It’s really not funny that the MC h is trying to get out of marrying her murder-threatening kidnapping rapist and instead falling in love with him Stockholm-style. No, just no.
Also not cool that her father uses physical violence with a switch on his 22 year old daughter for staying out all night and her trying to dodge punishment by being cute. The beating happens off-page, but you see the results of it. He hits her on the back of the legs so it isn’t visible. Nice.

this manhwa has my whole heart 🥰 i remember being in the webtoon trenches back in the day waiting for the next chapters to come out.
the story follows Ripley, she wakes up one day and finds out she’s been isekaied into none other than one of her favorite novels, like any other romance manhwa same plot different font 🤭
BUT… this one is a little different she doesn’t automatically wake up and is the main character instead she is a background character and she is absolutely happy about it.
Ripely is a Counts daughter so she decides to take advantage of that and eat all the sweets she can and basically plays dress up while the ‘main characters’ follow the original storyline while she’s basically a background nobody. She full on believes she’ll wake up into her real body while the story plays out.
That’s until she is invited to the original main characters birthday party and her being a background nobody decides to just eat sweet and get drunk 🤭 but she wakes up and she’s in the bed with a man??? who is none other that the main male character the duke 😳
the duke tells her that since she took his first night she needs to take responsibility 😭😭😭 but Ripley isn’t having it. She just wanted to be a background nobody so she makes a plan (several) so the duke loses interest in her so she doesn’t disrupt the main storyline but anything she does just strays further and further from the main storyline hehe 🤭
this is very cute and very funny and the art is so pretty. there’s so much more that happens that you keep wanting to read more.
during my intense manhwa phase back in the day I dropped this because i was impatient with the weekly updates but i recently got gifted the first 3 physical copies that are out now so i very happy about that and hopefully i find out how it ends 🥹

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this because I basically chose it because it has a beautiful cover. I’m so glad I did though, because it was super cute, funny, and I even liked the romance between the characters. How could I not?!?! So Lady Ripley is our main character, a high school girl stuck in her favorite romance novel. She messes up the story all along the way and it’s hilarious.
Her knowledge of the book brings a funny insight into the characters and she’s constantly making side comments that crack me up!!! Let alone the relationships that have begun to grow between her and the other main characters. It’s super entertaining and I am eager to start the next book, which also has a gorgeous cover!!!
I recommend this to those who enjoy light romance manga that is mostly clean and has no super spicy scenes. Only mildly spicy. 😂😂

I’ve been buying the fast passes up to this point, and never expected this to turn into a rape narrative. I subscribed to get my mind off of negative things, but instead now I’m having flashbacks of what happened to me AND there’s tons of comments saying people are responsible for their own rape if they’re drunk.

This is one of those books where it doesn't matter that you've seen it all before - it's done so well that it's still a ton of fun. Ripley is a delight of a goofy heroine as she makes all of the mistakes characters like Katarina made before her, and if the duke is a little creepy at times, the book does a good enough job of explaining him that it works. There's definitely a little dubious consent in here, so be aware of that, but the light color scheme and nods to other stories in the same genre make this a charmer.

So far hilarious and coin-snatching. A bit stupid as most stories like that are, but it just strikes the right note for me and I am giggling and rofling over the MC adventures to rid of the duke that demanded her to take responsibility and marry him after she had what drunken she believed to be a one-night-stand with him.

Read chapters 1 - 27
This is another web comic I've fallen in love with. While I didn't like how the protagonists meet (having a supposed one-night-stand when one is drunk), this story still quickly became a favorite (especially because of the gorgeous art style).
Ripley's hilarious and I love her adventures and attempts to make the duke not wanting to marry her. She's sincere, straight-forward and self-reflective, which I really adore and I wish her all the best.
Zeronis is a tsundere through and through and I'm an absolute sucker for tsundere, so it was no suprise he could easily win me over. Also, his gentle side really warms my heart.
The whole story is fun to read (laughed out loud a few times and I really rarely do this), but still deals with serious topics in a respectful way.

