Reincarnation drama gets sent into overdrive in this isekai tale full of romance and scheming--and don’t miss the original light novels, also from Seven Seas!
Every time Riche turns twenty, she dies and is reincarnated to the day she gets dumped. She has been a merchant, an apothecary, and even a maid. For her seventh life, she has one goal: to live a long and lazy life. But then she gets a marriage proposal from the Crown Prince–the man who killed her in her previous life as a knight. Despite her determination to avoid drama, here she goes again!
Ah! Well, it was a fun read overall! So-called villainess has gained a wealth of knowledge through the time loop; even applying them wisely made the whole narrative really refreshing. I was intrigued by where the storyline headed and very much enjoyed it. But in the last few volumes, romantic aspects did not flash out as I waited for so long. I feel like that's the only flaw in the entire story.
One of the few things that's been able to keep my attention lately. Personally, I really enjoyed this first manga volume and plan to continue the series and possibly read the light novels.
I honestly didn't pay attention to content, but I do recall a 'd*mn', 'hell', and God's name misused once between both manga volumes.
Currently reading some manga I recently bought or got in the mail, so you'll see a lot of reviews lol. But ok ok 7th Time Loop? AMAZING. I absolutely adored how this started and especially I loved the protagonist Rishe. She's hilarious, a strong heroine, and cute. She remembers all her past lives so she knows medicine, fighting, trading, etc. Like this woman is incredible and now she's about to live her 7th life and guess what happens? She gets proposed by none other than the man who killed her in her sixth life omg. He's charmed by her and super intrigued by Rishe and I'm so ready for him to fall madly in love with her. THAT'S HIS WIFE NOW!
Updated Review 12/9/23: "It's okay because I learned that I can find my own purpose."
I enjoyed reading this volume MUCH more than I did the first time! While I still wouldn't say it was overtly very exciting, I did however appreciate that Rishe's life is not nearly as "boring" compared to her previous lives. This time I was able to see her past "selves" in her present life and how she used her knowledge from each one to aid her. She truly lives out what she told Arnold: "My skills and my knowledge are my treasures."
One thing that deeply stood out to me is how she really lives life to the fullest. It might have been briefly shown the "curse" her parents spoke to her often when she was growing up, but now she defines her OWN worth and lets no one define it for her. It doesn't matter what it is, she doesn't look down upon herself or the dream she has, which I really appreciate about her character. She is very inspiring and enjoyed seeing how she is living out her life in the now, but also looking forward to how she will live it out in the future.
The romance seems to be a slowburn but I am very much here for it! I LOVED the dance Rishe and Arnold had and the internal back and forth that only a dance as they had can create!
Overall, I'm looking forward to reading volume two and seeing what Rishe will do next!
Original Review 1/16/23: I don't know, I wasn't sold on this like I thought I would be. I've been SUPER curious and intrigued about the story so I FELT I would be based on what I had heard and been told, but once I started reading, I just couldn't seem to get hooked.
I found learning about her past lives super interesting though and think her decision to live a lazy life makes sense, but something was still missing for me with this one.
I think I'm sadly going to pass on reading more in this series (despite having volume two) because I'm not very excited about continuing to read it when there are a few other things on my TBR I'm more excited to try.
This was so, so good! While I feel like the "villainess becomes a good person" trope is becoming a bit overplayed, something I appreciate about it is I've seen light novel authors and the mangaka that eventually adapt their work actively try to change the formula. My Next Life as a Villainess started the trend, but I Swear I Won't Bother You Again continued its legacy by making the main character an actual villainess who tries to atone for her past and redeem herself. And now, with 7th Time Loop jumping into the fray, we have a fiesty, free-spirited and educated women be accused of crimes she didn't commit and rather than just accept it, she's trying different things in her next lives. Its a slight change, but its a big enough one that makes this feel fresh.
It also helps that the art is playful, the characters (especially best girl Rishe) are fun and endearing, and the story has a lot of potential. I can understand why people could get sick of seeing yet another villainess storyline, but I truly believe that, unlike a lot of story beats that could beaten to death, this is one that has actually evolved over time, with writers putting in the effort to separate the work from others and it showing.
Anyway, I rambled for too long. This was a great first volume and I'm super looking forward to reading more. I can't wait to sink my teeth into volume 2!
This was delightful. Riche is such a smart and determined character. I love how she used each of her lives to experience something new, and how she was able to carry that knowledge into each of her subsequent lives. I also adore her relationship with Arnold. They have such amazing chemistry, and he is truly enchanted by her exactly how she is. Riche is sure he can't be trusted (he directly caused her death in her last life, and indirectly in the previous), but she is finding he is very different than expected. I'm definitely looking forward to more.
