I AM IN LOVEEEEEEEE😭❤️
This deserves more than 5 stars, 10 stars maybe? If I could, I would.
Part 2 is much more cinematic, mesmerizing. The cast is able to express emotions for their characters in such an exquisite manner, I teared up in so many moments. It starts off with Feyre and Rhysand at the Summer Court looking for the Book of Breathings and continues with their journey of love, and war. The music, the narration and sound effects are simply elite in this one. Part 1 is mild compared to it.
❌POTENTIAL MINOR SPOILERS❌
There were so many amazing moments in this graphic audiobook. The ones that do stand out are-
1. Feyre and Rhysand at starfall. The cinematic music in that scene is so simple. But the chemistry between the two characters is so genuine, the voice actors capture it so well.
2. The adaptation of chapter 54 and 55. When Rhysand started telling his side of the story, it was so easily to give into it. NGL I teared up.
3. Feyre killing the Attor. Oof that was absolutely badass.
4. I don't want to sound like a crazy woman who's into torture but at the end, the screams that came from Cassian, Nesta and Elain, I got chills. That whole scene at Hybern is performed amazingly. The chemistry between the cast is chef's kiss 🤌
Also not making excuses for Tamlin, but his idiotic ass along with Lucien tried to fight for Nesta and Elain.. i still want a redemption arc for him.
Anywayyy cannot wait to continue my reread with ACOWAR being next. I'm so excited. Guys you should check the graphic audiobooks out, I swear on my life it's worth it....I get carried away.

This graphic audio had no business being that freaking good!!!! I have already read this book multiple times bc it's my favorite in this series but listening to it in this format was a whole different experience!! I can't stress enough that if you are a fan of these books you should give these graphic audio books a try bc it's AMAZING!!!! The music and the performances really were perfect!
Highlights!!
-Rhys and Feyre's banter. Their teasing is really brought to life and so cute and funny.
-The Court of Nightmares. So hot!
-The INN!!! This was so unbelievably cute and sexy at the same time.
-Chapter 54! OK, so I know that everyone loves chp 55 and so do I but my favorite chapter is actually 54 and the graphic audio takes Rhys emotional monologue to ANOTHER level. It's performed so beautifully and I was honestly a little emotional listening to it.
-Chapter 55!- DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! WOW! That was hot and perfect!
-The battle for the Rainbow- My girl Feyre is so fierce, and I love her here!
-Meeting with Hybern- THIS WHOLE SCENE IS AMAZNG!!! The music, the effects, the performances! Just WOW!!
I am loving experiencing these books this way and I can't wait to start the next one!

Holy fuck.
Give these narrators a raise.
Even if I listened to ch 54 and 55 while I was driving and managed not to drive off into a cliff, this was the best experience ever.
Just wait until this version of ACOSF comes out. You'll hear me howling from the other side of the planet.

I think the second half was even better than the first one. 😍😍😍
Do yourself a favor and go listen to this dramatized adaptation. It is pure gold. 🖤
The part where Rhys tells Feyre his story, how he dreamt about her, and how he realized that there was a strong bond between them brought tears to my eyes.
The smutty parts were also a delight to listen to (and the famous chapter 55 was even hotter than when I read it).

