A Devastating Computer Virus Powered by Artificial Intelligence Begins Remapping Human DNA...

... and the world explodes with conspiracies, viral media, and a zombie-like plague!

When the small college town of Mazevlle, home to a Defense department research lab and an reclusive A.I. pioneer, becomes ground zero for the outbreak, the fate of the town, and maybe the world, lies in the hands of a one-legged badass, a nearly naked Interpol agent, a waif-like retro-gaming genius, and the military scientist that started it all.

Battling the once-human monsters for every step above and below ground in the extensive underground labyrinths of the town, isolated by a relentless winter storm and targeted by a military hit squad, Bad Ass leads our misfit heroes in a race against a deadly cover-up to stop a global, dystopian prophecy as the town begins tearing itself apart from the inside out.

Man's Most Terrifying Monsters Are Here!

LOOP is inspired by real-world advances in artificial intelligence and rampant conspiracies of genetic engineering, along with the apocalyptic devastation of a zombie-like plague. With a wildly original group of meatspace heroes to root for, readers call Award-Winning Film Director Kely McClung’s debut novel "prescient, brutal, and effortlessly cool," and "unrelenting in action, terror, and pure imagination."

Want to stay alive? Then maybe turn off your fucking phone.

I do enjoy my monster stories. And not just during my annual October Spooky Book Read-A-Thon (yes, yes, the tee-shirts are still being printed!). I don't care if they're in the pages of action-adventure- and gunplay-addicted stories of gore and mayhem or the sinister, 'who is the real monster here?' pages of a good zombie novel! Heck, I'll even take them in the form of a well-crafted and splattery horror or scifi book with more realism to it than most of the same ilk (no, I do not think ANYONE will ever come in peace)! Just give me those hairy, scaly, undead, redead, and worse stories and I'll eat 'em up like they were a plate of fresh brains. Um, wait, no not really. Tacos. We'll stick with tacos.

The app, this Loop thing, was nothing more than a software update to the microchips already delivered worldwide inside the Covid vaccines. Triggered by new Chinese satellites secretly launched from somewhere in Africa.

However, with W.K.McClung's "Loop", I think we might need a new genre-heading. How does 'utterly whackadoodle' strike you? Friends, this book was legitimately insane. Yet it was also about as deliciously topical as you're going to find from a story that also features critters chewing on folks' faces! And the author made it seem even more tongue-in-cheek (whose tongue and whose cheek, I'm not sure!) by not giving all of his characters full names for a good part of the adventure! This was a perfect way of playing to the many stereotypes that these books not only contain but usually require to get you to their joyous - or more likely decidedly apocalyptic - endings.

A freshman congresswoman demanding an investigation into whoever hacked her Flat Earth support group.

Or at least that's what I suppose Bad Ass was up to… we're never quite sure about that! And you can pretty much guess what some called Pizza Boy's "role" wound up being. But it was also extremely entertaining how we started at the "end", reversed course and got caught up, then went wild with the conclusion! How McClung winds up bringing everyone back together again - not knowing from a lack of names earlier that he was in fact doing that! - was a real kicker! It's been a while since I felt like this so soon after reading a book (noting as well I've read some REALLY LONG books recently), but I kind of want to go back and re-read at very least the beginning* again! And maybe the middle and ending as well. Yeah, I had fun, so sue me!

They’re rearranging our DNA so our little kiddies can be born as hermaphrotrons for the socialist left and the Chinese infiltrated FBI.

Sure, I wish it had been executed a scooch better, so let's lop off a half-star if it makes you feel more comfortable. There were a few or more editing hiccups along with a number of tense disagreements scattered throughout… and the less we say about the occasional missing punctuation, the better. But I will say it also wasn't entirely distracting (my OCD meds must be working better!) because there were several scenes that needed that kind of burst of text that was delivered! I mean, when the poop (title pun!) is heading for the fan, sometimes proper verbage or spelling or full Oxford Comma-dom needs SHOULD be damned. We (the readers that is) need to just do our best to keep up with all that's happening and indisputedly getting out of control. Just trust me when I say: stay the hell out of any town called Ma(i)zeville until after you figure out if it's safe again!

Loopers were either porn addicts possessed by the Devil, escaped super soldiers, or the result of an orchestrated release of viral agents and disease meant to subjugate the poor.