I have no self control right now. This one wasn't originally on my list but I came across a chapter preview and liked the whole pretending to be a man thing, so yep. Another one I now own. I liked Rishe. Despite all she's been through she's still bubbly. Arnold is mysterious and I have a feeling he knows something about the time loop. With all the lives she's led, Rishe is a force to be reckoned with and I really want to see a spar or duel between them. The brother looks sus.

I'm going to be completely honest: I had never heard anything about this series until the anime started coming out. I watched a couple of clips and I was like, "Okay, I need to check this out." It's actually perfect timing since I've been getting more into the isekai genre. For anyone familiar with anime/manga, I would say this series is a combination of RE:Zero and My Next Life as a Villainess. Rishe takes the whole deja vu feeling to a whole new level when she finds herself not in her first, not her second, but her 7th time around as the disgraced noble lady after her worthless fiancé, the duke of her kingdom breaks up with her publicly. Every time Rishe has found her in this position she keeps the memories and skills she's developed from her previous lives, but each time trying to find a way to live beyond the age of twenty years old. Though she never would've imagined in any of her lives she would have become engaged to the reigning Prince of a neighboring kingdom after he has confessed he's fallen for her. I'm definitely intrigued by how Rishe has to carefully navigate different situations when using her knowledge of medicine, fighting, and more. Also navigating different relationships she's had with people throughout her multiple lives, but that are different now, and dealing with events that haven't even happened yet. This feels like the perfect comfort series where you can turn your mind off and just see where the characters are going to take you.
Don’t you just hate it when you get stuck in a time loop?
Rishe certainly does. Every time she hits twenty, she ends up getting killed and returning to when she was fifteen and being publicly dumped by her ex-fiancé. What a drag. Though short, Rishe has lived many lives. She’s been an apothecary, a maid, a knight.
In her seventh life, Rishe is determined to live a lazy and—hopefully—long life.
To do that, she plans to avoid all troublesome things. Unfortunately, fate isn’t in Rishe’s favor. When Rishe bumps into the Crown Prince while trying to escape the castle after being dumped, she accidentally winds up enamoring him. He proposes right away. No matter how Rishe tries to beg off, the Prince isn’t deterred.
Looks like an easy life just isn’t in Rishe’s stars.
This is the only kind of pseudo-isekai story that I like. I really appreciate typical isekai storytelling and tropes being reimagined for a FMC. Doing that is always unexpected and it opens the narrative to so many more possibilities. It just changes the whole vibe from being fan-servicey, incel bait to being more true fantasy with some female gazey romance elements. It’s definitely preferable to the alternative.
I’m definitely interested in reading more. Even though our MMC is named “Arnold”—which isn’t very sexy. I’m no willing to give this story a chance—and I hope you are too~
I love this manga! I've heard the light novel is even better and hope to read that soon as well. The tension and stakes are a stroke of brilliance, and the worldbuilding is quite intriguing. I find myself wanting more glimpses of the politics and magic at play. This is one of the best enemies to lovers I've read in a long time! Love both of the main characters! A clean, fun fantasy with historical vibes and romance--basically my bread and butter :)
Fun story about a young woman who has lived multiple lives. In this reincarnation she finds herself unexpectedly betrothed to the emperor who killed her in her previous life! This volume sets up the premise and introduces the characters. I’m excited to read the next volume.
I found this to be okay. I just don't feel enamored enough to continue reading it. However, before I give up on the series truly, I might watch the anime adaptation soon and see if it can make a difference for me.
yeah exactly. exactly my cup of tea YES! ROOOMANNCEEEEEE AYE AYE AYE plus the main girl she’s so cool and fun i want to be her… ROMANCE YEAH YEAH YEAH OH HES SO COOL but evil? but strange.. i like this story
Nouveau manga coup de cœur, c'est incroyable, heureusement que j'ai le deuxième tome dans ma pal et que j'ai commandé le troisième qui vient de sortir 🙏😘 Une parfaite petite romantasy 🕰✨️
I read most of these chapters online before this was picked up for official release, but this was a good refresher. I’m looking forward to more volumes 😊
I’m running the gambit to try out some new subgeras and such. I have to say that time loops may be one of the things that I develops a love for. It just makes so much more sense than a traditional isekai but it does kind of a similar thing for the MC, greater knowledge and skills.
I love the art style! Plot wise my review for the light novel would also cover the review for the manga as they're basically the same just one told just by words while others with pictures, I love both.
Cute, I love the artwork, but I think I'll continue with the light novel instead, if possible. There is just a bit more going on in the background that I found important. Plus, this volume is about 2 chapters of the light novel.
