Tears of the Siren #4

Snapped Strings

I was going to give him a performance he’d never forget.

With our plans set to travel to the Demonic realm, my thoughts turn to the torture I endured while imprisoned in Broken House, and I find myself fearing that the experience will be a trip down nightmare lane.

What I find instead is a complex, beautiful realm that in a matter of days draws out of me a determination and strength to defend it. To fight for it. To fight for my family, the freedom I finally have, and the destruction of the man tainting the entire realm: Mr. Black.

With my bonded at my side, I’m finding that I not only have the strength to heal but to fight for what I want…even if it means combating the creatures that plan on consuming our universe.

First things first though—It was time to break Broken House.

Note from Author: The Tears of the Siren series will feature characters from both the Reborn series and Descendant series. It will not be necessary to read either of those to understand the plot, however, they do intertwine in a way that enhances the universe. Don’t worry, no spoilers are present!

I can't praise this series up enough and with every book that comes out it just keeps getting better and better. I've loved the dynamic between Lorcan and her guys - Dean, Cash, Rhett, Desmond, Adrian and the inclusion of Draven. They are the perfect mix of possessive and fun. It was nice to get a read a bit about Desmond's family just to add some background for him. I think it was kinda needed. It helped Lorcan face her demons which meant her going back to Broken House and confronting Mr Black.

Lots of action packed tension combined with plenty of steaminess thrown in too. I've just finished reading this book and I'm in need of my next fix so bring on book 5

I feel like I was waiting forever for this book. I was not disappointed. Lorcan is back, fighting both figurative and literal demons. She and her men go to the Demon Realm to prepare for and to take on Mr. Black. We find out more as well about the dark ones that are coming for all the realms. Character relationships are developing and Lorcan is becoming sure in her feelings. This book fits beautifully into the greater Hordeverse, especially with the Descendants series by the same author. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

I've only just gotten into the Tears of A Siren series but love fell in love with the story from book one. The series continues with the fourth book, Snapped Strings, and it was amazing like I knew it would be.

Lorcan has her moments of PTSD but she's doing a lot better now. Lor has always been self-aware and she continues doing a good job of being introspective proving she knows herself fairly well, better than most. Now she's realizing that she deserves the love the guys give her and can express her feelings as well. Lor has gone through so much and she's a stronger person for it. For someone who was hellbent on self-destruction she now sees a lot of things in a positive light but with a sassy twist. Lorcan has to be one of my favorite characters.

I love Lorcan's guys, I've said that from the beginning but with each book that feeling grows more. Her guys are protective, possessive, and obsessive and I'm here for it. Best of all Lorcan is the center of their world and they prove it all the time. This book takes place in his realm and he is very much a king in this book but in wonderfully surprising ways. Desi is everything, the man is simultaneously as adorable as a puppy and the literal incarnation of sex, I love his commitment to Lor is swoon-worthy. Opposite of that, is Zander who is frustrating as heck. The man has deep feelings but feels unworthy and is pushing Lor away but the attraction is too strong. I can't wait for them to finally get their crap together. The most surprising is the insight into Draven's past, he's the less reactive mate and I enjoyed getting to know him better.

Sinclair did some major world-building in this one. I love the details we got of the demonic realm, about the seven kingdoms and the creatures that reside there and their rulers. The demonic realm isn't evil (that was just black and his followers) they seen more quirky than anything and are very unique supernaturals. Each type was represented and I think would make an interesting story all on their own. The spin-off possibilities are epic. Desi's kingdom was lovely and his parents are great, no wonder Desi turned out as well as he did. Of course, problems pop up, from the Kingdom of Pain (Black's territory) to learning new powers and the dark ones are becoming an increasingly dangerous issue. However, Lor and the guys handle it like they do everything, head-on. I will say that my heart was most definitely beating out of my chest for a few chapters.

Snapped Strings was fantastic, I love disappearing into Lorcan's story. The mystery and adventure, the found family and swoony romance, it's a fascinating unique story that has intense moments and the characters I easily connect to and filled with the fantastical elements I love. Snapped Strings had a dramatic ending that has me dying to see what the next book has in store for Lorcan and the guys.

