Hidden in the Keys was very well written. The suspense kept me guessing the whole time until the end where I felt maybe the reveal was too much of a give away. I enjoyed the development of the main man's character, Brody, as the author was able to show a lot of his insights. I would have liked just a little more romance to give me more 'feels'.
I do recommend this read if you are looking for adventure.
Six will written mystery romantic relationship adventure thrillers short stories by Sage Parker (Complete Series books 1-6) (Longboat Key 🔑 Island). I listened 🎶 to these individually each story line is complicated with interesting characters misdirection twist action and violence leading to the unexpected conclusions. I would recommend this box 📦 set and author to 👍 readers looking for a quick read or listening. Enjoy the adventure of reading 👓 or listening 🎶 to Alexa read books 📚. 2022 👒😊💑🏡
This is a sweetly told murder mystery/romance written by a self publishing author. The story was captivating. The writing was simple and the topic was not well researched from many stand points plus she used dated language (stewardesses). A good editor would have helped. There are lots of typos or missing words. But her goal of writing sweet and clean romance novels was achieved. I enjoyed the quick read.
Did she or didn't she? Call in a missing person report and watch the crows, namely one crow poke over and over at the one who was immediately assumed to be guilty. Enter detective as the secrets begin slipping out. However, just not the right secret to end this missing person's case. Read on for the gripping findings of Hidden in the Keys by Sage Parker.
I didn’t know if I would like this series- mostly because of the format on KU- 6 short books, almost like long chapters. But surprisingly, I did. The characters were like able, it was a domestic mystery without being a thriller, a mystery without being violent and bloody and a romance without being too mushy or sexual. I liked the ending - not everything ends with all loose ends tied up.
I love the characters nice with each chapter. The plot kept you guessing until the very end. Suspense, danger and slowly building beautiful and tender romance. This book has it all. I couldn’t wait to find out who did it! What a great ending. Love this series and want to read all the books by this author now. Keep writing!
This really wasn't a series of books but one long book broken up in odd places. The characters were good but predictable, there was suspense and some drama but that was tame as well and it ended rather strangely without the big ending it seemed to be leading to. A bit disappointing.
I enjoyed this novel and wish the author well in future publications. All of her characters were captivating. Hints towards a surprise ending were there, but I had to go back several times to recheck information, but, that was a good thing since it meant things weren't too obvious. I will watch for more titles by Sage Parker.
Six books was very misleading. This is one average length book divided into six parts. Mrs. Masterson's nievity and devotion to her abusive husband was exasperating. She didn't mature or question anything in twenty five years? The story was pretty good, but seemed to be written for young teens, not adults.
I’m not used to reading six separate books to complete the story but this one kept me interested up til th end. The characters were believable and the setting was good. My only problem was at he very end. I expected Brody to see if Julia remembered the code game she used to play with her husband. I’m surprised the man took the ledger and all was forgotten.
Interesting romantic suspense. Julia Masterson reports her husband and Detective Brody Barker is assigned to the case. As they search for her husband, many secrets emerge showing a different side to her husband unknown to Julia. Along the way, Julia and Brody become close and he is forced to protect her from many things. A subtle romance with no sex involved.
I enjoyed these books with there easy to follow plot. It was very suspenseful with many unusual twist and turns. You could easily see the plot being taken from a newspaper headline. The author did a wonderful job connecting the reader to the main character.
Good mystery. So many characters keeps one guessing! Very interesting and well written. Looking for more from this author, especially in my neck of the woods, Florida.
I downloaded the whose series of books from Amazon. I was really happy that you could get the series from Kindle Unlimited. They were short books, It seems like they could have been placed in one book. The series was good to read, but it was very predictable.
Light beach reading. Improbable scenarios for a crime detective mystery series. Won’t be a spoiler but nothing to keep me turning the pages or keep me reading into the night. Okay to pass a few hours on the beach.
This is a fast-paced 6-book series I read in a day - Julia is living with her husband in Longboat Key. Her husband is missing and Julia works with a detective to find out what happened. Many twists and turns along the way that kept me guessing - I enjoyed the series
I really enjoyed getting to know all the characters and seeing the plot shift. I had someone else pegged for the murder. I liked how she would leave several areas open in the plot so it could go different ways.
Easy quick read. Like able characters although two dimensional. Finished only to see who the killer was. Simplistic and predictable. Won’t read another by this author.
Great series of stories by author, Sage Parker. I had difficulty putting books down to attend to my life. Lots of twists that kept me wondering throughout how the story would end.
I Enjoyed these sets of books It talked about A lady who fell that her husband didn't love her And all the things that she thought That he had did against her but she found out at the end he did care But it was too late because his daughter had killed him
The series was a fast read and I enjoyed it. However, the only criticism I have is whoever proofread the book did a poor job. There were a number of grammatical errors and missing words in sentences. It amazes me so many errors could be missed.
Who would have thought the detective and the widow would fall in love? Through every twist and turn, the detective was right there. The husband, Frank, was such a deceptive man! Julia certainly had the wool pulled over her eyes!!
It's a simple quick read. Fun, nothing special. I am HIGHLY ANNOYED with Amazon for letting me buy this twice. I tought it sounded familiar as I was reading book one. Due to their change in packaging. I now have bought the entire series twice. Not cool Amazon. Be careful readers!
I really enjoyed reading this series. Characters were interesting and storyline kept me intrigued and reading all day. Look forward to reading more by this author.
Very good read. I enjoy the suspense and would recommend it any one that likes suspense. It has kept me very glued to my iPad. I loved the setting of the story,
This series was a very easy read. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. I would recommend downloading the series, each book is very short and the books are a continuation of each other.