McClung's style is easy-flowing and the book certainly read very quickly, but not too quickly as I was able to enjoy it over the past weekend of free reading time. There were a lot of extremely quotable and fascinating bits scattered throughout, which I also always appreciate. And again, I just have to stress that if you're looking for an original approach to a kind of "The Strain" or even "The Passage" but one that is more relevant to our post(???) pandemic world, then this is a great place to start! I know that I enjoyed the modern wink at so many of not only our society's (both meant in the singular and plural sense) ills but also habits and tendencies. And I'll never look at my kids peering at their damn iPhones again at the dinner table without expecting something even more sinister to pop up (or would that be pop out?)! And people mocked me because I continued to use my Blackberry to the very end!

Vanity combined with wish-fulfillment was the key to its rapid, viral-like spread. You didn’t have to change human nature, just tap into it.

Kids, this was fun, it had some great action in it, it was a bit spooky, it was well-imagined and more! Take it from a mysterious and strikingly handsome but unnamed Book Reviewer (two legs, no guns): "Loop" is one to check out for sure! And if you DO know how to deal with bombs, let us know… QUICKLY PLEASE!

(*actually there's no need to go back to that original bit, as it's part of the actual ending bit. But you didn't hear that from me…)

What does it say about humans as “an intelligent species” when the art of conversation and the appeal of interaction has devolved to the point of clicks, swipes, likes and shares on a phone while you sit next to someone in total silence? When the reality all around us just isn’t good enough any longer because we not only think we know better, but that we can do it much better?? What happens when an off-the-books clandestine experiment in artificial intelligence using contraband military technology goes horribly awry, which is to say, exactly as planned???

With his first novel, writer/director/actor/martial arts expert William Kely McClung has come out swinging, largely… I suspect, because he’s being chased by the crackling cacophonous chaotic killer creatures he writes about. And that’s the beauty of LOOP, a terrifying apocalyptic thriller that will keep you turning page after page because it all feels a little too real, and you just have to know if we… rather, “they,” make it out alive. See what I mean?!?

More than just the viral and violent tale of one one-legged man winning the world’s deadliest ass-kicking contest, LOOP is like an Orwellian warning on LSD. It confirms your deepest and darkest conspiracy theories. It adds fuel to the fires of the pyre of your paranoia. It’s a novel that will cause you to never look at your smart phone the same way again—at least, not until the next “Give us your personal photos, details and information for this free filter” social media trend that comes along anyway.

Part of the nail-biting allure of LOOP is the evolution of its characters—not just in journey and story arc—but even in the very identities of the characters themselves. Whether it’s a basic physical first impression description (Skinny, Beast) or clever sobriquets (Bad Ass, Clothes Hanger, Teen Idol) or their actual names (Ula, Jessie, Carmine), McClung makes you fall for a character before you even really get to know that much about them, so that the longer they stick around, the longer you want them to stay alive.

So often we like to convince ourselves that the end of the world is something utterly unavoidable that will be forced upon us against our will. LOOP presents us with an apocalypse that we actually signed up for since nobody bothers to read all the EULA mumbo jumbo one has to accept when you log on, download, update, or install anything these days.

At any given moment, on any random page, LOOP simultaneously reads like a sci-fi fictional facsimile of the beginning of the end of days, a dystopian manifesto with a dire warning about our overindulgence and outright dependence on technology and social media for existential validation, a screenplay for one hell of a harrowing horror film, or a survivor’s journal from a not-so-distant future of ours. After all, what’s left in Pandora’s Box (account) when even hope has run away? Just keep telling yourself, “it could never happen to us”… right?!?

Science fiction is something that I never quit reading as they are the most versatile and experimental genre where the author can smartly insert their imagination and weavs a story that might be nothing alike a real world we live in but a world which is even better than existing one with additions which nobody can think of. I keep finding such books which are so multifaceted and this book especially was epic.

William Kely McClung's recent work LOOP: A Pulse-Pounding Novel of Science-Fiction Horror which obviously is a blend of the most intermediating genres like science fiction, suspense and horror. Despite the fact that I love science fiction so much but still hesitate to read horror fiction. But the author helped me to overcome my fears by writing down such interesting and nail biting zombie story. The story is set in a modern town where a zombie like plague which has captured the whole city and made it it's ground base where everybody from government to Interpol to military is trying to battle with.

I personally loved the AI and horror touch to the story which made it a spine chilling read.

Exceptional well written.

Best read I have had in a long time. Book may be classified as science fiction but it has some thing for everyone, that includes every generation. It was a constant page turner that I could not put down once I started. I believe it will become a block buster film and well worth taking the time now to read it. Very timely.

