more illegal. The characters are strong and determined to find out the facts of the mess. Loved how Brody gave Julia hope and support. Can not wait for the next book and hope it answers some of these questions.

the writing is fun to read, well done, but this was made into a series, to stretch it out, into several "books." it should have been one book. also, as a floridian who lives near and plays on longboat key, it is NOT in "the keys." longboat key is a large community in sarasota, florida, about 8 hours? from the actual keys.
so my ocd mind goes a little haywire reading this misnomer. but again, if you can suffer through reading 6 separate books, it has a good story, albeit a little pumped up to increase the word count and length.

Returning to Ohio is not what Julia expected. She was not sure what to expect about her missing husband, Frank but she did not expect to be mugged, nor to learn that Frank had been supporting more women than the mother of his daughters. There are no answers, just more questions. And now a stranger is following Julia. Who is this stranger and what does he want?

I am getting more and more unhappy about this idea of serialization. It is really a darn nuisance. I never liked it back in Victorian times and I still don't. (just sort of kidding)

But I really do hate having to stop in the middle of a book and go to Amazon for the next one in the series. It is just stupid in my mind and, no matter how much I like this writer, I will not be reading anything more from her if it is written in this style

The mystery continues. Where is Frank? After traveling back to Ohio and meeting with his ex wife and daughters, they are still no closer in finding out. Maybe the mysterious guy in the bar could have answers. Can’t wait to read the next book. We are anxious to get some answers. Another great read that will have you wondering. Hidden in the Keys from Sage Parker is the fourth book of the Longboat Keys Series. It is a very well written exciting book. With a story that keeps you captivated until the end. More and more secrets are revealed and you keep wondering what else is being discovered and why. A very nice book to read

They also arranged to meet with Jane and her daughters, Cynthia and Mary.

More information was gained. Julia and Brody are heading back to Florida
in the morning.

While at the hotel, Julie is confronted with a stranger. The plot is thickening.

The characters in this book continue to develop and you start to form your idea of who you like and don’t like. Looks like a new character is being formed on the dark side. Still can’t locate Frank! Julia won’t give up until he is found. Can’t wait for the next one.

disappointing divisions of what is really one book into several

This is”book” 4 but again only 60+ pages. It’s more like several novellas. The storyline is good — I’d give it 4 stars if it wasn’t divided as it is and if proofread better. There are words used incorrectly (for example, “excepted” money instead of accepted and ‘s used for plural).

Ok, April is onto something.with Alex. Now, I am wondering if something happened to Molly. Alex helps women with domestic or issues with ex’s. I’m still skeptical of Mark. What is his real motivation? I am hanging on by a nail waiting to find out. I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
