Rate this book
London, 2046. The movie industry is coming to town for the launch of the FAB movie awards. But when British president and former actor Zayn Winner loses a screenplay he’s written that parodies fellow world leaders, all Hollywood hell breaks loose. That's the cue for long-suffering presidential spokesman Howie Pond to be handed a leading role in the hunt for the missing script.

To add to the movie mayhem, British intelligence identifies a possible plot to sabotage the FABs ceremony at Buckingham Palace. Howie's secret-agent wife, Britt, is tasked with identifying the plotters and averting a real-life Hollywood disaster.

Along the way, Howie and Britt encounter actors, actresses, movie moguls and more, as they’re both sucked into a story that sees them – and the people around them – lose the plot on more than one occasion.

Will the screenplay be found before Britain is embarrassed on the international stage? Can the plotters be unmasked before the dramatic denouement? Find out, in this latest crazy, comedy adventure from British drama king Paul Mathews!

The writer has definitely lost the plot...or maybe not, he is a brit, so it is always bit hard to tell at times, crazy ride this series, but at least it kept my attention.

They're back--the British Republic's President Zayn Winner and First Lady, Electra Winner--to make sure Presidential Spokesperson Howie Pond doesn't accidentally catch a minute's peace.
The President, himself a former actor (and legend in his own mind), has written an inflammatory screenplay featuring current world leaders as characters. In a drunken evening out with a handful of Hollywood somebodies, he seems to have lost the first draft and plot notes.
This screenplay is a global disaster waiting to happen.
For once, Howie shows no reluctance. He's on this investigation like white on rice.
If you've enjoyed Mathews’ "We Have Lost" series so far, you'll like the madcap action in this episode as much as ever.

There was plenty of humor thrown throughout the story. Some you might like, some like me you might roll your eyes at, but so did Britt, so you could tell that the author already knew what he was setting out to accomplish. I enjoyed Britt's character a lot more throughout this story, she showed the most maturity and level headiness, where everyone else was a lot more eccentric, with a lot of quirks. It did include people from his previous books, so this was a nice touch. This book makes fun of it's own characters so you do need to take that into account. Where I found the president to be utterly childish in behavior and mannerisms so do the characters throughout the book. This being said I do think some was over the top, trying hard at humor. The ending was kind of a stretch for me, without trying to give anything away, I felt that with all the hubbub of the mystery that was happening throughout the book this just fell flat.

I do think though that if you are looking for a lighthearted read that truly doesn't seem to take itself serious, you would enjoy the adventure that Howie and Britt take you on.
