Reason #1: I thought you were only a one-night stand. Reason #2: I didn't think that you'd show up as my professor. Reason #3: I just wasn't... thinking.
And I should have. But I shut off the smarter half of my brain before going to that party. I saw you, and I was floored. Mesmerized. Like a little girl in a candy store. But when I wore my big girl shoes and showed up to class, you took my breath away... again. Because there you were... with your big bulging biceps and those nerdy glasses. Staring me down like you were going to punish me for being late.
Did you know that I was your student when you held me in your arms?
Did you know that I could get pregnant and you could lose your job if this secret were to come out?
This series is so crazy, it’s messed up. Brace yourself for a whole lot of heat, a satisfying HEA, no cheating, and absolutely no cliffhangers.
This is the second book in so crazy its messed up series and it was every bit as good as the first, we originally met Quinn in Why I Still Hate You and I was hoping that she would get her own story. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Quinn is working her way through college after working hard to earn a full scholarship and paying the rest of her bills by waitressing part time and tries to help her mum by sending money home. Quinn hasn’t had an easy ride that’s for sure with her mum being a drug addict she has had to fight for everything she has but the last straw came when the man she thought she could trust and gave her heart to betrayed her, she is totally disillusioned with the idea of love and has decided that she is only going to have fun, no strings to tie herself down with. Which is why she found herself at a party on new year’s eve where she meets a man she has incredible chemistry with and they share a night of true passion. But that should have been it so imagine her shock when he turns up in her class but not as a student but her new professor, can she ignore the passion and chemistry that still simmers between them or is this too much for her to walk away from?
Bennett has returned home after catching the woman he loved and believed loved him cheating on him with another man in their apartment, coming from a family with money and has a large trust fund, he quickly learns that she was only after his money. So he is back home trying to heal his heart and believing that love is not for him. So when his brother convinces him to go out on new year’s eve he wasn’t expecting to meet Quinn and after they share an incredible start to the new year in a night of hot passion but come the morning he knows that she only wanted one night whereas he wants more and tries to call her. But things get really complicated when he arrives to teach his class and finds the woman who has been haunting him. Bennett wants Quinn in his life so how will he react to her little surprise and will he lose his career?
Really love this series and am hoping there is more to come, it’s a fast paced emotional ride and you really want them both to find their happy ever after. I highly recommend this book and this author. 4.5* read.
Very hott romance with tons of steam and I loved getting to get Quinn’s story and see everyone from book 1 again!
Quinn is fiery female who does what she needs to survive! She has her own back and though she loves her best friend Ella she knows she will never trust a man again! That is until she meets Bennet!
It was sort of an age gap. Small though, 7 years. So not a huge age difference.
I loved how Quinn captured his attention in the beginning, with her free spirit and impulsiveness.
I also liked how they both tried to stay away from each other once she learned he was her professor but that when they gave up they really just gave up. All the yearning and wanting each other was packed into one reunion filled day. I just like how right it finally felt for them.
It didn’t stay that way, they were under pressure trying to keep the relationship quiet and the pressure caused arguments, and actually I thought Quinn was more mature in some of those moments than Bennet. But it made them seem even more right for each other IMO because it showed that she was wise beyond her years. She wasn’t a typical 20 year-old.
One thing I’m a little confused about is that the author said this was the last book in the series, when she clearly left it open for Bennett’s brother to have a book. I’m assuming he has a baby of his own out there with a woman he loves, from the things he said and the way he acted at the end. But that was the end? Mystery unsolved? Strange.
Quinn has had a hard life, but through her own willpower and determination, she is creating a much brighter future for herself. She pushed herself in school, earning a full scholarship to the college of her dreams. She also works very hard at a part time job, sending money home to help her drug addict mom. Nothing came free or easy for Quinn. Also love is not something Quinn believes in anymore after getting burned by a boy she loved and trusted. Now she's only looking for a good time, no strings attached. Bennett comes from a wealthy family, but chose not to take the easy way out in life. He has a nice sized trust fund, but doesn't use it. He took out student loans to help him pay his way through college for a teaching degree. Of course his family wanted him to join their business and they just don't understand his need to do things his own way. His thoughts on love are pretty skewed, he fell hard and got engaged, only to walk in on her in their bedroom, with another man. Seems she was only interested in his money. New Year's Eve is here and both Quinn and Bennett find themselves at the same bar. They hit it off right away and leave behind the groups they were both supposed to be with. Both are hoping the incoming year will be better for them than the past one. On a whim, Quinn comes up with a crazy idea and Bennett happily follows her. This leads them to a night of passion, one that they both feel was the best night of their lives. But morning comes and Quinn wants to get back to her life, no strings attached. Bennett tries to contact her, but she never answers. Imagine their surprise when they see each other again in a totally unexpected scenario!! Maybe they should have learned a little about each other before they spent the night together. Also, aside from the shock of seeing each other again, there's still more surprises to come... I loved this book! The story was fast paced but you totally develop feelings for both characters!! Each has their own story of heartache and you find yourself rooting for them to find happiness!! I look forward to reading more from this author in the future!!!

