This series, the chronicles of the Flow of Power, came into being from my love of the two genres, science fiction & epic fantasy, and a strong desire to add elements of science into magic and vice versa. The two go well together. Some sciences seem magical and most magic would seem to have science fact behind it in order for it to work well.

An epic, thrilling fantasy adventure with interesting, diverse characters, plot twists, cool powers, crazy-looking monsters, and a mysterious new world. The writing style was a little complex for me-a non-native English speaker-so reading it took a little longer than normally. But I guess, my vocabulary is expanding. I truly enjoyed this series and will definitely continue with the rest of the series. Recommend!

I got nine tenths of the way through this book before I finally gave up. It has a lot of good points but is overcomplicated in the extreme and much of what people do is unclear. I may go back and finish it but at the moment I have lost the will to live.