Oh. My. God. 🤯 What a crazy ride (I apologize in advance for the long review).
I thought I fell in love with the first book, but this one is even better! I can't believe how much I love reading it every single time. 💗 This book is my favorite in the series (actually, it’s probably my all-time favorite book). I can't get enough of Rhysand and how his relationship with Feyre went from hate on her side to playful banter with unyielding support, to sweet romance. 💗
This book picks up not long after the end of ACOTAR. Feyre and Tamlin are now back in the Spring Court, and trying to rebuild it, while also having to deal with their demons and PTSD. Feyre was deeply affected by what happened to her under the mountain, and we can see how she is slowly falling apart and how she is stuck in a very dark place. This book is about healing and finding strength and purpose, but we also get to realize that Amarantha was only the tip of the iceberg in Hybern's plan to wreak havoc on Prythian and the human lands. Now, Feyre needs to heal, but she also needs to do it quickly enough to be able to help Prythian get ready for Hybern and try to warn the humans, too, before it's too late for them.
I was excited to know what would happen next to Feyre and Tamlin, but mainly, I wanted more of Lucien and Rhysand. Needless to say that I was ecstatic when Rhysand interrupted Feyre's wedding! Especially since Tamlin became even more controlling and condescending in this book, he was quite a jerk. I like that it was kind of explained by his too-strong protective side, though. He was a jerk, sure, but there is a somewhat logical reason for it; he's not just being a jerk because the author needed a reason to push him to the sidelines. Still, I couldn't wait for Feyre to get a break from him and to remember how much of a strong and badass woman she could be, and how she deserved to be treated.
This book is darker than the first one, mainly because Feyre is trying to deal with the aftermath of her trials under the mountain, and she has no help at all from Tamlin and Lucien. She is depressed, doesn’t eat anymore, can’t bear the guilt of choosing to kill two innocent faes and she is spiraling more and more into a very dark place, while Tamlin and Ianthe (a High Priestess currently residing at the Spring Court) are trying to groom her to be the perfect bride and perfect doe-eyed sweet damsel. She is not allowed to leave the manor, go into the woods, or even train to learn how to fight and defend herself. Tamlin going as far as locking her up inside the house when he’s not there to protect her. Thankfully, Rhys and Mor were there to get her out of this miserable life. While I was cheering for Feyre to get away from Tamlin, I would also be curious to read some chapters from this book from Tamlin's POV.
There is also more action in this book. It is a roller-coaster of emotion and a real page-turner. Once she is finally free from Tamlin, Feyre has to decide what she wants for her future. She meets Rhysand’s inner circle: a group of shunned people sharing a bond through their dark past, but mostly their dreams of a better world. They all have their dark backstory, yet they survived and are now stronger because of it, just as Feyre becomes when she is allowed to heal from her time under the mountain and to have a purpose. They are all fiercely protective of each other, and it truly is a delight to read about their interactions and their banter; they had me laughing out loud many times. They are the kind of secondary characters that steal the show, and that you can't help but love, for who they are, but also for their precious, precious bonds.
The Night Court is just perfect. With the descriptions of the magically hidden city of Velaris and the people, it was easy to imagine the magic of it all. I fell in love with Cassian, Azriel, Mor, and Amren. I can't get enough of this gang, their playful banter, their loyalty and friendship, and their dream to defeat the King of Hybern and live in a peaceful, better world. I can't even be coherent and elaborate on my thoughts about them. I just love them for so many reasons, and I need more of them.
The development of Feyre’s relationship with Rhys is one of the best I've read. I adore hate-to-love relationships, and at the same time, he was so kind to her, and he cared about her happiness before anything else. He was there for her when no one else was, and he acknowledged her feelings instead of pretending they were not there (as if it would make them disappear). I found it so sweet when he decided to take the time to teach her how to read, and how he tried to make her see her value and helped her build back her confidence and self-esteem, but mostly, I absolutely adore that he always gives her the choice to do as she wishes, and he always respects her decisions, even when it hurts him. Feyre became stronger in this book thanks to her determination, resiliency, and also thanks to Rhys. Her character development is amazingly well done.
I can't wait to read the next book; the end of ACOMAF is just cruel, and I am so excited to see how much of a badass Feyre is in ACOWAR. What more can I say? I love Rhys; he’s still in the top tier of my all-time favorite book boyfriends, right next to Cassian and Lucien. I love The Night Court, I love this book so much, and I miss my dear Lucien (he deserves so much love and a HEA).

And I realized—I realized how badly I'd been treated before, if my standards had become so low. If the freedom I'd been granted felt like a privilege and not an inherent right.

5 High Lady of the Night Court Stars ⭐
**I am not going to talk about the plot in the book because then you've clearly been living under a damn rock if you don't know....Like hello????...THIS IS ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE OF THE GRAPHIC AUDIO!
Quite frankly, this is amazing! This cast is amazing and yes they did have an AMAZING story to work with, but the ease with which they convey the feeling and emotions behind the dialogue is just astounding.
I am totally obsessed with Anthony Palmini’s voice and totally replayed ALL of the "iconic quotes" from Rhys about 5 times just to experience the chills all over again. Yes, this made this book a little longer...but I am not complaining!!!

I mean, how can you go wrong with these voice actors and this story?! You can't. If you are in need of an ACOTAR series reread, I highly recommend doing so with the graphic audios!

Not to sound dramatic, but the second part of this audiobook may have ruined me for all others. 🤣
It’s no secret that the storytelling in this installment, whatever the format is phenomenal , but the dramatized audio is all about bringing the experience to life and it is mesmerizing.
The various voices among the cast worked well. I often find myself annoyed whenever I listen to a fantasy/romance audiobook and it seems like there was a search for the men with the deepest voices on planet earth and beyond to cast the main characters. This isn’t the case here and while a few of the characters take a little getting used to, it works to the benefit of the material that they sound young giving them a feeling of timelessness.
The visit to the Court of Nightmares was vicious, vibrant, and scorching.

