honestly just love the manga style soo much more than the anime. the anime did not do it justice🤚 but i absolutely adore rishe and and arnold so much together this is truly such a slow burn omg i cant wait to see rishe fall in love with arnold slowly. and now we're getting more theo after that conflict was resolved <3

also why cant i find the 4th volume anywhere online😭 this close to giving in and buying a copy but i really dont want to fall down that rabbit hole of obsessively buying mangas its bad enough with books and SEs😭

I loved this volume more than the previous ones. IT WAS SO GOOD. Plus we're seeing more of Prince Arnold and getting to know more of Rishe + more characters. I adore their little relationship and though it is a marriage of convenience, they seem to understand each other. Rishe is one of the best protagonists I've read recently and I can't wait to keep reading her story <3

Wow... This one actually managed to make me cry.

The story is getting so good. I love the slow development of relationships in this one - romantic, platonic, and familial.

I cannot wait for the next volume to come out!!!

And this is where I'm locked in. A brother complex leading to a planned kidnapping and resolution between the two brothers. Rishe was scary going through her explanation of a proper kidnapping. It was almost comical the way Arnold showed no emotion standing stoic whilst brother and fiancée had a heart to heart about him. A little suicide attempt thrown in there. Rishe was a little badass with her escape and Arnold's faith in her was heart warming.

I devoured the first three volumes of 7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to her Worst Enemy (that is a mouthful of a title lmao). I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did. I love Rishe so much. She's such a warm and likable character! But more on that later.

Quick Summary: Rishe Irmgard Weitzner found herself in a time loop. She dies when she reach twenty and goes back to a certain period of her life only to relive it all over again. She tried to live a different kind of life each time but always end up dying when she reached twenty. At the end of her 6th life where she lived as a soldier (she did a Mulan where she pretended to be a man to get into the army) where she got killed by the crown prince, Arnold Hein. Rishe resolute to do everything she can to not die on her 7th life. But it's as if fate had other plans because not long after she got thrown back to her past for her 7th life, she met the man who killed her and asked her to marry him.

To be honest, Isekai is not my favorite. I was so surprised when I ended up completely falling in love with this series which I think could be attributed to how great of a character Rishe is. She is such a lovable character. She’s smart, confident, and warm towards everyone. She is not the type of character who moans about how bad her situation is and sulk around. She instead goes out of her way to try and do the best she can with whatever situation was given to her and learn from them.

Normally, I’m more drawn to the male characters in mangas but she took the cake for me. But that’s not to say Arnold is a bad character (because he isn’t) and that Rishe is the only redeeming character in this manga.

Arnold is the brooding male protagonist type. He’s the type that keeps a lot of things to himself so he doesn’t burden the people around him. At this point in the manga, I’m still not privy as to why he did what he did in the past (this was five years after Rishe gets sent back for her 6th life that eventually ended her life). I have a feeling his cruelty and brutality from Rishe’s previous life had something to do with his family and some loss.

I’d also like to talk about how cute Rishe and Arnold is together. Rishe’s always doing things that surprised Arnold which I think is why he’s so fascinated with her - just like I am. I just look forward to more sweet and cute interactions between them.

I’m very curious to know how this story ends. I want to know why Rishe was thrown into a loop and what she could do to stop it. I’m pretty sure she’s going to play an integral role it making sure Arnold does not turn into the brutal tyrant from her previous life.

This story is so good! I love how the development of the story and characters is progressing. It’s not too fast and the slow burn is burning! But the little progressions of relationships is done so well! I absolutely loved Theo and Arnold in this volume. Also Rishe is my girl!!! She is everything I love in an fmc. She’s witty, feminine, smart, and a total badass! So excited to keep reading 🥹

We get a bit more action and characterization for Arnold in this volume which is good because that's what I've been wanting more of from this series. Overall, another solid volume for my latest comfort series.

Davvero un classico la caratterizzazione del fratello di Arnold. Questo volume mi è piaciuto un po' meno rispetto ai precedenti, ma la storia resta intrigante e intelligente. Rishe, concentrati di più su Arnold, a zia 😬

4 stars. I think I'm now caught up to where I was with the light novel. I'm excited to see where this goes. It is giving a bit of a manhwa feeling of possibly meandering on side stories/tangents, but the lead is forcing it down a particular path still. Still enjoyable.

