I'd have to say that this book is very half-assed. I have learned a lot and I like how it treats the reader as if said reader is intelligent. However, there are numerous occasions where they do not fully explain how to complete a project or fix a problem. ie, page 124 - "Since this page will not be published to the Internet, we will ignore them entirely." Uh, but how do I fix the wrap-around text problem in IE 6, 7 and 8?
This is good as an initial starting book but 'Sam's Learn Dreamweaver CS4 in 24 hours' and 'CSS: The Missing Link' should also be added to your learning library. Thanks to this book I actually want to learn straight forward PHP and CSS coding. 4 stars because it is definitely time consuming and not for everyone.