In this second book in the So Crazy, It’s Messed Up series is Quinn’s story. She is the best friend of Elle from Why I Still Hate You. We learn about her life back in Arizona that fills us in on her attitude and personality. She owns her sexuality and isn’t afraid to show it.
Quinn is a hard-working college student, paying her way through college with a job waitressing. After catching his girlfriend with another guy in their apartment, Bennett has returned home to Tennessee. His brother convinces him to go out with him and his buddies on New Year’s Eve. Quinn happens to attend the same party and meets Bennett. The electricity between the two is instant and undeniable and leads them to an unforgettable night… one that Quinn believes is all she is worthy of. Love isn’t for her.
The title, Why This is Wrong, comes into play a couple weeks later when Quinn learns that her first class of the week in the new semester is taught by none other than Bennett West, Mr. Sexy Bar Bennett.
I usually don’t like the teacher/student trope, but the chemistry and well-developed characters and story had me sitting down to finish this in one sitting.

I thoroughly enjoyed this second book in the So Crazy, It's messed up Series!
I adored Quinn and Bennett!
Quinn had a rough past but had overcome all adversity to be a strong independent woman and I loved that she knew what she what she deserved and was aware of what she wasn't prepared to put up with. You can't be half in and Quinn wasn't prepared to accept anything less than 100%!
Bennett was swoon worthy as our main man and I was instantly drawn to him and his overwhelming feelings towards Quinn!
I thought the whole teacher / student relationship would be an issue for me but this storyline was set up in such a way that I didn't even bat an eyelid at it!
Whilst their relationship was full of conflict and angst I was easily drawn into their push and pull and couldn't put this one down until I had read it cover to cover.
There was a perfect balance of steam and emotion in this one for me - I loved how these two were so drawn to each other yet still so aware of the personal obstacles they needed to overcome to make it towards their happily ever after!
SIDENOTE - there's a couple scenes with my main faves from the first book so be on the look out for a couple cameos from our OG's; Grayson and Ella!
I can't wait for the next edition in this steamy series!
This is the second book on this series and it was amazing. Loved Quinn and Bennett. One sexy sinful night with a stranger is all Quinn wanted and that’s just what she got and then disappeared by morning never to see him again, only to be sitting in class and in walks the teacher whose voice you recognize and your body fills with heat and notice your English teacher was your one night stand.
Bennett and Quinn have a complicated situation here and figuring out how to maneuver this tricky situation is something you definitely need to read. These two are hot and steamy, both have been burned and trust is a big issue for both, but can they trust and believe in each other to overcome the obstacles that are before them? I hope that Micah gets a book because I really need to know what was going through his mind towards the end of this book! Wink wink I want to know!! Loved this book and I found it in BookSprout.
This is not the way I expected Quinn’s story to play out, mostly in that it’s not the hero I thought she was going to end up with. But I can see how she needed a man like Bennett rather than the boys she’d been spending time with. I had a bit of a rough start with this book because once they found out Bennett was one of her teachers, Quinn starts acting in what I thought were very manipulative and vindictive ways – not attractive traits. The emotional roller-coaster that follows, made me a believer. They make mistakes, they apologize, they learn and grow. And the ending is pretty darned sweet. Now I’m hoping we’ll get to see what’s going on with Bennett’s brother in a future book. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
This is the 2nd part of this awesome duet. Quinn had had a tough upbringing which has shaped her into the strong and independent person she is today, and Bennett comes from a wealthy family ( but prefers not to live off his trust fund and works as a teacher ) and seems to have had the perfect life. The chemistry between these two is steamy when they meet at a bar on New Years Eve. But fate threw a spanner in the works when Bennett walks into his classroom and finds Quinn in the front row.
This is a well written story which is filled with emotion, angst, conflict, and is a steamy read. I recommend this for all forbidden teacher / student romance stories.