This is book 4 in Lorcan’s series and it packs a big emotional punch, although it’s not as dark as other books have been. While there is still plenty of conflict and intrigue, there is a slightly more optimistic feel to this story, overall. Lorcan is learning about her abilities and how she can use them to get vengeance on a particular enemy. She is also learning to lean on her guardians/mates more and her relationships are developing as she grows closer to each man.

For a larger harem, this series does a remarkable job of giving each mate quality time with Lorcan on the page. It’s still fairly slow-medium burn, but Lorcan and her mates spend time together outside of the bedroom, and this book brings the sweet romance to an otherwise dark and dramatic plot.

We get to see more of the incredible world-building and meet some new characters - both friendly and not. This is not the last book in the series and it does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, but it’s not as brutal as some. I’m very excited to see where the story is going next!

I was so excited that this book finally came out. I have always had a soft spot for the broken Lorcan. Lorcan and her guys go to the demonic realm in this book to train to be a siren as well as meet Desi’s family. Can’t forget that Mr Black is still out there looking for Lorcan also. I loved seeing how far Lorcan is coming with her relationships. She is finally healing and it’s so lovely to see!

Drama, desires and demons!
This books got a lot going and poor Lorcan and her harem just can’t seem to catch their breath from thing to another 🙈
Lorcan finds herself back in the demonic realm, meeting Desi’s parents but also searching for a safe place to train as her true form needs to be kept under wraps, and also escaping the stalker! Yet she never expected that she would have to get to grips with her powers so quickly as to when taking on her old captor….can Lorcan finally free herself of some demons and those still trapped at Broken House?!?! 😬
Apart from the gripping storyline, what I really enjoyed in this fourth book is Lorcan’s self development, when we first met her she believed she was a danger and unloveable but with the affection and love of her six bonded she is slowly coming round to believing that what they have is real, not just a reflection of their desires 🥰 it also helps that her three large cat shifters Dean, Rhett and Cash have loved her forever and consistently remind her of this; her demon king lovers Desi and Draven would make her the Queen of all they can give and her Elvin nightmare king Adriel is constantly in her corner! Oh and there’s also her tutor Draven where things mayyyy be developing 😁They’re all madly possessive as well 😍
There’s also the wider storyline of the dark ones that develops and that ending leaves it all open for the next one 😮😮

Snapped Strings is the fourth installment in the Tears of the Siren series by M. Sinclair. This series is incredible and Lorcan’s journey continues along with her six swoon-worthy men. M. Sinclair has a unique ability to develop complex characters and weave an intricate world that captivates readers. She is absolutely one of my favorite paranormal romance authors!

There is so much action, adventure, suspense, danger, twists, romance, and steam in this book. I don’t even know where to begin! I was on the edge of my seat the entire book and kept thinking “can’t Lorcan and her guys catch a dang break???” Never a dull moment!

Lorcan connects on a deeper emotional level with each man in her harem. I’m so glad each guy is getting quality time with her because it’s so easy for there to be a couple get lost in the mix with a harem so large. It’s also important that they develop a bond outside of the bedroom and learn more about each other. The steam however is definitely very-much enjoyed and *chefs kiss* top tier.

I’m so glad there will be at least 2 more installments in this series. I feel like there could be even more and maybe even spin-offs. I’m already counting down until the fifth book drops!!!

Tropes: Dark paranormal romance, reverse harem, sirens, demons, hell, famous heroine
Heat: 4/5

Omg! Can Lorcan and her harem freaking catch a break!! She finally escapes the Broken House but has to journey to the demonic realm to find answers and meet Desimond’s family. The relationship with Lorcan and her men continue to flourish with all of them discussing the future as well as L-O-V-E and I am here for it. I love how the guys see Lorcan. How self-less she is even with the circumstances she grew up in and then continues to get dragged in with demons. As a forbidden siren her desire to please people have caused her so much pain and worse distanced herself from her mates because she believes the love is false. My heart aches for Lorcan and hopes that she’ll get her HEA. Desi and Ari our my two fave male characters in her harem and I love the this book flushes them and their history out more. Don’t even get me started on her fallen Angel Draven. If you love monsters, angels, sirens, and shifters this book has it all. A mix of forbidden love, 2nd chances, and healing. Just be prepared for the cliffhanger cuz it’s a doozie! We learn more about the cosmos and Lorcan’s pull to the stars but I cannot wait to see where M.Sinclair brings the story! Must read 100%!