Loop does not fall easily into one of my usual genres. In fact, although it is billed as "Science Fiction Horror" it is really genre defying or maybe a new genre entirely. Certainly there are elements of SF, and horror but also thriller, steampunk, cyberpunk and contemporary western.
The prologue is a gentle(!) introduction to the mayhem which follows. There is an overarching narrative but within that some very human stories and some very contemporary political concepts. Some of the characters are larger than life, if not downright unbelievable, while others are all too familiar and easy to relate to.
If I had to compare, there are a few similarities with the steampunk novel, "Boneshaker" by Cherie Priest and William Gibson's "Burning Chrome".
Comparison does Loop a disservice though. It carries you along on a relentless tide, more like a film than a novel.
I liked it!

LOOP leaves nothing out in this science fiction horror

I met William Kely McClung on set of a film he directed, and interviewed him for a newspaper. Back then, I could tell he had a passion for story telling. Fast forward to 2022 and the passion adds the title, Author to his name, which includes actor, filmmaker, photographer and martial arts expert.
LOOP takes an obsession with devices and social media's content, along with the true colors of the human race and blends into an horrific scenario.

Mad Max could never survive without the character known as Bad Ass.

LOOP is a war of worlds but without another planet.

I'm not even going to give off any hints. Step inside McClung's mind via LOOP and see for yourself.

These phrases sum up my experience of reading this science fiction which combines one of the tried and tested trope of Zombie invasion with the advent of AI when an experiment goes awry.

2) The author has captured the imagination of the readers by narrating the surreal sequences into a realistic manner which makes the plot all the more alluring.

3) I loved the conspiracy theories which spiced up the plot and fired up my thought processes. Nothing gives more thrill than the idea of conspiracies seeming a reality.

Loop is a tantalizing mix of martial arts, supernatural elements, secrets, power tussle and technology embedded in an engaging story that keeps readers glued to the end. The book speaks of interesting unique characters like one legged hero, a secret agent with a penchant for gaming and a scientist. They team up together in a small town against the zombie debacle. It portrays the possible consequences of the obsession of humans with technology.

The conspiracy theories that dot the plotline feels like one's darkest nightmares, the thought of them is enough to disturb the mind and questions humans increasing dependency on the technology. The detailed descriptions by the author keeps the reader totally absorbed in the other world. The characters are shaded, constantly weighing their interests and fighting their own demons. As the story progresses, Bad Ass, Clothes Hanger and Teen Idol don't feel like any stranger .

Loop is a thrilling roller-caster ride which is like a reflection of the gloomy future, human kind is heading towards at enormous speed. If humans don't restrict the over-indulgence and moderate the dependency on social media and technology, the doom day is not far away. The author through the zombie apocalypse shows us the death knell that is almost staring us in the face.

I would recommend this book to every science fiction and thriller lover.

LOOP is a gripping science-fiction horror novel written by William Kely McClung that seamlessly blends elements of suspense, time-travel, and horror to create a pulse-pounding reading experience. The story follows a group of scientists who inadvertently open a time-loop while conducting experiments at a remote research facility, leading to catastrophic consequences and unleashing a terrifying entity from another dimension. It’s more about artificial intelligence which made this book interesting and captivating.

The novel's plot is its strongest asset, filled with a relentless series of twists and turns that keep readers on the edge of their seats. The author's skillful use of suspense and well-paced storytelling adds tension and intrigue to the narrative. McClung masterfully captures the claustrophobic atmosphere of the isolated research facility, heightening the sense of impending doom as the characters find themselves trapped in an endless loop of horrors.

The characterization in LOOP is a mix of both strengths and weaknesses. Some of the primary characters are well-developed and evoke genuine empathy, allowing readers to connect with their fears and struggles. However, a few secondary characters feel underdeveloped and fail to leave a lasting impact on the story. More depth in character development could have enhanced the emotional resonance of the novel.

The horror elements in the book are genuinely spine-chilling and imaginative. McClung successfully builds tension and creates a sense of unease with atmospheric descriptions and eerie occurrences. The entity from another dimension is a haunting and formidable presence, providing a unique and terrifying antagonist that keeps readers guessing until the very end.

The scientific aspects of the story are intriguing and well-researched, adding credibility to the time-travel premise. McClung's attention to detail in explaining the mechanics of the time-loop is commendable and serves to ground the story in a believable context, even as the plot delves into supernatural and terrifying territories.

