This was truly an excellent story! I was completely absorbed right from the very first page until the very end! A good couple of main female characters, nicely balanced & developed, carried the storyline with a good mix of sci fi & romance, it was an incredible adventure! Great ideas, well written, I really can't recommend it enough, I will for sure look for more by this author! You are in for a treat!
Oh my I wasn't expecting so much of this series! I am so glad that I decided to read this post apocalyptic series even though it isn't the norm for me. I did lose some sleep because I couldn't wait to finish it. Quite a few times I fell asleep with the eBook in my hand, as I do most of my reading at night once my kiddos are in bed. Anyways, this series starts out with Cam. The first two books are in his point of view. The third book switches from his point of view to that of his wife's (Freyja). Then books four and five are in her view. But book six is in Caitlin's point of view. She is one of the children that grew up on Lewis. She and her sister Seraphine are fed up with their lives. As their lives have been calculated since before birth they long for something different. More adventure. They were created for the sole purpose of ensuring the survival of the human race. A virus in the water killed the world. The plants, the animals, and most of the humans. Scientist quickly came up with a plan to place biodomes around the world to try and save the human race (read more in book 1). There was a very lengthy test to pick candidates to live while everyone else perished. About 300 people were in each dome. Some domes connect, but that's a whole thing (again read the rest of the series for all that craziness!) itself. Most domes were on the coast or on islands, but there were a few inland as well. Scientist resided in two of the domes, whereas the rest of the selected people were spread out in the other domes. Back to the girls. Being immune children who's purpose is to save the human race, there is a lot of pressure on them. Ordered around and everything planned for them gets old fast. Being 21 with a special role to live up to, but what if you reject your sole purpose? You've been specifically designed for a reason, but you don't care. Cait and Sera endanger not only themselves but everyone they love when they run off. Embarking on a very dangerous and yet thrilling journey, they reactivate the Nexus (read the other books for more info on that too!! Just read the set man!!) and discover new underwater worlds they never new existed. Will this journey end up killing one or both of them? What about their loved ones? Will they survive through these once again hard times. Dangerous people in a dangerous world that you know nothing about isn't want these girls thought about, but now they must face that and more! They have opened up their home to invasion by struggling communities and they have to stay alive long enough to contact their family. Can they even get back home? What will they have to sacrifice in order to make it back? I can't wait for the author to write more once rested! This is such a wonderful series!! If you read this set you HAVE to read it in order. You could read this one as a stand alone, BUT you get so much information in the others that you will probably kick yourself for it. Trust me, you want to read them all! I will be not so patiently waiting for more!!!
T.S. Simons’ The 45th Parallel is a gripping and thought-provoking introduction to the Antipodes series, blending dystopian science fiction with emotional depth and ethical complexity. Set in a world ravaged by a devastating virus, this novel explores themes of destiny, rebellion, and the power of choice, all through the lens of two compelling protagonists.
Caitlin and Seraphine, immune children engineered by the remnants of a crumbled regime, carry the weight of humanity’s survival on their shoulders. Born to repopulate and sustain the few surviving communities on Earth, their lives are steeped in purpose—but it’s a purpose they didn’t choose. Simons deftly captures their internal conflict as they wrestle with their predestined roles and begin to question whether survival at all costs is worth sacrificing their autonomy and dreams.
The world-building is exceptional, presenting a post-apocalyptic Earth that feels both bleak and eerily plausible. The isolation of the surviving communities contrasts starkly with the futuristic technology of the Nexus, which Caitlin and Seraphine reactivate to venture beyond their known world. The Nexus becomes a symbol of discovery and danger, driving the plot forward with thrilling unpredictability.
The narrative balances action-packed sequences with introspection, keeping readers engaged while allowing space for deeper themes to emerge. Caitlin and Seraphine’s journey through new and perilous worlds is not only a literal adventure but also a metaphorical exploration of identity, choice, and what it means to live for oneself versus a collective purpose. Their decisions, while noble, often have devastating consequences, raising moral questions about duty and the value of individual freedom in a survivalist society.
Simons’ characters are richly drawn. Caitlin’s intelligence and resourcefulness complement Seraphine’s boldness, making their bond believable and compelling. Their courage in the face of uncertainty makes them relatable protagonists, even as they grapple with extraordinary circumstances. The supporting cast is equally well-developed, adding depth to the communities they leave behind and those they encounter.