Escaping Broken House had been draining to body and soul. Even the wonder of finding another mate could only remove so much of the sting.

They'd been back in Arizona only a matter of days when Lorcan's stalker[s] had upped their game, driving her further into exhaustion and overload. The decision to just end the plan to finish Earth realm high school would have lightened her load, had she not encountered another long-lost siren. But hey - every so often you just have to take names and rip out spines, right?

Now, after far too little time to rest and regroup, Lorcan and her mates must travel back to the Demonic Realms, to meet parents and tear Broken House down on top of Mr. Black's bleeding, spineless carcass. If only it were going to be that easy!

M. Sinclair's latest chapter to Lorcan's story has been WELL worth the wait!! Skillfully written to ensnare the reader within a matter of paragraphs, my sole disappointment has been that I read it too fast and now I just gotta wait for the next. Thankfully, I have a library full of other Horde tales from M. Sinclair to occupy the time until then. 🖤 Here's to the Union of Love and Madness!

Wow! From book 1 to now book 4 I fall deeper and deeper in love with this series. We see so much growth from Lorcan since book 1 started. I really did love her even when she was going through her stages of drugs and emotionless times. She was still an amazing lady with a strong, stunning personality. The guys are amazing as well. I love how caring and protective they are of Lorcan, even if she can save herself.

M. Sinclair is a magnificent author who pulls you into her stories and doesn’t let go. The depth of her writing has you on a journey alongside each and every character she brings to life. When reading Snapped Strings this is no different. Lorcan and the guys become like well loved friends or family members. This story is packed full of action, drama, suspense and of course there are some sexy scenes. The descriptions are stunningly, radiant. This allows me to easily picture what is happening throughout the story. The ending of this book definitely ends in a major cliffhanger. This definitely a must read and doesn’t disappoint. I absolutely can’t wait to see what happens next.

"Tears of the Siren" is such an amazing series, I'm honestly hoping it will never end. This series started off as a favorite of mine because of all the emotions, but it gradually switched to my complete adoration for the world building. Every new book explores a different part of the world this author created and I love it all; it's original, surprising and painted in such a vivid way I can almost see myself walking amonst them. So even though I want Lorcan and her men to find their happy ever after at some point, I can't stop looking forward to the next part in the series every time I'm finished with the newest book.

I wouldn't know how to pick favorites among these characters; they all have something that makes them unique and interesting, and I enjoy the different dynamics between them all. I'm not always a fan of bigger harems, but it works for this series, and I can't wait to see more of them in the next book. I highly recommend this series! It's definitely one of my favorites at the moment.

I've missed Lorcan and her guys! I'm so happy we got to jump back into their world. We know by now that their journey is not going to be easy but that HEA will be worth it when they finally get it.

I love that her guys are helping make her whole, our girl has been through so much. And I love that the guys see Lorcan for how precious she is, and the need to protect her. Plus, to be able to focus on her life and her mates, and realizing that they aren't going anywhere. She's also learning how to channel her Siren powers, and become stronger.

This series has so much going on between having a Siren as our FMC, we also get angels, monsters, and shifters. We get a little bit of everything, don't forget forbidden love, healing and second chances. We get to learn a bit more, and quite possibly we may see some other characters from other books 😉 ? Who knows where M Sinclair will take us, the door is open to so many possibilites!

It’s been quite awhile since I read the first few books of the series so I had to reread them in anticipation for this release. I’m so glad I did because now I remember how much I enjoyed the books when I first read them.

M Sinclair excels with world-building and this series is no different. I found myself completely lost to the world and its stories, the spin-off opportunity are endless.

For a decent sized harem, there is a good amount of time spent with the FMC and each of the men is easily distinguishable. I actually found myself a fan of different guys this time compared to the first time I read, just goes to show how our tastes can change over time.

I’ve already checked to see when the next installment is going to be released and I’m so happy that’s it’s much sooner than I anticipated. The journey has not been easy and these characters deserve their HEA. Two more books to go so I can only imagine what will happen next.

Angels, demons, monsters, shifters oh my!

The fourth book in the Tears of the Siren series, Snapped Strings was a fabulous continuation in this series by M. Sinclair featuring Lorcan and her fabulous guys!