In summary, LOOP is a thrilling and inventive science-fiction horror novel that will captivate fans of the genre. With its well-crafted plot, spine-chilling horror elements, and exploration of time-travel concepts, William Kely McClung delivers an engaging and pulse-pounding reading experience. Though it occasionally stumbles in character development and intricacy, the novel remains a compelling and worthwhile read for anyone seeking an adrenaline-fueled journey into the depths of science-fiction horror.

An incredibly fascinating - potentially prescient - Sci-Fi novel

Author William Kely McClung is also a photography artist, screenwriter, filmmaker, and martial arts champion. In everything he creates his works support his theme of ‘People are worse than anything we can make up, but of course, can be better than anything we imagine.’ His cinematic is evident as LOOP opens - ‘Ash - more than smoke, less than dust. So fine it floated on currents in the air made by their passing. Even behind the cloth he wrapped around his face to keep from breathing it, you could tell it had no odor, and yet his tongue was coated in a thick film that along with he absence of smell, the nothingness of it, tasted of death. Little noise, as if sound waves from outside the bubble, a rolling, near primordial stew of flora and fauna little touched by man, knew to stop at the perimeter. The only sound that registered from within was his heartbeat, and the pattering of small, naked feet from the three children leading him…’ This wondrously bizarre passage provides entry into one of the most fascinating - and horrifying - extensions of the AI world in which we now live on the doorstep!

McClung condenses the plot well - ‘A devastating computer virus powered by Artificial Intelligence begins remapping human DNA and the world explodes with conspiracies, viral media, and a zombie-like plague! Man's most terrifying monsters are here!’

Both entertaining and insightful, this novel places the possibilities/probabilities before us as a stunning fictional novel as well as a red flag warning of how an AI, genetic engineered world could become. Excellent writing from a Pro. Very highly recommended.

In an age where human interaction has been reduced to clicks and swipes, William Kely McClung's debut novel, LOOP, raises thought-provoking questions about the state of our society as an "intelligent species." The book delves into the consequences of our obsession with technology and our misguided belief that we can improve upon reality itself.

With a gripping narrative that seamlessly blends elements of apocalyptic horror and Orwellian dystopia, LOOP takes readers on a thrilling journey that feels uncomfortably close to home. McClung's ability to create a sense of realism and urgency keeps readers hooked, as they become invested in the survival of the characters and the unraveling of the clandestine experiment gone wrong.

Beyond its heart-pounding plot, LOOP stands out for its character development. McClung introduces a diverse cast of individuals, each with their own unique traits and identities. From physical descriptions to clever aliases and given names, the author expertly crafts characters that evoke empathy and attachment. As readers delve deeper into the story, they find themselves rooting for these characters, hoping they make it through the chaos unscathed.

The novel also serves as a cautionary tale, challenging our complacency and blind acceptance of the digital age. It highlights the dangers of our overreliance on technology and social media for validation, urging us to question the terms and conditions we mindlessly agree to. McClung's exploration of this theme adds an additional layer of depth to the story, leaving readers contemplating their own relationship with technology and the potential consequences.

LOOP is a multifaceted work that reads like a chilling glimpse into a not-so-distant future. Its thought-provoking narrative and well-crafted characters make it a compelling read for fans of sci-fi, horror, and dystopian fiction. As you immerse yourself in the pages of this gripping novel, you'll be confronted with unsettling truths and compelled to reconsider the impact of our technological society. Remember, in the world of LOOP, the line between fiction and reality is more blurred than we'd like to admit.

LOOP: A Pulse-Pounding Novel of Science-Fiction Horror
Author - William Kely McClung
Genre - Science fiction / Horror/ Thriller/ Gory
Rating - 5/5

What a scorching Sci-fi novel my goodness, I haven't reached such an adrenaline rush for years. I can swear this is going to be on my best sci-fi thriller list.

Story plot, science revolution, and horror at its best. I rarely feel relatable when it comes to science fiction books. Most of the time I felt detached and unrelated but this one completely drew me. Only can be comparable to classics.

A Devastating Computer Virus Powered by Artificial Intelligence Begins Remapping Human DNA. And here he got me. This is just right up my alley.
The premise is welcoming to a small college town of Mazevlle, home to a Defense Department research lab and a reclusive A.I. pioneer, which becomes ground zero for the outbreak, the fate of the town, and maybe the world lies in the hands of a one-legged badass, a nearly naked Interpol agent, a waif-like retro-gaming genius, and the military scientist that started it all. Whoofff, it was a seriously breathless, dazzling thriller.