The stakes are high throughout the novel, with Simons skillfully building tension and introducing twists that keep readers guessing. The danger isn’t only external—Caitlin and Seraphine’s choices ripple through their communities, endangering the people they love and testing the strength of their relationships. These emotional undercurrents add weight to the story’s more action-driven moments.
Ultimately, The 45th Parallel is as much about humanity’s capacity for hope and resilience as it is about survival. T.S. Simons has crafted a richly imagined world and a story that challenges readers to consider the balance between duty and desire, freedom and responsibility. Fans of speculative fiction and dystopian adventures will find this novel an engrossing and satisfying read, and a strong foundation for the rest of the Antipodes series.
Caitlin and Seraphine have grown up on the island of Lewis with their family, but they are not just your usual girls, they live under a dome which protects their families from the infected water which surrounds them, they just happen to be immune to the virus and are the future of humanity. The two girls are intelligent and are always getting themselves into some sort of trouble and the according punishments when they are caught, but all they want to do is escape their structured and calculated lives, they want their freedom and to forget their responsibilities, just like anyone their age would.
One day things haven’t exactly gone to plan for the two and so they decide to up sticks and leave in the middle of the night and escape the problems which they have caused, again, so they decide to use their technical skills to travel somewhere new. They have decided it is about time that the Nexus is reactivated, it has been a long time since anyone used it and for good reason, but now that they have figured out how to do it, they think that they are onto a good thing, but they didn’t bank on nature throwing a wrench in.
As they go through the Nexus, they realise that they are not where they expected they would be, they cannot understand what has happened, or even where they are, but they decide to explore and if they can, leave and travel over land to their final destination, but what they discover as they try to leave is more dangerous than anything they have could have imagined and they are in a whole new world of trouble. Can Cait and Sera figure out what has happened and what both the near and far future holds for them, or will it all come crashing down around them? This is an action packed epic sci-fi adventure where nothing is as it seems and twists and turns will keep you guessing throughout while discoveries are made and secrets are revealed in this unmissable and immersive world the author has created.
Caitlin and Seraphine are fed up with their lives being ordered around and planned for them. They long for adventure! One way to get to an adventure faster is to reactivate the Nexus that their parents shut down fourteen years ago. Imagine their surprise when they do such and then find themselves in a completely different community; one they never even knew of existing. They quickly learn that there are more communities like the one they landed in, and they are all underwater. While some of the communities have thrived as best they can, other communities have become more militaristic in their pursuit to stay alive. All of the lessons that they have learned over the years, be it by schooling or punishment, serves them in their very real situation of trying to stay alive long enough to contact home. Can they get back home at all? Or will they have opened up home to invasion by the communities that are struggling to survive? Will there even be a home to return to?
This was a fascinating read for me! Having read this series from the beginning, it was fun to see the girls' point of view on how they saw things transpire. The book is from Caitlin's point of view, and she is a 21-year-old struggling to come to grips with what it means for her to have a "special role" to fulfill in order for mankind to even have the possibility of living outside the domes and underwater communities. I think the author caught her angst of wanting to be on her own, but guilt at how she snuck around, and also leading her sister into danger. It was interesting to find out there were whole new communities and their struggles; seeing how they chose to deal with dwindling resources. While some exceeded expectations, other grew hostile and guarded.
I am looking forward to seeing the next installment in this series and what the author adds next!
The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes Series. This book follows many of the children of the individuals from the first five books in the series, but the main focus is on Caitlin and Seraphine. They were born with a specific goal in mind of repopulating the community and keep it immune from disease. Cait and Sera have been told all of their lives that is their destiny to do so but they want more from life than to breed and populate the community. They want adventure and choose to reactivate the Nexus in search of new communities and to see what else is out there. In doing so they get more than they bargained for and are suddenly swept up in events beyond their wildest imagination.
Cait and Sera find themselves in an underwater community where strict rules are in place to prevent overpopulation. The community is ruled with an iron fist and outsiders are forbidden. Cait and Sera do their best to remain hidden until they are able to travel back but one small mistake ends with them getting caught. Will they be able to escape back to the safety of their own community before it is too late?
