Những Câu Hỏi Vô Hình

Rate this book

Kudos! Saya sangat menantikan buku selanjutnya 😍😍😍

I really love this book!

Eh, nongol. Ya udah, iseng aja baca. Mayan buat nambahin buku di reading challenge...

Banyak momen, "Keknya gak gitu dah?", "Ih, masa sih?", "Sok tau, ah!"

Name an experience that is experienced by every human being

"I got fake people showing fake love to me."

"Who hurt you, babe?" Keknya hidup suram amat.

Gw jadi merasa tertipu. Haha...

Jadi, invisible questions-nya apaan dah? Keknya gw masih gagal paham.

Oh iye, ngeliat bahasanya yang sopistikeitid keknya buku ini emang bukan buat hajat hidup orang banyak, ye...

Udah, segitu aja. Ngapa dah bahasa gw jd rada betawi-betawi gini? 😥

Lala Bohang
The Book of Invisible Questions
Gramedia Pustaka Utama
152 pages
5.9

Slightly meatier than its predecessor, Lala Bohang's The Book of Invisible Questions gives much more substance, though the experiences are still mundane and not relatable enough for some demographic. The best part of the book, though, is the first page, but turns out that is out of a movie script.

this book feels like my bestfriend who has known me for a very long time and understand what's inside my mind. i could've finished this book in one day but the part about father and childhood left me in speechless last night that i wasn't able to continue to read it until just now. this book for me is a mixed between a poem, a short story, and a diary. love!

The statement which make me thinking harder:

I read this book in English. You can access it in Gramedia Digital apps.

Being in your 20s is hard. Some of your friends are married, some of them are sucessful in career, and sometimes you feel of missing out on every trend evolve around us.

For you who cannot describe your feeling well, or maybe want to have contemplation time, I recommend you to read this book. The illustration is superb.

3,8 stars actually..
This Book full of all Lala Bohang's questions of her live...her love live, her relationship with family, and her self

When I was read this... the thought of "why she is care so much about those things which is made her feel sad or struggle or down?" Why she can't just laugh on them and let them disappeared like nothing happened?"

But I also thought..this Book is a result of her journey to make a deal with all of those things...it's her process of life to make her stand until now...

Second book of Lala Bohang that I read! Always love the illustrations🤩

“What is a revolutionary act?
Be ambitiously lazy.

Escape from your today's tasks. Sometimes you need to unplug yourself from everything to function again. Your brain screams for a break. Your heart beg for fresh air. Your eyes long for blue sky. But you shut them down with work, boundaries, and norm. Live a little for once in a while.”

FIRST OF ALL, I WANNA SAY TO LALA BOHANG!

Jikalau, The Book of Forbidden Feelings berisi tentang black hole dalam kehidupan manusia dengan segala angst, anxieties ataupun depression.

"When life keep pushing you to be hard, harsh, and numb. Take a break from life. Feel yourself. Feel your body. Feel your breath. If you're lucky, you will be back to yourself again after a while. And not, you're not going to be as soft as before. But it's okay. You're harder because you have learned a lot, not because you want to cause pain."

Sebagian besar isinya membicarakan perihal EKSISTENSI.

Jika dibandingkan dengan The Book of Forbidden Feelings, buku ini terasa lebih penuh. Masih terasa aura depresifnya, tetapi isinya jujur dan penuh kontemplasi.

Banyak bagian yang saya suka, di antaranya:

What is letting go?
Imagine yourself
taking off your
heavy backpack
after a long day.
That's what letting go
is about. (Hal. 66)

Human: a statue of memories. (Hal. 77)

Everybody's normal until you get
to know them better.
Everything's fine on the outside.
Everyone's fine on the surface.
And then you get to know them
layer by layer. (Hal. 102)

Why
is
the
thing
you
want
to
completely
forget
is always
the
most
unforgettable
one
?
(Hal. 137)

We're just human. It's okay to not be okay all the time.

The book of target readers predominantly whom using Apple's invisible questions.

....

It is darn frikkin right that book comes to you, and you just need to read it in a perfect time. I gave only one star when first reading this. But adding three (!!!!) more stars on second read exactly a year later.

At my current state, I ignored Lala Bohang's strange connection with Apple and Unhealthy parents-kids relationship. Because this is more about me, questioning said and unsaid questions as in the questions are the answers

Here is my fav poem:
When you feel hopeless, begin to zoom out everything.

Everything will start to appear as a small dot.

Then nothing will seem worthy enough to bother you because they all look the same.

Zooming out will wipe away all of your uneasy thoughts.

When you’re aware and you realize everything is nothing more than just a dot, you won’t be easily triggered anymore.

The more you zoom out, the smaller they get, the lighter they become.

Nothing is special.

Nothing is worthy.

Save this in your head.

Zoom out.

Zoom out.

Zoom out.

Zoom out.

Better than the first book, but still "meh." to me.

Tapi masih ga nangkep judulnya dimana bagian "invisible question" nya....
