They keep to themselves in the wilderness, and beta civilization knows to keep its distance. Especially beta women…for fear they may not be a beta after all.
The only way to know your true nature is to feel the touch of an Alpha. Omegas may be rare, but every woman knows their fates are hellish—held captive, broken, mated, knotted, and bred.
But Paige doesn’t have a choice. Hunted by a vengeful fiancé, her only hope for survival lays in the hands of a primal Alpha miles beyond the boundary.
The reality she finds in the Boundarylands is different than the horror stories she’s been told her whole life. Life is feral and wild, but it’s calls to her in a way she can’t refuse.
When Paige touches Kian’s body, everything changes, and in an instant she knows the Alpha beside her will either be her salvation or her doom.
KIAN is the first book in The Boundaryland Omegaverse, a hot new ABO romance series featuring knotting, heats, and possession. Wear gloves, cause this sh*t is hot.
Ever since she was little, Callie Rhodes' imagination has been landing her in trouble. From daydreaming about far off worlds in class, to escaping into the made up stories of her mind in the meeting room, she's been creating tales to take her away from the real world for as long as she can remember. Now she lives among the tall trees of Northern California, and has found a way to make a living off her fantasies.
Not the usual dark Omegaverse, it's lighter and fast. The story was easy, not complicated and action-packed. The characters were strong at the beginning but gradually I lost interest in them.
Meh. This is one of those filler books you read while searching for what you’re really looking for. The writing wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. Flat characters.
Aquí no había dulces besos... Sí Posesión alfa y mucho calor.
Además, hubo acción y eso es plus total ya que no todo era sexo.
En general, estuvo bien la historia.
Pero de nuevo, no me quedó nada sobre los personajes.
The only bad thing about loving Baby's book so much is that it sends me desperately searching for similar books. My search pulled up this series.
So in this world Alphas and Omegas are kept apart. Omegas are taught that Alphas are brainless animals who'd do a number of horrible things to them, as such no woman wants to end up in the Boundarylands where the Alphas live. The h witnessed her beta fiance murder someone, she goes to the police who prove to be working with him except one female officer who told her to go to the Boundarylands and find Kian. From there it's a rapid flight to their HEA. This was a very short read, the fiance causes some trouble, the h/H though both reluctant give in to the connection between them, we meet some secondary characters and get the set up for the next book. It wasn't a bad read but it felt like things were skimmed over, however I've already begun book 2
No cheating H had been with prostitutes and betas who ventured into the Boundarylands No OW drama h has a fiancè, he causes some drama as he was searching for her to kill her
OK. A lighter non-dark Omegaverse free on KU. Quick, easy read with an interesting take on the genre; the world was unique, but lacked any real depth. The characters are likeable, just flat. This might be good for someone wanted to dip a toe in the genre, but doesn't like the grit.
It’s not a bad read. Probably not a book I’d read again, but I did enjoy it. Very short story but it wasn’t a bad story to read.. This for an omegaverse story is not at all dark in nature like you’d normally read. Characters don’t go too in-depth and no real growth.. Overall I like the book, just not my favourite..
Haven't read too many omegaverse stories and I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about them. The concept that you have no choice whom you want is hard for me. The story is well written though and the world building, awesome. Super fast-paced and smexy. Will definitely be reading more!
Not good. The setup isn’t bad. The hero is not a rapist or anything and the heroine has a good reason to stay ECCEPT she can’t leave. I mean, she physically can’t leave.
She’s freaking out because she’s heard how Omegas become slaves to Alphas, he tells her that they’ve filled her head with lies, but the fact is .. they didn’t. Because when he tells her to leave and she’s scared as hell and WANTS to go she can’t move. His version of “comfort” is to basically explain to her how she’s helpless against her sexuality and his presence and that she’ll be begging for his cock, so he won’t need to rape her. Ummm… dude. Not cool.
It gets worse. Because after a bit she suddenly gets very ashamed of how scared she was because she realizes he also doesn’t have a choice. He can’t leave her either. She APOLOGIZES to him. Well, that might be fine for someone but to me that’s just like a really screwed up version of Stockholm syndrome or something. She’s sympathizing with her captor. He might not want to be but he acts like her captor. He barks at her and commands her and scares her with her reactions to him and then .. of course.. he fucks her. But she asked for it, you see. She touched him first. 🙄🙄🙄
You don’t hear him apologize. An apology from him would go a long way with me at that point.
So this is basically smut. Because all the other plot points aren’t a thing now and I have to look foreword to what? Her falling in love and succumbing to her basically inevitable mating? Umm no thanks. DNF:50%
I'll definitely be reading this series. This first one in the series is quick, dirty and fun. Not exactly a super original plot but entertaining nonetheless.
This was pretty good but kinda missed the mark on some things for me.
