I was on the cusp of turning the college course that I created into a book.
Then, Write a Must-Read turned up on my phone. And for me, that book really was a Must-Read. As a result of reading it, I have experienced a series of ephinies. I do want to lead my readers down the path to self-actualization. I know my readers because I have been invited to speak to them and wound up adopting all of them. But I especially appreciate AJ's splash-of-cold-water-in-the-face reality check about who will market the book. Me. Gulp. So, I'm half flying to the moon and half hiding under the covers. I have run out of excuses not to write the book that's straining at the bit to gallop onto the page. But I'm quivering with fear about that dirty word, "sales". Stay tuned for the next riveting episode ...

If you’re writing non-fiction you need to read this book. It’s not a book on writing per se. (There are other books for that.) It’s a book on how to put your book together before you write and how to edit your manuscript after you’ve written. It’s clear and concise and it always puts the reader first. It will help you do the same.

A Must Read
Very well laid out book on producing a book that can change lives. I have a new book idea. And I want it to change lives for the better. I need to get started it's going to take awhile. There is no easy button her, just impactful work.

Honestly, one of the best craft books I've ever read. It's meant for non-fiction writers, but I think storytellers of all kinds can benefit from this perspective.
