A book on architecture in Saigon and Cho Lon. Fun to read about the city you live in. A few parts felt like they diverged from the main topic (there's a whole section about Gandhi and how his philosophy influenced revolution in Vietnam, which was interesting and loosely related to the former presence of Indian people in the city, but seemed a little random to me?). Anyway, enjoyed it. Some parts a little hard for me to understand at my level, but maybe I'll revisit when I'm stronger at reading.