VIDEO REVIEW HERE: https://youtu.be/8noCtJJ-_rQ

This story continues to make me more and more emotional, and that was something I was NEVER expecting when continuing to read more of this series. While I did tear up last volume, I had full blown nose sniffling and wiping my eyes so my tears wouldn't fall when reading this one.

In every way, this volume, this series, has surprised me. Rishe low-key reminds me of a villainess from a villainess isekai manga because she is setting out to change her seventh life. However, unlike most villainesses (and I mean this lovingly) she is no longer doing it to keep herself safe from the "red flags." I think it was very telling how last volume she shared her worries and in this volume it was her sharing her greatest fear. However, rather than dwell on that fear and change things for herself only, she uses that fear to compel her to help those around her. Honestly, she reminds me a lot of Pride from The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen. I think the only main difference is how these ladies are going about changing other people's lives., but I have no doubts it's why I find Rishe to be an extremely compelling heroine and why this series has a hook on me.

I know this series must have a hook on me because I came into this volume fully expecting more romance, but there was little to be found and I wasn't upset about that! Instead, I found a very heartfelt and emotional story of Rishe striving to help there be reconciliation between two certain characters. I felt like I FLEW through those moments where everything is on center stage and the truth is finally being shared. I don't even feel my brain able to fully process all that was happening because I was just unprepared for the depth this series would have, especially as I got closer to the end of this volume. (I'm definitely already telling myself a reread is in order!)

7th Time Loop has become a series that is fun at times, yes, but something that is far more than just "happy" fiction. It's a story of change that is not purely for oneself, but for those around them and for them being able to chase the dreams, the future, they long for.

Once again, I can't wait to see what Rishe does next and can't wait to read the next volume! So well done!!

Did homegirl really just create an mlm? 💀

I think I’m done with this series tbh. Did not care for the little brother’s antics. Like, you’re gonna put someone in danger cause big brother doesn’t pay attention to you? Fuck off. The entire volume was dedicated to him and his antics and Rishe should have better called his ass out on that. And the maid! I wouldn’t be trusting her bitch ass either. Girl, you didn’t want to do anything! So why are you getting involved in so much!!!? Rishe is doing too much (and being a little too perfect about it).

I’m tired of this grandpa!

Extrait :

Oh, this one worked really well in manga form! Maybe I just found the stuff from volume 2 more boring, then? Or just repetitive, whereas this manga adaptation added some nuance that I was struggling with a bit at the end of the first light novel. So it's really nice to have both formats.

Rishe's negotiations with Tully were handled well, but the star of this volume is Arnold's little brother. All the emotions really came across so much stronger for me here; I'm not sure why, but Theodore's motivations just seemed clearer, and his loneliness and his love for his brother was so much more visible.

And Arnold's, in turn! I think that's helped by the illustrations, since you can read a lot in expressions when the character barely has any dialogue - and when the narration is mostly from Rishe's perspective. I'm so fascinated by their family dynamics. I suspect Arnold's father did horrible things to his mother, and I'm assuming she's the one who stabbed him and gave him all those scars? But did he actually kill her in self defense like Theodore tells Rishe, or is that just a story that's shielding their father?

I'm suspecting, too, that Arnold sent his sisters away for their own protection. I'm still stuck with Rishe in trying to figure out his motivations and his big plans for the future, but it's clear that he really cares about his little brother, despite only watching over him from afar. Loved seeing that sibling dynamic heal the tiniest bit, with Rishe doing so much to bridge the gap between them.

The bonus content in this volume was fun, too. Love the little tidbit about Kamil the knight being in love with Elsie the maid! And both Elsie and Rishe being too oblivious to notice anything about romance. Funny and sweet. I wonder if Rishe never had the time to indulge in any romance over the course of her other six lives. It seems like she didn't; she was much too focused on building out all her other careers and expertise.

Even with 5 years of training as a knight under her belt, it remains a little bit silly that Rishe was able to fight her way through like 20 guards, but I appreciate how confident Arnold was that she could take care of herself. With him constantly scheming ways to keep other people safe, I'm sure it's a huge weight off his shoulders to have a partner he can trust to handle things on her own.