As for the often discussed steam, 🔥 I would not recommend listening to this at the office. 🤣 These scenes are decadent.
It was easy to find Nesta’s brave spirit utterly incredible in those moments with the cauldron.
The narrators brought those final scenes to life with an intensity that gave me chills.
It’s no secret that the storytelling in this installment, whatever the format is phenomenal , but the dramatized audio is all about bringing the experience to life and it is mesmerizing.
The various voices among the cast worked well. I often find myself annoyed whenever I listen to a fantasy/romance audiobook and it seems like there was a search for the men with the deepest voices on planet earth and beyond to cast the main characters. This isn’t the case here and while a few of the characters take a little getting used to, it works to the benefit of the material that they sound young giving them a feeling of timelessness.
The visit to the Court of Nightmares was vicious, vibrant, and scorching.

anyways.
the graphic audios hit different man. and don't get me started on chapter 55 because holy lord have mercy.
listening to the audio made me realise how much peace i actually find when reading about Rhys and feyre. it makes me feel at home. i missed my parents.

5 audio stars, 5 book stars.
This is by far my favorite book of the series. I just love Feyre and Rhys, and although Rhys actor wouldn't be my choice, both actors do an amazing job bringing their characters love story to life.
I preferred this part to the first one as some of my favorite scenes are included here, and they were perfect. I loved the summer court, Starfall, chapter 54 (it brought me to tears, which was unexpected) and the ending... god the ending! I didn't remember how much it hurt seeing everything happening.
On to the next one 🙂

OK, I've come to a few conclusions while reading this book and seeing some ACOTAR conversations online. Apparently, people like to say that the first book in this series is the "price" you need to pay for the rest of the series being so good. Um...excuse me? The first book wasn't as bad as everyone keeps saying it is. Granted I went into everything blind so I wasn't anticipating Rhys and his storyline. So maybe I did myself a favor is what I'm coming to realize. Also, WTF Tamlin! I understand now why the fandom doesn't claim him. He's awful. He's an immortal that's however-many years old who still acts like a child. Heck, I would reckon that that would be an insult to children everywhere. If I already didn't like him now I absolutely HATE him.
This second half of Book #2 had me on my toes! I ADORE Rhys. I love how he empowers and helps Feyre become someone who can protect herself and her family if needed. I love how he doesn't hold her back even when he would prefer to. I love how much he respects and trusts her as a full person with specific wants and needs. They're so cute together. The banter and sass are fantastic! The graphic audio edition really brought that to life! I also appreciate how powerful Feyre has become and how sure of herself she is. She's a good person but will become unhinged when her family and people are at risk and I love her for that.
The cliffhanger was just evil. I'm glad I had the next part/book ready to go and that I let a few books get fully released before starting this series. I'm dreading when I finish listening to all the releases and have to wait for the next books to get released. That's not going to be fun 😅
The graphic audio WAS INCREDIBLE. I've said this before and I'll say it again: EVERY AUDIO BOOK NEEDS TO BE A GRAPHIC AUDIO PRODUCTION!

One of my favourite books turned into the most incredible audiobook. This was amazing!
The voices they chose for Feyre and Rhysand were utter perfection. For all the rereads I'll have in the future, I will always imagine Rhy's voice this way *swoon*.
I'm not sure now if I can go back and listen to a normal audiobook or if this has set my expectations high. I never lost interest once and I'm definitely a fan of all the background noises now.

This will never not be a 5-star read to me.
I last read these books in 2020 and honestly I've had a book hangover and inner circle withdrawals since then. Can someone tell me how we are supposed to move on? Glad I waited 4years to reread though because my mind is like a sieve and it almost feels like reading them again for the first time. Almost.
Also, might be switching from Azzy's girl to Cassian? Because of the voice actor? This is so confusing to me.

It’s amazing if you need something to get you excited it’s this right here it feels like a TV series is being told to you from start to end the details gets better and better once it got to chapter 54 and 55 I knew this is definitely something we all have to listen to lol it’s good for a reread for sure

There is really nothing quite like experiencing your favorite book like this. Rhys’s voice actor is incredible and captured the range of emotions just perfectly. Chapter 54 broke me more than it did just reading on the page. I’m in pain while I wait for my next audible credit.

Look... it was an amazing production. HOWEVER...CHAPTER 55 WAS ✨TRAUMATISING. ✨
It was very detailed. Not only do we hear the full "experience" (0rg@sm$) there is also a weird sound that might be the table they did it on squeaking or perhaps their "thrusts?" I dunno it was weird.
