NO END CODE
Four stories from the near future.

Happy Birthday — First you will read an important birthday greeting to a little girl. Take note in case you need to upload in the near future!

Green Velvet — You’ll be the (perhaps slightly uncomfortable) observer of an unexpectedly sudden and true romance involving the Singularity.

Report from Germany — “Listen” to a time travel trip report from Germany. Wait for it — there are lions!

No End Code — Here you’ll be dragged into a murder investigation in Alaska which might leave you wondering whose side you’d be on if this was you. Perhaps wear a hat when it snows?

No End Code will touch on the following existential questions:

Do you upload before or after your birthday?

What happens when technology begins to twine itself closer and closer to our humanity and refuses to let go?

Where does the human end and the machine begin?

What if there is no end code?

What amazes me most about this little anthology (that can be read in one big gulp) is the variety of themes present. For anyone on the lookout for emerging voices, this will be a great find.
