Really enjoyed this book. Ibbott's book is the first I've read on sportbike riding and it's definitely helped increase my understanding of racecraft. The writing is close to what I want in a book of this sort: this is the technique, the context in which you apply it, and an example of when it's used at the top level. The pictures are both asthetically pleasing and good for instruction.

There are two things I wish Ibbott included:
1) training drills. It's good to have the techniques in mind, but obviously track time can be quite pricy and it's good to have suggestions for off-track training wherever possible
2) Exercises. Keeping the "fleshy bit on top" in peak performance is advocated by everyone and their mother. It would be nice to get a rider-specific list of muscle groups to work and ways to develop them (I.e. is the priority strength, flexibility, endurance?)

Really liked this book and took a lot away from it. Ibbott goes into great detail about how the MotoGP greats ride, but also how they prepare mentally and physically.

I found the parts about braking and steering particularly interesting (people are often unaware how much of a role legs play when riding motorbikes) and the suspension setup guide was also very useful.

As someone has already mentioned, some drills from Ibbott on how to implement his teaching would be useful!