Quinn is a college student. For Christmas break she went home. Her mom was strung out as usual. Her mom’s latest tried to come on to her and she packed her bags and went back to the dorm.
Quinn decided to go to a bar on New Years Eve. She ordered orange juice since she was only 20. She saw Bennett. They started talking. They only know each other’s 1st names. They leave together and have a wild night.
Spring semester starts and Quinn goes into her English comp class and finds Bennett is the professor. What will she do? What will happen when they both realize they are attracted to each other? You need to read to find out!

Bennett and Quinn meet New Year Eve and they were intrigued and instantly attracted to each other. They spend a passionate night together and Quinn leaves but gives Bennett her phone number. Quinn never contacts him she’s too busy get back to school. She walks in to her class and her professor walks in and it’s Bennett. They try to keep away from each other but it’s too hard. They both have issues in the past and a surprise for the future. Can they be together or is there too much in the way ? Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. Awesome book love Quinn and Bennett.
Bennett and Quinn meet on New Years and one things leads to another. Things get rather steamy several times. I love how both are shocked that their one night stand happens to be professor Bennette West and Quinn his student. Talk about unexpected, lots of drama and full of surprises. Unbelievable chemistry makes this book a captivating read. Quinn is fiesty which makes for quite an entertaining character and fun to read how Bennett handles a woman like her.

Quinn life is not the greatest, she has a mother who is addict, she had to fend for herself, since she was a young girl. Now she is in college, she works in the dinner, she has a plan for her life. Then she goes to the bar on New Year's Eve and meets Bennett. They spend one night together, she leaves in the morning and try to forget about it. When she is back to college, for new semester, she meets her new teacher, the man, she couldn't forget, Bennett. This story is great, I did enjoy a lot.

Monica Bolt is fast becoming a go-to author for me!!
Another flawless & entertaining read from this consistently great author... super hot and steamy quick book with great characters to keep you wanting to read till the very end. Another delightfully steamy book written by Monica Bolt who is fast becoming a go-to author for me!!
I loved the instant chemistry between the two especially when they realized that they are student and teacher. They kept their attraction quiet for the most part even when they found out about the unintended pregnancy. Overall a really good story. I'm still dying to find out why Bennetts brother reacted the way he did after seeing his nephew.
ARC review I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. When 20 yr old Quinn Ramirez grew up she had a mother she never wants to be . On new years night she meets Bennett West which makes her know that life has its ups and downs.fantastic story
Highly entertaining, sexy, fun and action packed adventure filled with engaging and interesting charters, witty banter, heart racing twists and emotionally thrilling passion that will not be ignored... was a great read.
This story is.... AMAZING!! I absolutely love Quinn and Bennett. Yes, when these two met they never expected to see each other again but of course life is never that easy. These two faced many challenges, separately and together, some harder then others but made the best out of everything. 🖤💙🖤
I do love the Prof/Student genre so much. This was a good one. The way Bennett and Quinn try to fight their attraction to each other. There was a bit of angst in there as well. If you love the genre you will love it.
I just loved this book. The struggles of getting my degree while balancing work, family and studying was exhausting. I had a supporting man in my life or I never would never made it.
I enjoyed reading this part of Quinn’s world. Nothing like a good romance to get you through the night. Meeting someone nice smart and funny is fun, learning they are a subordinate I’d frightening. Finding out your pregnant worse.
I love the book. The forbidden relationship between Professor and Student, the suprise baby it's really well written. And I love that it isn't smooth sailing, but that it is hard work to maintain a healthy relationship and to balance life with a child.
I loved this book! Monica Bolt does it again everyone! This book was super cute, funny, and also somewhat sad! So much romance occurred that it really does make you swoon! Overall, a must read!!!
The best thing about a one night stand is you never have to see the person again, even if you exchange numbers, you can ignore them, which is exactly what Quinn did, Mason on the other hand wanted to see her again so tried to call and even left a voice mail which went unanswered!
What neither expected was for Mason to walk into his classroom on the first morning back after the winter holidays and find Quinn sat front and center! Both and were shocked to see the other but the attraction was still there, it’s wrong to be in a relationship with a student, so both resisted, until Quinn p, in anger blurted our some news, which shocked him into silence!
What follows is a story of love and forgiveness.
This is a good read, and I read it in one sitting.
