Kanae Toyomi is an effeminate 18 year old guy fresh out of high school, who uses his soft features and crossdresses to make extra money on the side. One night, through a series of accidents, he is mistakenly sent into a fantasy world with RPG elements.
The problem?
He is sent there as a succubus, and the only way to level up might have piqued his curiosity.
Although Kanae has been genderswapped, he will be using male pronouns for the first volume having yet fully accepted the change.
Kanae an 18 year old student gets accidentally reincarnated as a monster race. More specificly a Succubus. Now He/She has to deal with survival in a new unfamiliar world, but also with her new urges and abilities.
Overall this is a lighthearted fluffy story without much drama or tension. With the main focus on slice-of-life and a bit of adventure/ combat this is a fun novel. Characters, scenario's and sometimes the setting itself are a bit silly. In general this is your classical Lit-RPG setting, but with a horny succubus thrown in. The sexy bits are quite frequent, but more often silly-sexy than actually sexy.
What kept me from finishing this book isn't actually wrong with the book itself. For the most part the lighthearted nature of the story an the anime inspired silly/ sexy bits just didn't appeal to me. In short a compatibility issue not anything wrong with the book itself.
DNF at 79% (In the future I may update this review. Should I ever finish this book)
The only issue is the editing. Not sure if it’s a translation issue or just not enough editors, but there are places where a sentence ends after a couple words, lots of typos, etc. If they fix those, I would probably give it a 5 because of laughs were so good.
This is the story you want to read when anime is disappointing and adult stuff has no plot. It is fun it is raunchy it is glorious the deus ex machina that occur in isekais are set up nicely beforehand so they don't feel so much like deus ex machina just the result of good networking and friends. This was a thoroughly enjoyable read.
I've read this in a span of 24 hours of so I enjoyed it immensely. I sincerely hope there's a sequel to this book Turn on the light in tales of this daring Damsel And her Debauchery.
