Beautifully written and illustrated book about sharing
The author does it again! This is the third Mikaela Wilson book I have read and she has done a great job at teaching children an important lesson in a fun way! Andre is excited his best friend Bryce is coming over and he takes out all the toys he wants to play with him. But, he hides his favorite toy, an airplane, at the bottom of the toy chest so Bryce can’t play with it. Andre soon learns an important lesson on sharing thanks to his Mom. Loved it! Sweet, simple, easy to read with beautiful bright illustrations.
We love all of this authors work. This story exemplifies what us moms want to instill in our children at an early age. Sharing is hard for children to understand. The use of a “sharing timer” works wonders for children to understand this concept and also helps with turn-taking strategies too. The imagination of play is always a consistent piece of writing that we continue to enjoy in her collection. The illustrations are just gorgeous too. Highly recommend!
This wonderful book will help children learn how sharing can be FUN! Not only does the book offer an interesting and timeless storyline to hold young readers’ interest, but the pictures bring the story to life! I look forward to sharing this book with my young grandchildren.
I have a brown boy and I really love this series. The illustrations are very nice and the messages are always nicely written. In this book the sharing timer is nice way to help families with teaching their toddlers to share.
I'm really enjoying reading these stories fir my little one and he seems to be really enjoying them. I think the graphics and the colors are so well thought out and executed. They're vibrant and appealing to tiny tots
Excellent book for young children to learn, how to share. I gladly would recommend this book for parents, grandparents to share with the children in their families!
This was a great read I did with my kiddos. I really loved the sharing timer. My youngest said he was André what made it funny is he acts like him when he was impatiently waiting for the timer to go off.