The series ended with 84 episodes and some spin-off epilogues.
The art was so beautiful. The characters were lovable (esp our quirky FMC, Ripley). The plot was comedic at times but can also get pretty serious.
Ripley gets isekai-ed into this fantasy world where she ends up having a ONS with the Duke and now the Duke wants to marry her. Ripley is hilarious as she's always up to some mischief. Even though she tries to avoid the Duke's advances, they both end up falling in love and eventually getting married after a few more obstacles.
Then shit gets real and it literally feels like the world was turning on Ripley. Do check out this Webtoon!

No he leído muchos manhwas con reencarnaciones, pero dentro de mi corta experiencia puedo decir que este es de los mejores que he leído.
Nuestra protagonista, Ripley, reencarna de repente en su webnovel favorita y le toca ser la hija de una familia rica que no tiene mucha importancia en la trama. Ella decide disfrutar la situación y ver en primera persona cómo se va desarrollando el romance entre la protagonista femenina (huérfana adoptada por una familia rica, que sigue conservando su esencia humilde) y el protagonista masculino (duque frío y cortante).
Todo parece ir bien hasta que, en una fiesta, Ripley bebe un poco de más y se despierta a la mañana siguiente en la cama del duque.
A partir de aquí nos encontraremos una historia caótica y súper divertida donde Ripley intentará juntar a toda costa a los protagonista de la novela mientras el duque le exige a ella que se case con él, ya que debe hacerse responsable por esa primera noche juntos.
El ritmo de la lectura no es siempre igual, hay momentos en los que necesitas beberte los capítulos y otros momentos en los que llega incluso a ser pesada. Yo igualmente recomiendo seguir leyendo, los últimos capítulos prometo que son oro.

The drama adaptation of this manhwa will be airing soon, so I decided to read the first volume to get a feel of the vibes and the characters.
A woman gets transported into her favourite romance novel and she accidentally piques the interest of the male lead. She wants to make sure that the male lead falls for the actual female lead, but all of her plans keep failing.
The story is funny and ridiculous, but I doubt I'll continue reading. I'll check out the drama though.

Pero gracias a Ripley y un pal de tragos🥂 , la historia cambio. Ahora el Duque la quiere para él.
Ripley, es una locura total y junto con su sirviente Sylvia, conspira para volver la historia a su ruta original. Para cumplir su objetivo, Ripley crea misiones un tanto... peculiares , pero "rendirse jamás" y "Que nunca sepan tu siguiente movimiento" son los lemas de esta loquita.

This is the sort of webtoon where the main character falls into a piece of media she's thoroughly familiar with and ends up changing the story drastically. In this case, it's a very iffy sounding romance novel, and the main character isn't the heroine or villain, she's a side character. And would like to remain so. Instead, she quickly becomes the heroine and finds herself trying to extricate herself from a romance with the main hero of the novel. The tone is very different from many of the similar stories that I've read, in that it's a comedy, not a drama. Plus, the art is really good.
I just wish the main romance weren't so thoroughly awful. It begins when the main character, Ripley, wakes up the morning after a party in bed with the duke of the title. Folks. If she was so blackout drunk that she literally has no memory of a single moment with the duke, could she have actually consented to sex with him? Of course not. And yet, I guess we're not supposed to find this a disturbing start to the romance? Nor, I guess, are we supposed to be terrified for her that the duke is constantly threatening to murder her if she doesn't do as he wants. I'm sure there will be some kind of redemption arc where it'll be revealed that he never really meant any of it. It's still abusive. And because I have no interest in seeing an actually charming heroine get Stockholmed into marrying this man, I'll not be continuing.

― I really loved this at first, but the more that I think about it, the more I realize that zeronis really did take advantage of ripely while she was drunk, simply because she was the first person to tell him he didn't deserve the shitty childhood that he had and coincidentally happened to be a woman...
what happened to the 'hi', 'hello', 'my name is'???
not to mention, the death threats he gave her if she didn't marry him because she was his 'first' when my guy was the one who forced himself on her?! incels in denial are so gross, get a grip; I'm so sick of this 'obsessed ml whom the fmc doesnt give two shits abt but he loves her so he assaults and gaslights her into 'loving' him and starting a family with her r@pist'.
I'm never going to excuse r@pe no matter how cutesy the rest of the story was; it's honestly so embarrassing thinking any of that bullshit is okay.

What would you if you teleported in to your favorite book? Well, this is what it's all about. The comic is so funny and I love the female lead. She is so good at making plans 😂 Most entertaining character though!