In this story we find ourselves back in the demonic realm with Lorcan facing her demons…quite literally…With Mr. Black back in Broken House. Be wise of course nothing is ever easy for Lorcan and her men!!! And while we get answers to some much anticipated answers, we now have even more we need solved!
And after being through so much in her life, Lorcan deserves a chance at happiness and I love that her guys are there to make sure that happens and that they compete her so much! And watching her come in to her own with her siren powers was perfection!!!

Overall if you love string heroines that fight for their own bit of happiness with several Brie goes me—this is the one for you!

I missed Lorcan and her guys, but damn it was worth the wait! The paranormal aspects of this world freaking blow my mind. The intersecting series that are all set in this same "world" (I mean, honestly it's a total universe now) are all amazing and different, so different from each other, I just love it. Lorcan is a totally unique heroine, she is beautiful, talented, powerful and still coming into her mystical cosmic powers. I love the Bonds between her and her guys, their love and adoration and possessiveness (growly heroes are so so perfect) but they still give her space to be her, to save herself and to HAVE her own feelings. Lorcan is quite dark and depression definitely haunts her, but the way she rises is magnificent. I am cheering on the siren/siren pairing too, I'd anyone cares! Long live Lorcan and her HOT Kings (they're all Kings of her heart)

So glad to be back with sassy Lorcan and her sexy, alpha mates! This one started right where the last book left off after escaping Broken House. They decided to travel to The Demonic Realm to try to hide from Mr Black, but while there they realized they may need to act against him sooner than they thought. Now, adding all that to Lorcan trying to learn how to control her powers and also trying to find a way to defeat dark ones, and you have more than enough things going on. But even so, I was still able to enjoy watching their relationships continue to grow individually, as well as as a group, and seeing how they all interact and care for one another throughout everything going on. Not to mention the meeting of more magical beings, and also learning more about Lorcan and her mates backgrounds. Such a good addition to the series and I can’t wait for the next book!

Boy did it feel good to jump back into Lorcan’s world. Once again, Lorcan and her mens lives are never dull and without danger. Seeing Lorcan and her men go back to the Demonic Realm after what happened to Lorcan, you can expect some hesitancy. But being able to be in Desmond’s kingdom with his kind parents and people it offered some comfort and support. But as one can expect, it’s never quiet for long. Seeing Lorcan trust in herself, her abilities, and steeped in her love for those she cares for, it was powerful to see her face down her foe. I never could have expected how that would all go down, but man was it a sight. Lorcan is so powerful and brave, it was beautiful to see. And to then see how everyone comes together and rebuilds…brilliant!
I absolutely LOVED this book! And with that ending and just all around wanting to know what happens next, I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book!

All of M. Sinclair’s characters are so rich in how she creates them and the worlds they inhabit. Lorcan and her men are no exception. Your heart hurts when hers hurts, you feel the possessiveness of her men. You cheer for their success and ache for their pain. Snapped Strings takes place back in the demonic realm with Lorcan having to again face the sadistic Mr. Black. He oozes toxicity and the pain he causes is biting. For Lorcan being back in Broken House means facing Mr. Black and the horrors she endured at his hands. Snapped Strings sets us up for the next challenges that Lorcan and her men will face. We learned much but more questions come up. I’m sure good will triumph over evil but the journey there is definitely a challenging one.

Join Lorcan and her men on yet another hurdle to cross in their lives. The saying one door closes another opens rings true in this series it just feels its one thing after another for them. However even though their lives are Jam packed they still appreciate the small moments they get with one another I love the chemistry with Lorcan and her men.....and by the sounds of it there may be a new romance blooming? I loved learning more about all the other kingdom aswell I'm also so excited to find out what happens in the next book.

M Sinclair is just the best for knowing how to keep you in the edge of your seat and really makes you feel like your not just reading the story but your a part of it.

Lorcan has too many battles that need to be fought. From her stalker, Mr Black and the Dark Ones. At least her guys are there to help and support her. Zander has joined Lorcan to teach her powers of the siren before it’s too late.
I love her guys especially Mr Possessive Dean, possessive kitty. Although her other kitty cats are just as sweet. And I love how they are making her whole, Lorcan broken was hard to read.
I loved this book and I’m super curious to see where it ties into the next one, I have suspicions that it’s going to link into the other series now.