I read his second book before now I read his first book, okay I was doing it in reverse, but it doesn't feel reversed. It was way better as plot execution. His distinguished style doesn't make the story unfurled easily and keeps the readers guessing. But, the high-paced environment is enough to get an adrenaline rush from the very beginning.

DNA-based data map, that enough to get me into this book, I have a nack in biology. And horror was brilliantly portrayed, I was shivering in every chapter. This is the one helluva book that I can't get enough of it. Highly recommended to all readers. Best book to get out of the reading slump.

In a thought-provoking exploration of our current state as an "intelligent species," LOOP raises unsettling questions about the erosion of genuine conversation and the allure of virtual interactions through clicks, swipes, likes, and shares. It challenges our tendency to believe that we not only know better than reality but can also improve upon it.

The novel presents a terrifying apocalyptic thriller that feels unnervingly real, compelling readers to keep turning the pages to discover if "they" will survive the catastrophic events.

More than just an adrenaline-pumping tale of a one-legged man triumphing in a lethal ass-kicking contest, LOOP is akin to an Orwellian warning on hallucinogens, reinforcing our deepest conspiracy theories and stoking the fires of our collective paranoia. It forever alters our perception of smartphones, leaving us wary of their true capabilities, at least until the next intrusive social media trend sweeps us along in its clutches.

One of the captivating aspects of LOOP is the evolution of its characters, not only in their personal journeys and story arcs but also in the very essence of their identities. McClung expertly introduces characters with brief physical descriptions, clever aliases, or given names, creating an immediate connection that intensifies as they navigate the harrowing circumstances, engendering a genuine desire for their survival.

LOOP: A Pulse-Pounding Novel of Science-Fiction Horror" by William Kely McClung is an absolute thrill ride that I couldn't put down. From the moment I delved into the story of a devastating computer virus, powered by artificial intelligence, that reshapes human DNA, I was hooked.

The characters in this book are a ragtag bunch of misfits, each with their unique skills and quirks, which made them incredibly relatable and endearing. As they navigate the chaos of a small college town overrun by zombie-like creatures and conspiracies, I found myself rooting for them every step of the way.

The author's writing is not only fast-paced but also thought-provoking, drawing on real-world advancements in AI and genetic engineering to create a chillingly plausible dystopian future. The relentless action and unrelenting tension kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.

In short, "LOOP" is a gripping page-turner that seamlessly blends science fiction and horror. It's an excellent read for anyone who enjoys a thrilling, action-packed story with a dash of futuristic intrigue. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

What will happen if tomorrow we have an app that can change our genetic makeup?!
Scary right?!

Loop by William Kely McClung -
It's not your usual sci-fi horror replete with zombies!

Science fiction and horror are treated as diverse genres but we have had one of the greatest books in the literature combining the two - Franskestein by Mary Shelly. Loop by William Kely McClung is a book that came closer to reviving the feels of the classic for me, albeit leaving it's own unique imprint on my mind.

Loop by William Kely McClung has excellent, unique and out of the box plot. Here the author experiments with many themes and subjects at once. The internet addiction, recent pandemic, and vulnerability of today's society, spread of viruses and rapid development of technology to the level at which it can impact our physical being through outer stimulus as simple as an app or an episode of our favorite cartoon!©

Loop by William Kely McClung is a pretty dance intricate and captivating read. The world of Loop is a place where time flows like a river and realities change as quickly as scenes in a play.
The characters in Loop feel like people you might know - they're relatable, yet with an air of mystery. Our protagonist is a flawed yet inspiring figure, shaped by his circumstances but not defined by them. McClung's skill in bringing these characters to life is truly remarkable.
At times Loop’s narrative ambition can lead to moments of confusion, and some story threads feel like they could have been explored further. But these are minor hiccups in an otherwise smooth journey. McClung's writing style is as fluid as the concept of time in his book. His descriptions are rich and vivid, painting a picture that you can almost touch. His dialogue is sharp and character-driven, adding another layer of authenticity to the story. The pacing has its ups and downs, but it keeps the suspense alive. An audacious piece of storytelling that deserves to be savored, pondered, and celebrated.

A highly complex thriller that combines medicine, sci-if and AI to create a story that is honestly super scary at some points.