This book was fantastic and I enjoyed how the author chose to tell the story of the children from the inhabitants of the community of Lewis. The characters were lovable, and the setting was an interesting spin to the story. Cait and Sera were strong willed, independent, feisty, and smart young ladies. All traits that they clearly inherited from their parents. The underwater community was a fascinating aspect to the story, and I enjoyed reading about how it worked. This entire series is a must read and I highly recommend it! You will find mystery, action, suspense, intrigue, love, romance, loss, and even murder. I highly recommend!
In the next installment of Antipodes, Caitlin and Seraphine are sisters who were created to be immune to the deadly protozoa that has ravaged the earth. Now adults, they struggle to find a place where they feel like they belong. Between causing men to get into a fight over one of them and illegally travelling between communities, the sisters are on a downward spiral. When they reactivate the Nexus to explore other communities, their luck only gets worse. When they meant to land on August Island, they land on an unknown community. A community they later find to be hostile. The hostile community finds them, and they are captured. Will Caitlin and Seraphine be able to escape? Do they ever get back to their family? Pick up a copy of The 45th Parallel and follow the sisters through peril. T.S. Simons does not disappoint. I loved this book just as much as the others. The characters and their feelings are relatable. You can feel right along with them and envision their struggles and journey. I highly suggest reading the other books in the series prior to reading this one, although you could probably get by with just reading this one. T.S. Simons does a good job at providing the reader with necessary information from previous installments, but you will be missing some of the backstory. The Antipodes series has an amazing storyline, full of interesting events and relatable characters. The 45th Parallel is no different. If you are looking for a story full of twists, turns, mystery, thrill, and romance, pick up a copy of Antipodes today.
This is the 6th book in the Antipodes Series and it is definately one you need to read from the beginning. I have read them all and I have loved reading about the characters how their lives have changed and they have grown as well as all the challenges, loves, loss and danger along the way and this next installment is no different.
This story is following Caitlin and Seraphine. Both of these girls have been born with one specific role in life. To have babies and continue to populate the domes with people who have a better immunity to the disease that killed so many people. Because of their genetics any offspring then have will also carry the same genes and immunity. But what happens when you don't want to follow the path that has been laid out for you. Why can't you just be your own person following your own dreams and desires wherever it may lead you? This is exactly the situation that Caitlin and Seraphine find themselves in. Their journey is one full of danger, conflict and love as well as secrets that will be revealed. The question is what would you do if it was a choice between your happiness or saving your whole community? This is what our 2 girls need to work out and it's no easy task as they are challenged at every turn. We meet new characters and see new worlds all the while witnessing the growth of Caitlin and Seraphine. This is one sci-fi adventure that will keep you turning pages until the end.
The 45th Parallel – T.S. Simons I started this series and I love it. It is not my normal read. A post-apocalyptic story after a virus in the water almost kills all living things on Earth. The human survivors have developed different worlds and must continue to find ways to overcome all the obstacles to survive. The individuals who are immune are hunted. A world where procreation is planned. This story brings extended families to a new level. Seraphine and Caitlyn are two willful, independent and intelligent sisters who are immune. I was torn between being annoyed at their immature behavior at times and cheering them on for their strength and determination. They sneak out to see the other “communities”. They quickly discover life is not the same in the different communities. They struggle with issues the other communities, like mental health issues, medical technology, farming, and people choosing “the next step”. For the sisters it is a new experience in traveling, feeling needed and finding love. They both realize as they are considered “the chosen ones” they have a bigger calling. They have always been told they have a responsibility for the world’s future. Will love with the two gorgeous men they have fallen in love hurt their calling or responsibility. They truly begin to understand the sacrifice of loved ones for their survival. I couldn’t put the book down. I can’t wait to read the book in the Series.
The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes series. I would highly recommend starting at the first book in the series (Antipodes) and reading in order to get to know the large cast of characters and vast setting that has built up by this point in the series. The Antipodes series is post-apocalyptic, set after a virus has made most of the surface of the planet uninhabitable. The protagonists of this book, Caitlin and Seraphine, are part of the next generation after the disaster who were created to be immune, and therefore more able to survive on the surface of the planet. It is expected that they will both have children, passing on their immunity to the next generation. But neither of them is keen to settle down, they are easily bored and always in search of their next adventure. This is a fun continuation of the series! It’s good seeing the next generation of characters coming of age, with the older characters who were the focus of earlier books now viewed from a different angle. Cait and Sera are enjoyable characters - young and dissatisfied with the world they’re inheriting, but also caring for others and trying to make a positive impact. This book gets five stars from me. I’d definitely recommend this series to fans of post-apocalyptic sci-fi!
