Sandip Singh's Insecure Nahush is an interesting and poignant look at a man who has decided not to let fate call the shots in his life. We follow Nahush's journey over the course of the book. Nahush lives a fairly secluded life due to his lack of social graces and crippling self esteem. The job he holds at the private insurance company is dissatisfying for him. Additionally, his family is no comfort to him. Nahush has a constant feeling of insecurity about his own life. Obviously, he didn't plan on any of this stuff to happen but he starts questioning how he makes decisions. Through the story, we discover more about Nahush's career, family, and personal life.

Insecure Nahush deals with depression and insecurity, family issues, social pressures and a guy's attempt to find the strength to keep himself together and his life in tact. It’s about living life and finding the will to continue when everything around you makes you just want to curl up and hide from the world. It is also about acceptance, growth and self actualization. It’s about finding something that helps define who you are as a person.

Through this book, Sandip Singh tells an important, thought-provoking and uplifting story of acceptance. The story tackles about delicate issues that are common in this highly competitive time, I guess this book rather speaks about the harsh reality that is going on in the society nowadays. It's an eye-opener and it clearly represents the struggle every person undergoes when he or she is feeling insecure about their life.

Insecure Nahush is a poignant, character driven story filled with humor and heartfelt moments that kept me turning the pages until I reluctantly stumbled upon the conclusion. This book is a fantastic character study. The journey with Nahush through the past and present is bizarre at times, thought-provoking at others. But, I found it to be engaging no matter what. And, while it is mainly about Nahush, there are a few other interesting characters met along the way as well. They are all fleshed-out and realistic, with strong personalities that jump off the page and make you feel like you actually know them. The characters are the cog in the wheel that make this story turn, urging the reader to read forward, forming bonds and relationships with fictional characters simply because they feel so real, tangible, and alive.

Nahush’s story is one that is impossible to put down. It is the type of book that you never knew you needed to read until you read it. Sandip Singh manages to capture the true emotional upheaval of an insecure person, their relationships, worries, fears, and truths in a way that I have never seen before. Nahush’s inner turmoil is so believable that you can’t help but feel for him. Insecure Nahush is a book for everyone. It transcends all ages, genders, stereotypes, and labels. It is not mystery or action filled, but it is filled with things that happen to someone everyday but people fail to realize what they are feeling. Sandip Singh strikes truth in this amazing novel. Highly recommended.

As it has been so very rightly said, we must strive to live our life for our own self and not to please the expectations, we must be able to conquer the social pressure, because if not, then it will conquer us.

‘Insecure Nahush’ by author Sandip Singh is a captivating journey of our main protagonist Nahush, who feels like he is not living his life to the fullest and deep inside, feels like there is something amiss.

One of the main reason for this insecurity of Nahush is because he is living someone else's life, and has allowed the other people to influence or determine his choices, all the while trying to please their expectations.

Being under the family and social pressure is deceiving—we all become prey without noticing it. Similarly, when Nahush realizes that he has lost control of his life, he ends up envying all the things that could have or would have been, and decides to take matter in his own hands.

Stories and novels that involve family drama are fairly common, however what makes this book unique from the rest of them is the way that the author has handled intricate relationships with sensitivity and insight, which is bound to make the readers keep coming back, mining for the nuance.

This book delves into the complicated dynamics between traditional joint family, as well as the way relationship between Nahush and his mother grow over time, and it was such enthralling to read about how, even at times, when our lead was frustrated with the way his family acted, he never crossed the line of being disrespectful.

I loved the portrayal of a beautiful family, especially since some of the incidences are what which most of the readers can relate with, hence I am going to give this book FIVE NAHUSH STARS ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Insecure Nahush by Sandip Singh mainly focuses on finding a bride for Nahush. Nahush, the protagonist, is the type of person who would never say a word against his parents. The struggles of how an Indian family finds a partner for their son was so well portrayed in this book.

When he saw a girl, Pooja, he immediately started falling in love with her. But her mother rejected Pooja because she was "black". I completely understand the author portrayed Nahush's mother as a person who wants ONLY a fair girl for his son. When his mother said Pooja was a "black girl" he just did nothing and convinced himself & his friends that Pooja is NOT THAT BLACK which is intolerable. Why can't she accept her for who she is, if he truly loves her?

He stood up for her only once, even in that argument her mother won and he give up on her. His character hasn't developed till the very end of the book. I liked the second half of the book where Nahush's struggle in accepting a girl chosen by his parents was well explained.

