After years of complaining about him in his popular blog, The Psychokitty Speaks Out, Max felt it was time to let the world hear from his main source of Buddah Pest. During the summer of 2019, these two cool kitties sat down for a conversation about how their lives together came to be, why Max finds Buddah annoying, and Buddah finally gets a chance to have his say.Part conversation, part Advice on Writing, part peace treaty, this is the book Max’s fans has asked an interview with the Pest. Buddah Pest, King of the run-on sentence.
Most of us have known and read Max's blogs,, his. Mouse breath advice, and have read his books! But one thing in this book is very touching! That is how he has helped his little brother Buddah become a more grown up cat. This book showed the tender feelings of Buddah ! We don't hear that much. The last few pages were really tender and gave a new light on how much little Bureau wanted Max to be proud of him and how tender and thoughtful Bureau has become since Max has had health concerns! I teared up when Bureau expressed his love for Max and reassured him that if Max went to the Bridge soon, he would take good care of the people! Bureau has grown up in so many ways & I am very proud of what he has accomplished! This is a never miss read! It's funny, tender, heartwarming, and just a great read! Kudos!
This book hit me in the feels. I have been following Max and Buddah since before the Wick series began. Reading this book brought those 2 even closer to my heart if that is even possible.
Max is one of my favorite authors. I know, he's a cat, but he is a very bright cat, well spoken with a great mind for stories. He has learned well from his Mom over the past 19 years.
Imagine reading a book of two cat brothers finally saying things that needed to be said, making peace as much as possible when one still likes to nip and ride his brother like a horse after 15 years.
I recommend this wholeheartedly for not only those who love Max and Buddha, but anyone who wants to get an idea of what these two cats think about in their later years.
Listening to the 2 brothers talk to each other was so bittersweet. By the time I began this book both had crossed the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge within 6 weeks of so of each other. I had only discovered Max a few years ago, so I missed a lot of that delightful and funny and snarky boy. I wish the 2 of them had talked sooner, but they are chatting up a storm and Max can hold his own now. If you love animals, read Max's books. The Woman can finish his Wink series but I will miss his exploits . And Buddah's, and Hank's wisdom
I have followed these two kitties on their blogs and in their owner’s social media. I love the way Max seems to impart wisdom of his age for Buddha to learn from him. Their relationship has been delightful to read for many years and this book does seem to be a suitable way for these two to settle their differences in their later years.