This story follows right on from the previous book, with Lorcan and the men heading to the demonic realm. Their stay is short-lived however, as Mr Black and attempting to break Broken House takes priority.

I am really enjoying this series. It's great that Lorcan continues to grow with each book, her outlook on life has changed so much from the beginning. Her relationships continue to evolve (there were a few sweet one-on-one moments with some of the guys in this one) as does her knowledge of the universe and the different realms.

This book had some significant events take place, but there is SO much still to come. Can't wait!

I love this series so much!!!

Snapped Strings is book #4 in the Tears of the Siren series. Its a paranormal reverse harem romance.

Lorcan and her guys are AMAZING!!

This whole series blows me away!!! Lorcan and her guys go thru so much and have to deal with so much. In this book, they are in the Demonic Realm, they have to face off with Mr Black, plus her stalker and she is learning her siren powers. Basically, they have a lot on their plates 😂

I adore her guys and how much they love and care for their girl.

I can't wait for more!!!

I know this is super vague, you just have to read it for yourself!!!

Set Lorcan up to exceed her men’s expectations

Lorcan, a modeling and music sensation, and her six men, Dean, Rhett, Cash, Desmond, Adriel, and Draven have settled into their new grouping after the events in Neon Drops. As the story progresses a trip brings anxieties, she must learn about different societies, and getting used to a different environment may mean accepting different varieties. M. Sinclair set Lorcan up to exceed her men’s expectations in Snapped Strings. Lorcan may have some surprises left in both her personal relationships and her preparation for the final battle.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

Flawless!

Steam, Sweetness, Action, and a touch of Revenge: this book has it all! I am absolutely floored by the depth and breadth of the world this author has created in this universe! She has spun several incredibly well plotted stores that all beautifully intertwine!

Lorcan is fun to watch in this series, as she explores her strength and really begins to embrace her power and potential! Zander is a delightful new addition to the group—and I absolutely can’t wait to see where this heads next!

This author can spin a story like no other—and her level of commitment to her characters shows through in every word! You won’t want to miss this incredible series!

I love everything about this latest installment of Lorcan’s story! She’s made so much progress both personally and romantically. The dynamic between all the men can be tricky, but always delicious with those Alphaholes. The threat of the dark ones seems to be getting ever more real and closer but Broken House and Mr. Black need to be addressed as well. I loved the crossover with Nova and her men, and also the shout outs for Maya, Vegas and Grey. Lorcan is constantly amazing me with her resilience and also with wanting what’s best for everyone, especially after being able to read peoples thoughts and desires. I can’t wait to read the next book and find out how this series gets wrapped up!

Hello darkness my old friend…

Lorcan is BACK!! Out of every M. Sinclair series I always come back Lorcan and her men, the darkness of her storyline lures me in every time…

Snapped Strings gives us everything we were craving! Romance, spice, danger, darkness, mystery, excitement, and action. The plot is heating up even more in regards to the dark ones we’ve learned about in previous books and I can’t wait to see how our girl will handle it all!! If you’re just stumbling upon this series do yourself a favor and start at the beginning and then dive into the wonderfully psycho and steamy universe that M. Sinclair has masterfully created!

The fourth book of the Tears of the Siren series takes off pretty much where book three left off. I do love this series, it's definitely an interesting take on sirens for sure. Lorcan has been to Hell and back quick literally. She's gone from quite an unfeeling, miserable character to someone who is loved and cherished and loves others back even if she finds it hard to express her feelings sometimes.

There's a lot going on as Lorcan learns from the help of Zander to use her powers, and hopefully, take out a certain evil someone. There are a few twists and turns along the way, can't wait to see where it goes in the next one.

The Tears of the Siren series continues with book four. Lorcan and her guys journey progresses when she literally has to face her own demons. Going to the demonic realm to face Mr. Black. Lorcan is strong, brave, determined and coming into her powers to help defeat him.
Lorcan and her mates bonds are growing and strengthening. I love how Dean, Rhett, Desmond, Cash, Adriel and Draven are doing their best to help and support her. Everyone is coming together and rebuilding. I have questions that I need answers to. The cliffhanger was rough and I want to know what happens next. The next book in this series can’t come out fast enough.