It's just that the story was good but the protagonist was unlikable. I felt like it would have been more realistic if his work life was also given equal importance. Overall it was a not a bad read.

As the title suggests this book is a self help guide to navigate through the insecurities in our lives. The protagonist of the story is Nahush who is torn between the dilemma of choosing the right girl for him. His family is no place of comfort to him neither does he has a soul satisfying job. He is riped in own thoughts and the shredded pieces of his mind is extremely relatable to how all of us feel at some point of our life.
Insecurity is not a choice but conquering it is. How we immerse ourselve in the shell of constant self doubt and treat ourselves to be less worthy is nothing less than poison consumption.
This book is very inspiring and i bet once you reach the last page of the book, you will be able to triumphs the tiniest bubble of self doubt.

"With all her gestures, he arrived at the conclusion that, this girl won't be rejecting him. No one ever looked at him in such a way, as she was looking at him."

INSECURE NAHUSH by Sandip Singh is a book walking into the realm of today, with the story of many young people who aspire to live a life of their own choices but end up being someone else. Making decisions for one's own life is the basic thing a human ever asks for, but even that is denied to many of us.

I liked the story, though it's quite a big book. The main protagonist is Nahush, a young boy who somehow feels incomplete in life, and wants to do things that make him happy, not just his family. Slowly and gradually the author leads us deep into his character and helps us understand that is someone who can be found somewhere around us. He has his own flaws, understanding like most of the men around us, and is more likely to be the most unlikely favourite character. He is seen doubting himself, his decisions keep changing and never takes a stand for himself until the second half of the novel.

Other characters are also interesting and bring a lot of themes like stereotyping, marriage, relationships to the forefront. The story ends on a not many of us liked including me. The writing is lucid, simple and predictable at times.

Recommended to anyone who loves reading light fiction novels.

This book, 'Insecure Nahush' is one of the most absorbing long popular fictions ever written. The story is sophisticated, simple yet intriguing and extraordinary tale of a typical family drama, friendship, rejections, misunderstandings, and a whole lot of badlem which invariably leaves no scope for the readers to escape once they are into the story.

The story begins like an entertaining TV serial middle-class-joint-family-drama. The character of Nahush, an accountant in a private insurance company, the protagonist and the central figure of the story, depicts the real and very apt picture of a middle class boy who goes through a whole lot of ups and downs in his life.

The dawn of his life journey which starts with a upsc dream ended up with lost tastes and interests in the same amidst the nuisance of him getting married. Nahush, Rahul and Aakash, three friends and the rest of the Delhi will get you embarked on a rollercoaster ride of challenges faced by a middle class guy in his daily life.

One of the several exhilarating themes of this book which is a 'Circus of Matchmaking'
will keep the readers hooked throughout the story. Amidst Nahush after qualifications but family after beauty of bride, will Nahush be able to find his match ?

Places, timings, setting of the story is pitch perfect as the author has invariably mastered this art of engaging storytelling. The book has rightly shown - easy reading is a hard writing. The story is so long, still interesting and captivating, and hardly messy at any point.

All the more, there are many a captivating twists and layers in the story. A bag of spicy events, moments, and elements in this book make this piece a paragon of its kind. The story is full of inside and outside house drama, disappointments and tragic turns and twists in the life equations of the characters. Though the story is bit slow-paced but it's no less riveting and will keep you hooked and excited to know what actually happens further in the lives of these characters.

The language used in this book is very easy to read and understand and at the same time, the simplicity in the language and directness in the narration of the story is one of the specialities of this book. It's quite rare and commendable that an author is so successfull in keeping it's readers hooked till the very end inspite of such a long novel-writing. I personally loved the storytelling and the book with such an aesthetic cover and a title. A must read for all the book worms!

🙂 Cover of the book can be better. It's looks simple not appealing too.
🙂 Writing style of the book is good. Author nicely recreated the life of a man who wanted to achieve more in life couldn't able to do that due to some reasons. The mindset, the frustrated soul, the unhappy heart everything written in the book in a very engaging & relatable manner.
🙂 Language used in the book is quite good. It's connecting & easily understandable. The most important thing is author nicely used his vocabulary skills in the book to make it a very precise but effective read.
🙂 Characterization of the book is top notch. Author just kept it as simple as it could be but it's impact is something that can't be expressed in words in the book.
🙂 Pace of the book is good too. It's not very slow nor very fast. It's just perfectly synchronised the emotions with reader's heart in the book.

a story of Nahush who dreams to have a good life in a good city. Staying in a joint family is a task and he wishes to escape that before he gets married.