Seraphine and Caitlyn are sisters in a post apocalyptic world where people aren't nearly as important as what is required for survival - including what they want or how they feel about their duties. They were turned into immune children by a previous regime who had a goal to repopulate their communities - their own, Lewis, consists of a dome underwater - the dome protects the humans from the infected water all around them.
Sera and Cait are smart young women and have dreams and desires - but how will they manage to escape their fates when they're surrounded by water they can't touch and the Nexus which was shut down by their own parents 14 years ago. Well...sounds like the best bet is to restart the Nexus!
This book isn't really my normal read, but I enjoyed the range of emotions the girls felt as they made a plan and executed it. They discover a lot about themselves along the way and find lots of trouble, too. When they enter the Nexus, they find themselves in new communities they didn't even know existed, and find both similarities and differences between the new communities they continue to locate. Will they be able to find their way home? Will they be able to keep the communities safe while they do so?
We have been on bit of a journey with the five books in the Antipodes Series, Antipodes, The Liminal Space, Ouroboros, Caim, and Sessrumnir. I thought I had said goodbye. Now we have The 45th Parallel which is an extension on the Antipodes series. The 45th Parallel is a Sci Fi romance that has emotions running high. It is an even bigger journey that could have long standing effects for everyone. It is easy to get lost in the story and become invested in the characters and the journey they are on with new worlds and new characters. There is one thing I have learnt from reading TS’s books and that is expect the unexpected and that is why her books don’t become stale. There is always something new and exciting that comes to light. What would you do if the survival of everything rests on your shoulders? Would you do your duty, or would you want to live your life? I am not going to give away any spoilers but will say start with the Antipodes series and work your way through to this book. If you don’t then you are really missing out. I can’t wait to read the other books in this new series, Orenda, and Bifrost.
The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes series by T.S. Simons. This story actually extends the original Antipodes series, which I thought had finished with the previous book- so colour me happy! As with the rest of the series, this is a post-apocalyptic, sci-fi story with a dystopian feel, some romance, adventure, danger, drama, challenges, surprising developments, tension, mystery, and plenty of emotion. Wow- if I thought the original five books were intense, then this takes things to a whole new level. So much has happened throughout the Antipodes adventure since it started way back in Book One- but things aren’t going to settle down any time soon as Ms. Simons hasn’t finished putting her characters to the test. Here, we follow Cait, Sera, and their community of survivors as this new adventure embarks- discovering new worlds, and encountering dangerous situations will put them and all those they love at extreme risk. What happens makes for a thrilling read. Looking forward to seeing what the next couple of books have in store for us! Happy Reading!
The 45th Parallel is a great continuation in the Antipodes Series. This book focuses more on the next generation of survivors, the children of the people chosen to live within the domes. Caitlin and Seraphina have lived their whole lives within the dome on Lewis, but long for adventure as they grow up. Adventure they find when they reactivate the antipodal point that allowed travel between communities. However, new communities are discovered, along with a whole new set of threats and dangers. This book had me on edge from the very beginning. Although this book could be read as a stand alone, I think the whole series is better read in order. There are so many characters, as well as so many different communities and backstories, that it would be difficult to understand any of the later books without first reading the books that came before. T. S. Simons is one of my new favorite authors! She has consistently delivered wonderful characters, full of life, and ones you can’t help but feel connected to, as well as surprisingly realistic worlds and settings. I can’t wait to read more from her!
T.S. Simons has left me with many questions after reading this thought provoking book, and I cannot wait to read the next one in this series. I’m also very tempted to go back and read the several books that come before this one. I’m not normally into sci-fi type of books, which is what I thought this was, but once I got past the initial descriptions, I was fully hooked. I did have to stop every so often to look up definitions, but I don’t feel like it detracts from the story. I was entranced with how well the story weaves together the characters and the growth as the story goes on. I was also seriously impressed with the world-building that is happening here. This is a post-apocalyptic story of a world that has been ravaged by a virus in the water. The story is told from Caitlin’s perspective and it follows her and her sister, Seraphine, through a few different “worlds” that have been created in the aftermath of the virus and its survivors. The trials these two find themselves in are comical, sad, and complex, but they end up finding themselves and their own way through the process.
