Daily Insights by Zig Ziglar is a good book, and even better for men and women who are always on the go. It does not just give you a verse and a relatabke story, but also it allows you to digest the Word of God by questions which are in line with the verse.
Especially great reading for one beginning the adventure of Bible study. It is filled with great quotes from writers and preachers and insights from the authors themselves--Zig Zigler and Ike Reighard.
"On that day, He won't ask us if we were more powerful than others. He'll ask only if we did all we could to help, serve, and give, taking responsibility for our choices--all to 'fulfill the law of Christ' to help others instead of wielding power for our own sake." ~May 15
"There is no fool so great as a knowing fool. But to know how to use knowledge is to have wisdom." ~Charles Haddon Spurgeon
"Our trust in God is a reflection of our grasp of His greatness and grace." ~April 20
"Words are the visible clothes that our invisible thoughts wear." ~Ike Reighard
"Sooner or later we all sit down to a banquet of consequences." ~Robert Louis Stevenson
I really love this daily inspirational guide. It's well written, quick and easy to accomplish on a daily basis yet thought provoking with questions that make you ponder and help you re-examine instances and situations in your own day to day life. With a busy lifestyle, this book takes very little time. I also like that although it's a one year book, there is no "year" associated with the dates. One can continue to re-read this again later on and compare thoughts from year to year. I also like the fact that particular book has a leather embossed old fashioned cover so that it not only "looks" elegant on a coffee table or bookshelf but also makes it a great edition for gift giving.
I read this everyday! It's a great motivational book and also helps you take a look at your inter-self. Helps you make you be the best person you can be.
Filled with treasures of wisdom and insight. If you discipline yourself, a worthy challenge at the end of each days reading. Highly recommend this book!

We would love to tell you that we read it every day, but that would not be the case; we do slip up from time to time.
We love the way this devotion has a different devotion for every day of the year, except February 29. On leap day, we just have to read the devotion for a different day twice that year. That also makes it a good day to catch up on any that got missed due to life’s challenges.
We believe this devotion written, in part, by the inspirational Zig Ziglar, makes a great source for daily devotions to be read together by the whole family, including pets.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 KJV
He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Mark 16:15 NIV
These devotions, like most others, are short and to the point. This makes it good for reading to the family since those young ones with short attention spans aren’t apt to lose focus during the reading.
We have been big fans of the late Zig Ziglar for many years and are glad that he put his time, along with that of Dwight "Ike" Reighard, into creating this book for us.
This would make a lovely gift for anyone, especially in the imitation leather binding.

Many have known Zig Ziglar for his motivational speeches. Here, he shows us how much our faith can motivate us as well. I appreciate the questions he asks at the end of each days reading.
I will admit that I have not read the whole devotional year yet but I have gone through and read some of the entries and like the format. For each day there is some scripture, some explanation, a question to make you think and a quote or two. It is not too cramped together and even though I don’t think it was designed for it you could probably adds some of your own short notes. That means if you read through it more than one year you could see how your understanding has changed and grown. And devotionals always make good gifts.
A beautiful book on the outside a great devotional everyday an insight scripture and life question to ponder i really enjoyed this and i'm passing it along to my father who i think will also enjoy it
It was nice. I miss Zig. I have seen him speak several times, once sitting close enough for him to spit on me. He is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met. It's easy to hear his voice in this book.