The time has come and proposals came for Nahush, it was time for him to meet and choose a life partner. Will that process be that easy? With a stubborn mother who cares about society? The sister-in-law who doesn't help much? Is Nahush ready to get married? Will his choice matter?

Well, it's a book filled with family drama and of course Nahush's hunt for a life partner. Nahush seized an opportunity and got a job in Mumbai, away from the family, he decided to start a new life. On this journey, he meets many people.

The story starts on a good note, Nahush a Hardworking professional strives to bring the balance in his family. Crisply narrated, it's a story with a simple and engaging plot.

The author gives us a glimpse of a traditional Indian family, for whom society matters the most than the child. I liked Nahush's character and his thoughts. I liked how he at least stood for himself and his dreams and tried to keep his point of view in front of his family.

With simple language and an engrossing writing style, it's a story based on the themes of relationships, family love, expectations, rejections and friendship. It's a bit slow-paced story with unnecessary descriptions. I wish if the author could have cut it short.

With the struggling work life in Mumbai and trying to balance the family expectations, I felt pity for Nahush. The characters are good and relatable.

Another thing that I liked in this book is the author added rejections for both. For a girl as well as a boy and how they took it. Nahush's personality was good, he respected his family wishes and kept them first. Wish he had that courage to confide his feelings.

Overall its a good, light read.

Story is about a guy who is not sure about his future, keeps thinking about his pasts and that's why his present is a mess. Kind of like a half of guys in this world he is insecure about his capabilities and he is allowed to that. There comes a time in our life when we have to take the decision for ourselves and God if there is one, gives us that one chance to prove ourselves. The only thing we can do is make the most of it. But will the protagonist be abel to do it?

Distressed with his job "Nahush" has a constant insecurity about his own life. He constantly keep comparing his own life with other which we all do at some point in our life, but in his case it's just too much. But what he does next makes this story intresting. He takes the matters in his own hands and he decides to face it no matter what. The way this story progresses is powerful and inspirational.

Many people while reading this one book will feel connected with this character who have inferiority complex in them. This story is like a hope that will clear all your doubts and have an important massage at the end. Every one has their own life , the problems are different but the feeling is same. Apart from that, the story has a slow starts which keeps building up and make us familiar with characters. The language of the book is simple and intriguing.

This book takes us on a journey that is very familiar to all. Each individual has been through the same phase at some point in their life, had same self doubts, and has acted foolishly at times. The story is about Nahush, and I really liked his character and his thoughts. I liked how he didn't give up and stood for himself and his dreams, trying to persuade his family till the end.

It's a story based on the theme of relationships, family love, expectations, rejections, and friendship, with simple language and an engrossing writing style.
An interesting part is that this story takes us on and off between Delhi Metro and Mumbai Local ride.

The feelings of Nahush are beautifully portrayed, which we, as humans, often feel, and that makes it a relatable read, as we get that connect with the characters. The struggles of how an Indian family finds a partner for their son were so well portrayed in this book.
It is quite practical, and readers will surely get the feel of a journey that is unwinding slowly with each new chapter, and there is always something to look forward to.

At times, I found it a bit slow-paced with uncalled for descriptions. I wish the author could have cut it short. But, overall it's an enjoyable read.

Insecure Nahush : Sometimes Mature & Sometimes Foolish by Sandip Singh is a very intriguing tale which relates a lot with the youth in India, who have insecurities related to their studies, job, relationship, and future.

The story revolves around the protagonist, Nahush, who is dissatisfied with his job at a private insurance company and feels like he is not living his life the fullest. He always feels low because he constantly keep comparing his own life with other as he is living someone else's life and allows others to influence or determine his choices, to meet their expectations.

This story follows the protagonist from New Delhi to Mumbai, from an unsuitable old job to a potential new one. His life becomes more complicated when he gets tussle between his family choice and his choice. What happens next? Will Nahush ever stop being insecure? What will he do in future?

The author has structured and narrated the story in a very relatable way as many will find it connected with their life. The story progresses a bit slower and then keeps building up characters and making them familiar. Language used is simple and lucid. I liked reading this book and recommend it to all. Enjoy Reading.