Spice? Great - loved it. Plot? Quick, fast paced, little rushed but when its a lil novella you gotta expect that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Romance? Kinda lackin! I need a strong emotional connection with my romance and this one had a strong physical connection right off the bat but like they didnt really get to know each other or anything before they were like “i would die for you”. I like totally get the whole alpha/omega physical reaction to each other which is fine whatever - but like they barely talked to one another and I just didnt really find me being invested in who they were as characters really. I wanted more of an emotional connection to match their physical connection and didnt really get that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This was exactly what I was in the mood for when I started it. I'm a big mood reader and sometimes I don't want this complicated plot. I'd like something pretty simple and straightforward. This was exactly that. An omega and alpha plotline that was a little different than what I've tried before. I don't usually like these kind because the MC is usually too controlling and the FMC doesn't stand up for herself. But I felt this wasn't intalust and the FMC didn't just rolled over. That being said, it still was FMC mets MC they have sex and it's over. But I thought the build was nice. The pacing was written well and the smut wasn't rushed. It held my attention the entire time and I'm looking forward to the next one.
3.5⭐s These books are so good when you're in a slump. Fast paced✅ Alpha who isn't an a**hole✅ Quick short comfort read✅ Omegaverse (knots 😏)✅ Good spice to plot balance✅
Edit-I've already read six books in the series and it's all so similar: a blonde omega every single time and an alpha that lives off grid. Callie Rhodes really doesn't divert from this. And the author hardly builds them a relationship.
Original- A fun one time short read, 15 chapters. When I started reading the book, I had to go to the author's page to make sure I haven't read this book before. It's very similar to the first Boundarylands book I read long ago, (book 7). I have a feeling they're all going to be very similar. I recommend spacing out the series and not reading the books one after the other.
I think this might be great for people in a reading slump and who need something easy to read. The writing style is simple, and the world-building isn’t complicated. It might be “weird” if you’ve never heard of omegaverse before, though. I liked it, but it was nothing to fangirl about.

This was a really quick read and something that definitely introduces someone into this type of supernatural romance Our main character switched her thoughts so fast on me and that’s one of the main problems I had cuz one minute she hates him the next she wants to get down and dirty right then and there Other then that this was a sweet and fast read when it came to read an omega verse book 👀 the last time I read anything remotely like this was in my Wattpad days 😂
If you want a short story with hot Alphas then read this series now! Each story features a new Alpha and how his Omega ends up in the Boundarylands.
Each story can be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading them in order because you get to know the other Alphas before they meet there mate.
For such a short story, I felt like there was too much storytelling in it (if that makes sense) and not enough character development. I feel like I didn't have time to get to know the characters well. I wasn't a fan of Paige from what little I knew of her. There were some typos as well which was a bit of a distraction. On to book 2.
I enjoyed it. It is slightly on the fluffy side, so a great introduction to Omegaverse. The intimate scenes are steamy. All in all I enjoyed this book and I like the world building. It kept me captivated. I will definitely continue the series. :)
This was a short insta lust story and the first book of a series. Men with animalistic tendencies called Alphas live in and area called the Boundarylands far from people. Ordinary people are called Betas. Girls are taught to stay far away from the Boundarylands in case they are Omegas, the only women who can breed with the Alphas.
Paige is on the run from her murdering boyfriend when a female cop tells her to go to the Boundaryland and ask for a man names Kian who will protect her. As soon as she and Kian touch there is an instant attraction. There's a bit of cave man behavior and denial on Paige's part. Neither one can resist the sexual attraction or having sex when Paige goes into 'heat'.
Kian had exactly what I wanted when picking it up; something soft that you could just glide through and didn't have to think too much about, and it had a happy ending, which was what I was after. However, there were a lot of time skips and there were a lot of parts of the plot that just jumped with no form of indication, I would have loved maybe another fifty pages just so things could have been stretched out and developed a little more? I won't be continuing the series due to that reason, as it does seem from reviews that each book follows that format, but I did enjoy Kian and Paige's story. I'd definitely recommend it if you're just looking for something light to pick up.
A filler book between the bigger ones that was easy to read.
POV: 3rd person. SERIES or STANDALONE: 1st in series, can be read as a standalone. TROPES: M/F adult, omegaverse, mates romance. SIZE: 140 (last page) Kindle pages. CHARACTERS: Kian & Paige (mid-late 20s)
When Paige witnesses her fiancé murder a man in cold blood she runs for her life and right into the protective arms of Kian, an Alpha living in the Boundarylands.
This was a fast paced, kinda sweet introduction into a rather tame omega verse. The alphas live outside of normal society and the betas are taught in school that they are beasts of men who kidnap, rape and murder any omega to come their way.
The sex was kind of meh, I was expecting something more intense but these two spent more time feeling sorry for themselves being tied to a physiological fate than learning anything about each other to have any sort of impact.
Overall this was okay for a lust at first sight, HEA prn.
Absolutely brilliant idea. Such an interesting plot base for this series. I’m enamored already! This is 3rd person but done so well. It’s not clunky or awkward at all. I love Omegaverse so much and this was great! 5/5⭐️ 3/5🌶🔥
4.5⭐️ It was a light, superficial story. Since there are so many books in this series, I am hoping the stories build on each other. No real angst and a HEA are what I needed and this book delivered. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥/5
It’s fast and light to read. A fun omegaverse. Not really original but fun enough. I especially enjoyed the distopian part. The characters started of strong and interesting, I wished we had a bit more of that. More development of them and the relationship.
