3.5🌟 Perfect size, lovely illustrations and lots of facts about summer for children to learn. It's not a riveting read for adults and it's not so good for "reading through" as a story. But, it's fun to dip into and enjoy the beautiful and colorful drawings. A great little gift book for anyone who loves nature, but especially for the younger crowd.
I absolutely love these books, full of all kinds of wonderous information. Caveat: UK based! So for Europeans, it's mostly relevant. For North Americans - only if you're planning on holidaying in the British Isles. ;)
