I married my best friend, the love of my life, we have two beautiful daughters, and I love serving my country. On my spare time, I love scribbling and making my words come to life. I love writing romance stories about couples that go through trials and come out stronger. Love is never easy, but it's worth all the hard work. Whew! What a ride! This couple went through it. Book 2 had a nail biting cliffhanger ... Book 3 picks up where that story left off. I wasn't pleased with the misunderstandings and the choices and the involvement and non-involvement of other people. It was their journey and it had to happen to get to the other without doubts--to know that they were truly meant to be.
I can’t remember the last time I stayed up all night cause I couldn’t put a book down or in this case 3 books. I read all 3 back to back and was gripped from the start. I heard Ancelli was a good author but this book honestly blew me away. It had so many emotions and the writing was so eloquent. The characters were easy to love and hate and there are quite a few spin offs and a couple of unanswered questions which I don’t know if they’re answered in other books or if a 4th book is in the works. The thing I loved most about this book is that Morgan and Kayliah hit rock bottom multiple times but still got up and still believed in love and happiness. They didn’t give up on life and that was so magical. It’s only the second book that made me cry and is definitely the best book/s I’ve read this year 10 ⭐️ read
I felt this story could have been told within 2 books. By the time I got to book 3 my love for Morgan and kaliyah was fading. How can 2 people who claim to love each other make so many mistakes over 2 decades? It became annoying and less believable. Morgan travelling all that way to spend time with kaliyah at an expensive hotel only to run away again before confronting the issue. Who does that? And don’t get me started on all the other characters! Too many that I struggled to keep up.
It took a lot of corrected missteps and miscommunication to get to Morgan and Kali's happy ending. Kali nearly sabotaged her own happiness many times. I shed quite a few tears reading this story. It was emotional and suspenseful. Would like to see a novella to clear up Deandra's situation and the cryptic job offer Morgan received from his cousin Justin. A good read.
Think of any possible traumatic event, and it's likely to be found in this series of books. This author did not want her characters to know peace.
I mean damn!!!!! It was like one thing after another!!!! I also felt like this did not need to be a three part series AT ALL. Two would have been just fine but these characters faced roadblock after roadblock in their friendship & hardly ever spent any time as a real couple. These unnecessary roadblocks really dragged out the series.
Ancelli stories I will admit they are so good the I will re-read them over and over. The stories so relatable and so good. When I can’t find a good book to buy and relax to I got to my collection and pick out a lot of Ancelli stories to read over. This one I have read more then twice. I’m very happy to relay this message, when you find a great author you’ll re-read what they have all the time.
Oh my how I enjoyed this trilogy. I wasn't crying on certain parts, I was chopping onions and stuff. The emotions this book out me through. A lot of touchy subjects that some may not want to read about but love won in the end. Colton was the best turn around of this book. He came full circle. I loved everything about this book!
This was a very nice conclusion for the book series. There was violence, love, a light shed on racism, a hidden plot point, forgiveness, etc. There was so much happening but it all worked well together. I am so happy for Kaliyah and Morgan as there love has endured so many obstacles. P.S. It is just an afterthought but I though the epilogue added no real value.
Kali and Morgan endured too much in their young life! They found each other and bonded through their rough childhoods! The love they had for each saw them through tough times. Sometimes you have to let go of the past to see your future! This book series took you through all the emotions and ended with love never ending!
I loved these three books sharing this amazing tail. Secrets have a way of coming out with devastating consequences. It's always good to see how love can overcome.
This was a great ending to an awesome series. I highly recommend this read, the ending is worth everything! I'm not giving anything away, just one click it now.
