This collection of needlework pamphlets (I think from Coates and Clarks) was originally published in 1958. The current edition contains some updated material that doesn't really add to the value of the book, but doesn't hurt it, either. This book covers the basics in a variety of techniques including sewing, crochet, knitting, embroidery, needlepoint, bobbin lace, needle lace and more.
An invaluable reference for any seamstress or crafter!