Insecure Nahush by Sandip Singh as the title suggests is Nahush's story, who is insecure about lots of things in his life.
The written text tells the tale of the struggles that every Indian middle class family goes through when the time comes to get the son of the family married who can further continue the legacy of the parents' names.
We also get to see the importance of how in marriages, mostly arranged, like of the future partner matters a tad bit less than whether the parents are happy and fine with the match.
We follow our protagonist in his search of the bride he loves and admires and who's not too dark when it comes to skin tones, the latter criteria set by his family all the while trying to be the dutiful agreeable son to his parents.
Though tragic in its narration, I found this one to be satirical and interesting in its own manner.
The one thing I loved the most was character development of everyone involved, it is just so so good.
The one thing that did not work out for me was the fact that it was a bit of a long reading, but rest all is just great.
Will recommend it to those who enjoy reading a fiction with extensive character development. Looking forward to reading more from the author.

Insecurity is a feeling of inadequacy (not being good enough) and uncertainty.
So this is the story of Nahush, which shows the situation atleast half of our generation faces. I have seen young people not feeling enough and not being able to express them thoroughly because they think less of them, being true sometimes I too face the same situation, but I try keeping it in check.

Character of Nahush feels so relatable and at the same time quite comforting. Seeing his choice and perspective, made me quite in an ease and hopeful, may be because I think I am not the only one questioning myself.

The world is never perfect and so aren't we,so seeing Nahush on his journey of acceptance and realising his self worth more than anything, was indeed inspiring.

The writing style is amazing and the narrative style is smooth too. The title and the cover, both are so apt and perfectly fits the story.

Make sure you check this out if you love reading contemporary fictions.

Happy reading ❤️

Some people have an unsteady mentality from birth, and even when the circumstance calls for them to speak, they choose to keep mute. Nahush, the main character, is one of them. He doesn't like working for a private insurance firm. His mother's tyranny and the constant fighting among his sisters-in-law keep him up at night, so he finds no comfort in his family. The protagonist of Insecure Nahush is followed from New Delhi to Mumbai, from an inadequate old job to a promisings new one. When he must choose between the woman his mother rejects and the woman who rejects him, will Nahush be able to marry the appropriate woman? Relationships, love, friendships, and insecurity are the themes of this tale. Smooth writing and narrative are used throughout. Many individuals, including myself, can relate to the character because of the excellent character development. It simply flawlessly synced the reader's heart with the feelings. The writing style of the book is excellent. The ebook has some decent language throughout. It connects and is easily understandable.

We humans can be quoted as to be one of the most unpredictable living beings on this planet. At times I feel even the Almighty, keeping an eye on us will also be puzzled by the actions we take and the decisions we make. Facing the complexities of life, also seems to be a troublesome and at times a tiring experience.

This book is about Nahush , as the title itself indicates. Living a normal life and being urged to make it extraordinary seemed hard for him. But it takes a lot to break the monotony and move out of the comfort zone. Somewhat fed up with his usual family drama and work chores, he finally decided to break the ice and move aside.

Starting life at a totally new place and adding a new phase was full of both assurance and doubts. But what will this journey lead to, nobody knows. I love the way Nahush's mental thoughts have been conveyed as it seemed quite relatable. Easy language to make understanding way better making it a reader friendly approach.

As the title of the book suggests, our main protagonist Nahush is someone who we all will relate in some or the other way. He is very much insecure about himself and his future. Also that constant feeling of not living his life fullest and just easily getting influenced by others eats him every now and then.
The storyline revolves around him and other few characters. I won't say that the book might keep you engaged throughout considering the length of the book. But the relatable content of book will deeply connect you. Along with this character the other issues reflected like Indian parenting, that whole drama of finding true match for himself.

Overall I can recommend this book for sure but don't expect too much of strength and positivity from the protagonist. Instead one can learn how much to respect your own self and many different aspects from his character.

Just as the title, the story revolves around Nahush, a young man, and his insecurities in life. Though it is a fictional read, the book can have the impact of a self-help book among the readers, as Nahush here represents today's youth who forgets to live their own life, getting themselves carried away by the influence of others.

The book is a bit lengthy and is medium-paced. Upon moving forward, Nahush’s character gets various layers and the story delves so deep. I loved how the author has portrayed the unfolding events and his realizations.

At certain points, Nahush may appear as a reflection of ourselves and that's the main positive highlight of the book. It is lucidly narrated in simple language but carries in-depth meaning and a huge message. It is a bit predictable but is still engaging. Overall, a good book that everyone can give a try.

The book Insecure Nahush by Sandip Singh.

This e book is about the story of Nahush who had a protracted tick list of life & now not satisfied together with his present day lifestyles. He desires a higher activity instead of the one he presently has in a private insurance organization. Her mom's dominating nature & sister's name callings makes him more stressed.