The 45th Parallel Antipodes Series Book 6 By: T.S. Simons Review By: Susan Ratchford 5 Stars
I hope this book isn’t the last one in the Antipodes series! I am obsessed! T.S. Simons creates a wonderfully unique world that is amazing to explore, where both the characters and setting are completely mesmerizing. The 45th Parallel and the Antipodes series itself is full of great detail and emotional pull. It takes you on this grand adventure where you will find tension, mystery, romance, and the unexpected. I know I will be thinking about Sera and Cait for a while to come and asking myself what if? T.S. Simons gives you everything you want in a series where the installments just get better and better. I love her style and I am truly looking forward to picking up more of her work in the near future! I highly recommend the Antipodes series to any lover of the Sci-Fi genre, you will not be disappointed!
I was super excited with book #6 in this series....it is a fantastic set and I highly recommend reading this series right from the beginning. This book continues the story and pick up with Caitlin and Seraphine, whom was adventure and excitement in life.
Caitlin and Seraphine are more groomed to have a specific role...that role is to populate the community especially to help with immunities from diseases. The ladies want more than this in their life. When they decide that there is more and want adventure, the decision to reactive the Nexus laid before them bring them into a whirlwind of danger, drama and some romance.....this had me at the edge of seat to what happens next!!
I love this series and I know I am already looking forward to more more more of this series!! So well done!!!
I was so surprised and thrilled to hear that Simons has continued this series! This story focuses on Seraphine and Caitlin, two of the immune children against the infested waters. In the beginnings of their adulthood and feeling oppressed with how they have been living. As many of the adventures they have grown up hearing about, they are very eager to have one of their own and see what they find. They end up finding another underwater parallel that has been surviving on their own means as they also learn of other struggling communities. Through the emotional upheavals, they learn through this experience and bring them to the point of thinking whether they will be able to go back to their upbringing community or stay within this new one. To best understand the story, I highly recommend reading the previous books in the series and it will be so worth it!
I have loved this series so much! I really really enjoy the authors writing style and how they know what they are writing about. It is such a great story and is something I can see actually happening in reality one day. I definitely recommend reading the whole series and in order to best understand the story. This one is written from Sera and Caitlyn's point of view on their adventures making new discoveries. I was up late reading this book as I did not want to put it down needing to know what happened next. There is action and new love along with more into the back story of the characters. This story took many unexpected turns. To say I am looking forward to the other stories is an understatement!
This series honestly keeps getting better and better. When I picked up the first book I never imagined this series would be able to sustain this longevity or that I would enjoy it as much as I do and yet that is exactly what has happened. Each book just adds so much to the series overall and, like this one, is a brilliant story in its own right. I loved getting back into these characters and their lives. It took no effort for this book to draw me back into their world and have me engrossed from start to finish. I am reluctant to say that this was my favourite so far simply because they have all been so good. At the very least it is on par with the rest. This is a fantastic series and a brilliant book. I cannot wait for more!
5 Stars The 45th Parallel (Antipodes Series Book 6) by T.S. Simons
The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes Series and is Sci-Fi/Romance that will pull you in from the beginning and doesn’t let go till the end. The characters are fully developed and relatable plus they take you on quite the adventure where survival of the human race is at serious risk. This authors style of writing along with amazing characters make for a epic story. I’ve read every book in this series and I must say this one is by far my favorite yet. It’s pretty intense and keeps you turning the pages trying to figure out what is going to happen next. I highly recommend reading this book to find out what happens next. I can’t wait to read more from this Author.
This book is the sixth book in a series. I would highly recommend reading the series in order. Of all the books, this one is the only one that could possibly work as a stand alone. Whereas the rest of the series is about Cam, Freyja, and other main characters, this book is about their daughters Caitlin and Seraphina. I have read all of the other books and really enjoyed this follow up book about the daughters who are all grown up. We get to see how life has progressed on earth and the effects worldwide. I think because this book was about young people there was more language than in other books. Caitlin is very much a brat and highly intelligent and struggling to figure out where she fits in. I loved the story and recommend reading the entire series along with this book!