When there is a leaked video that shows a person burning up and turning into a monster that preys on other people, no one knows if it is fiction, clever editing or horrific reality. Lots of unlikely individuals cross paths in their efforts against these monsters, but will any of them survive?

For me this book was difficult to read… each chapter is from a different perspective and keeping track was tough. Plus the story keeps shuffling between past and present. However, the characters are well fleshed out and in the end it all makes sense. My favourite part of the book is that each character gets a random nickname - so we have Badass, Skinny, Beast etc… this makes the people’s characteristics come alive in a way just having a name wouldn’t.

With the level of complexity in this book, it definitely merits a reread because I’d love to delve further into the concept!

Today, I’ll be writing a review on a book I’ve read countless times. “The Loop” written by Ben Oliver, is a story about a boy called Luka who's been forced into a high-tech prison with others, and wishes to escape some day. The story is a complete science fiction story and talks about the amazing breakthroughs and sacrifices he must make to achieve the freedom of his wishes. This book is both entertaining and nerve wracking, when reading this you won’t think how many pages you’ve read, but how many pages are left! This book will get you addicted immediately, making you curious if there is a sequel to it! After reading this book so many times, I’ve never gotten bored of reading it again, it’s that good. This book isn’t as well known as other books, and I think deserves more attention for its amazingly well written story. Hopefully, after reading this review I hope you give the book a chance and read it, for it’s very entertaining. Hey, and don’t worry, there’s a lot more books to continue reading for “The Loop’s” trilogy!

My love for supernatural is a never ending saga and with a little tint of horror added to it makes it a outrageous story. The book, Loop by W Kely Mc Clung is one such read. This doesn't just end with supernatural and thriller being the main part of the story line but given little inclusion of tech makes it a more enticing one.

The narration really did feel like I was currently in a small town with the zombie outrage and felt right like a motion picture. I had to be very specific about picking up this one is especially with the dystopian and supernatural clouds that would be covered in the story line.

This is a counter narrative to the zombie apocalypse where human has possibly caused an outbreak by biting a zombie. Finally, the research that has been put into it in showcasing the journey of characters throughout the story which is balanced overall. It's a take on ongoing technological advancements and rapidly growing scientific innovations with a touch of dystopian devastation.

In a mesmerizing blend of sci-fi, horror, and pandemic-driven survival, William Kely McClung's debut masterpiece, LOOP, unveils a dystopian realm where artificial intelligence, social media, super-viruses, and conspiracy theories coalesce. Sounds familiar in a way, and not too far from our current world. Remarkably, in spite of being McClung's first novel, his storytelling genius shines, reflecting his experience as a seasoned action cinema creator. "LOOP: A Pulse-Pounding Novel of Science-Fiction Horror".

It runs like a real action horror movie and has you in its gory, monstrous grasp. Such a fantastic read! As the plot jumped around from scene to scene, I really liked how the characters evolved. An engaging and frightful story is created by well-developed individuals battling out of control technology.

A screenplay for an incredibly terrifying horror movie, a survivor's journal from a not too distant future, Once it got going, it was a nonstop page turner that was impossible to put down.It draws in for a frantic, dangerous, and heart-pounding ride.
You will adore the book if you enjoy both horror and science fiction.

A great story with many surprising moments. Unquestionably amazing Book .

This is my second McClung book, my first being part of his Tommy Black series. Like the other book, McClung has a knack for keeping the action going. The creative style in this book differs from the last one I read and fits well with how the world ended up.

The story itself follows a literal badass, or Bad Ass. The characters here are well thought out. McClung does a great job detailing the world and creating an atmosphere for the characters in this AI-initiated dystopia. It's an excellent commentary ( even if embellished for the novelization) on the real threat of what could happen if we progress the way we have: with a reckless lack of consideration for the consequences of technological leaps. Overall, I recommend this book, it's worth the read!

Loop is an interesting blend of sci-fi and horror. The book is an exploration of a dystopian world where artificial intelligence, social media, super-viruses, and conspiracy theories intertwine in a chillingly familiar way.
The narrative is well crafted, with twists and turns that certainly held my attention. The characters interact well and have unique perspectives adding depth to the story. There is a dark, suspenseful atmosphere that lingers throughout the book.
I’d say this would be an interesting read for any fan of sci-fi and horror. I think this will stay with me for quite a while. So, if you're looking for a book that combines suspense, horror, and thought-provoking themes, then Loop is probably for you.