His admiration for Rishe was quiet but always present in this volume, and I like how committed she is to her role - as Arnold's future wife, the crown princess who will take care of her country and her people, and the person who will stop the war before Arnold has a chance to start it.

Last of these reviews until the other three volumes arrive. I fear this is the kind of series that you not only binge, but binge reread.

One thing that Rishe observed in the previous volume, that she cannot beat her former masters in a straight up duel in their trade, is played with. Kaine Tully, the man who taught her to be an excellent trader, has challenged her to give him a proper business worth his investing in her. Rishe uses her skills as an apothecary to invent a new product, uses the skills Kaine himself taught her to identify (or rather create) the target market, then uses her original skill set as a future queen to create a way that this market will benefit the people of her new home. Of course, when all this still doesn't work the way she hopes for, she flat out cheats and hits him where it hurts. Hey, she's the future Empress of Galkhein, playing fair is not at all in the books. Of course, Kaine Tully is only half the volume - the other half is the screwed up family dynamics of the Imperial House of Galkhein, starting with the damaged relationship between Arnold and Theodore, his younger brother.

In some ways, Rishe is more like a detective than a princess. She's also a lot like superglue. On the one hand, she considers her husband to be a fathomless mystery she cannot figure out, but she still applies herself to trying to understand him. Arnold plays it close to the chest, so she is always watching him and listening to him, piecing together the clues he does not realize he has left behind to build a better picture of who he is. She's still quite charming and capable, but as many people not named Arnold don't realize, she's also incredibly dangerous. But under all these, it's her desire to live without regrets merging with her wish to prevent Arnold from launching his war against the world that drive the plot. She's gambling that the Arnold who cherishes her freedom and treats her so gently is the man he truly is, while the Emperor who killed her in her sixth life is what circumstances forced him to be.

As manga is a visual medium, I think the art should always be discussed, even if I've done nothing but praise it for the last two reviews. Again, charming, but seeing as this volume is a bit more serious and intense, the chibi insets used to emphasize emotions are less common, as there is less humor. Not to say there is no humor, as Rishe gets in a good mental jibe against Kaine Tully, just that the intensity of the scenes require the more serious "normal" art to best deliver without undermining the story.

I still recommended this series, guys, continue to stick with it!

So this volume of the manga completes the first novel.

I didnt remember much but this was a great visaulization to the events that happen in the light novel.

Rishe is still trying to manuepver her way into changing events that happen five years in the future. Whether Arnold has feelings for her, or is just using her for some end, remains to be seen. I am curious on this myself. There were times where it feels that way. That he does care for her, especillay in the way he cared her after she fell asleep.

As far as what changes Arnold, that remains a mysery but you do see alitle of his crueler side for a bit when he is talking to Rishe. When she mentions that she knows he is preparing for a world without him in it.

The relationship between Prince Arnold and his brother, the person behind Rishe kidnap, gets some resolution. Hopefully, Theodore is able to find something more produtive in his search to be more useful to the prince. I shouldnt have laughed by Arnold slapping the shit out of Theodore made me laugh.

With Rishe, winning over Mr. Tully. I did enjoy that scene with her using some of her knowledge from her previous life as mercentary to use to her advantage.

I am not sure if I want to start the second light novel just yet. I do have a few volumes of Otherside Picnic manga volumes 5 and 6 to finish. I saw this was getting an anime in Janurary 2024 which I am excited about.

This franchise remains a prototypical rebirther shoujo and regal drama. It’s easy to read and competently implemented. Rishe continues her work to establish a connection with the Aria Trading Company. This volume has a bit more emotional weight to it as we explore the complicated relationship between Arnold and his brother Theo. The sidebar was definitely worth the exploration time and it was nice to see Rishe not just being a waiting damsel. However, I worry it will be hard to establish tension and conflict moving forward as our protagonist becomes an overpowered Mary Sue. Despite disclaimers she needs to train her body, our leading lady is overly proficient in old skills and has the ability to seemingly read the mind of characters she has never met before not just make guesses based on big events in former timelines. Not all problems should be instantaneously resolved but we will have to see how that evolves in the future.