I love this series! This is the 6th book in the Antipodes series. I highly recommend reading the others, first. This would be a fine read by itself, but the entire experience is the recommended experience. Caitlin and Seraphine are sick and tired of doing whatever it is that they are told, and long to branch out and see different places, and do different things. They long to make their own decisions about their lives, so they set out on a journey that will challenge them. There is action, emotion, and great characters and development. This dystopian sci-fi adventure is not unimaginable in this day-and-age. It kept me glued to my seat and turning those pages! If you haven’t read any of this series, be prepared to dive in and spend some time. 5 stars.
The 45th Parallel is from the viewpoint of Freyja and Cam’s daughter, Caitlin. She is about to turn 21 and has a knack for mischief with her sister Seraphine. They are both special children with the ability to survive the protozoa including the infected water. Not surprisingly they are bored with their current lives and long for adventure. They want to travel the world as their parents have. When their travels don’t go as planned they may have bitten off more than they can chew.
I enjoyed this new addition to the Antipodes Series. It is nice to learn how all the characters are doing after 14 years later. Cait’s point of view is that of a young adult trying to find her place in the world. I highly recommend reading this series!
This author had me hooked from the first book in the Antipodes series, and I can’t believe that this installment is just as interesting and engaging! This is definitely a series that must be read in order because if you don’t, you will inevitably get lost without the detailed background. I was once again pulled into this story right away and it kept my attention through the last page. I had a very difficult time putting this book aside to do my real-world duties because I couldn’t stop thinking about what would happen next. Cait and Sera are in for the journey of their lives, but it will be an incredibly dangerous one. Pick this up and lose yourself in this captivating addition, you won’t regret it!
This is a sequel to the Antipodes series and it follows Caitlin and Seraphine, who are the children of the people in that series and who are immune to the virus. I don't think you necessarily need to read the Antipodes series to enjoy this book. I haven't read them yet and I really enjoyed reading this book. T.S. Simmons does a great job at explaining the necessary information from the Antipodes series that relates to this story so it wasn't hard to follow. It had me hooked from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down. It's a great story that takes you on an amazing journey. It was well written with vived descriptions that brings the pages to life. The characters are great, although sometimes Caitlin was immature and annoying, I felt like she had great character development and I think Gio is the perfect person for her. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the series.
Brilliant! This series is one of my favourite sci-fi series and just goes from strength to strength. The 45th Parallel is the sixth book in the Antipodes series but is more of a spin-off. This book follows Cait and Sera, children of the main characters from previous books, as they navigate the new world. Discoveries are made, lives are threatened and ambitions are questioned. Each of the characters has depth and it was great to see characters from the previous books through the eyes of others. This series needs to be read from the start to really appreciate the dystopian world that the author has created. Highly recommend.
This author has again done an extraordinary job of adding to this series. Continuing with the story of Cait and Sera and the communities around them, she gives us adventures and drama. Again, what would you do if survival of everyone were put on your shoulders? The characters are written so well. They all blend into the story so nice. Cait and Sera make a perfect team. They each bring their own personalities and gifts. I can't wait to read the next book. This is one of my favorite series and I'm glad to see more on the horizon. This plot just sucks you in from book 1 and you don't want to leave ever.
This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up. I never hesitate to pick up this author’s books as I know that I am in for an adventure. This book is no different. This is a well written story where the author used details to make the story come to life. The characters pulled me into the story from the start. They took me on an adventure of new worlds and survival of a human race is at risk. I enjoyed watching the growth of the plot as well as the characters. It added to the enjoyment and entertainment of the story. This is a fast paced story that I found hard to put down. I enjoyed the adventure and I highly recommend this book.
This book is the 6th book in the Antipodes series. I had the pleasure of reading the whole series and this book didn’t disappoint. This Sci-fi series takes place in a post apocalyptic world full of adventure, mystery, challenges, and so much more. You won’t want to miss any part of this book or the rest in the series.
The author takes great care in writing this last book so we keep engaged with the many characters we’ve come to know so well as we read about what is happening with them in this book. The way the author shares this world and makes us the readers see that world she created is what keeps me interested and evolved as I read.