He is very much insecure about himself and his destiny. Also that constant feeling of not residing his existence fullest and just without difficulty getting inspired through others eats him every now and then.It is a story based totally at the subject matter of relationships, circle of relatives love and friendship with simple language and an engrossing writing fashion.

Writing fashion of the e book is good. Language used inside the ebook is pretty good. It's connecting & without problems comprehensible

📌 Just as the title says it is the story of Nahush who is insecure about almost everything, especially his job.

📌 Nahush represents the youth of today's generation and can be relatable to many as insecurities regarding jobs, studies, family life, etc are quite common in our society.

📌 I loved how the author has portrayed Nahush’s traumas and confusions in a realistic manner.

📌 It is medium-paced and properly executed.

📌 The plot is well developed and explores through his professional as well as personal aspects.

📌 The character development is on point. Apart from Nahush, all the other characters, big or small, has their own significance.

📌 The language is lucid and easy to follow. The narration is also fine.

📌 The title sounds apt but the cover could have been more attractive.

Insecure Nahush by author Sandip Singh is a story about a boy named Nahush who is struggling to work life in Mumbai and trying to balance the family expectations. Here Nahush represents today's young generation and since I belong to this generation, I found this book very relevant about the insecurities of jobs, studies, and family life of a common person.
As a whole, it was a good read !! The protagonist has been depicted in a great manner making him very raw and realistic. The author has effortlessly weaved the nuances of day-to-day life in the story to make it more impactful and relatable. The writing style of the author is very straight forward and clear and the reflection of reality in these pages make it even more interesting.
Definitely a heartwarming read which I would definitely recommend to everyone.

This book is about Nahush a young boy, who is not happy with his life. He is everything he can like a “Good Boy”. But he doesn’t feel content with his career, personal life, and family. This makes him doubt his abilities, question his choices. As the title says he is Sometimes Mature & Sometimes Foolish.
This story has a lot of aspects to focus on Self-Worth, Self-doubting, Family dynamics, Career -orientation, Love, Arrange Marriages, and above all Self-discovery.
The narration is very smooth. You will be engaged. The author has kept a very neutral pace with the story. The writing was captivating. The characters were believable and I could relate
If you want something light yet meaningful, this book is for you.
Happy Reading.

After reading this book, I came to the conclusion that this book can be found engaging by every youth of today as the thought- process of the protagonist and storyline is incredibly relatable and binds a connection between the character (Nahush) and readers.

A fictional book which teaches life lessons in indirect ways and gives a mind blowing message in the end.
The meaningful chapters of the book will prove to leave an impact for readers to realise their self- esteem and self- worth.

Not a single time I felt bored, the drama gripped me and kept me flipping the pages till the very end. The characters' evolvement was superb and the sequence was described perfectly which proved to be worth reading. Definitely recommended for everyone to give this book a read.

Book Review:

I was quite intrigued by the name Insecure Nahush so decided to delve into it. This is the story of Nahush and follows his journey over a course of time. It sheds light on his career, his family and his personal life. Nahush is not a content or happy man. However, as life takes its course, things do change. Will Nahush ever stop being 'insecure'?

Sandip Singh has penned quite a relatable story with elements of drama, suspense, thrill, emotions and a lot more. I liked how the story flowed. Although, I found the length a bit bothering, I was thoroughly invested. The language was quite comprehensive and the narration well paced. It is a good book overall. Happy reading!

Insecure Nahush is a fiction story that's filled with twists. The dramatic story has an inequally a insecure protagonist that has a relatable life at his home and outside it.
His sleepless nights are consequences of his mother and sister in law's argument and the daylight only witnesses his work at a place that never had been able to fulfill his dreams. Amidst all the turmoils what happens when he goes from new Delhi to Mumbai for a new job and meets someone that changes his life?
The twists start to pour in when he gets rejected and his mother rejects the girl. Read to have an entertaining ride.

‘Insecure Nahush’ by author Sandip Singh is a captivating journey of our main protagonist Nahush who is stuck in his life. This is the story of every common man.

You grow up having various aspirations. Then there are various challenges. Family pressure is one of them. He loves a girl named Pooja. However his mother does not seem to like Pooja because of her dark complexion.

He is struggling in his career. Then there is a tension at home. Is he going to convince his mother to let him marry Pooja or will he sacrifice his love for the sake of his mother.
I really enjoyed reading this story. The story was simple and very relatable.

Happy Reading.
