Remote Sensing and GIS

Rate this book
The book provides an exhaustive coverage of optical, thermal, and microwave remote sensing, global navigation satellite systems (e.g., GPS), digital photogrammetry, and visual image analysis. The main emphasis is on the basic concepts of remote sensing and GIS but topics such as digital image
processing, spatial and attribute data model, geospatial analysis, and planning, implementation, and management of GIS have also been discussed in detail.

Owing to its lucid style and presentation of advanced topics, such as ground truth data, metadata concepts, latest developments and modern trends of GIS and GNSS, makes this book suitable as a reference for postgraduate students and practicing professionals from the Geomatics community.
