From the best-selling authors of the One-Block Wonders books. New techniques and design strategies using simple geometric shapes give you dramatic quilt imagery that seems to defy logic! Take the ordinary and turn it into something extraordinary with this book.
The samples shown in the book, particularly on the cover, would not have piqued my interest, but I saw a stunning version of this pattern at the Capitol Quilt Show in Denver in the summer of 2011. It's all in the color and value combinations.
The original one-block wonder kaleidoscope concept is awesome, but by this point (the third book) the author is just subsisting off her fame. The quilts in the book are just... ugly. There was not a single quilt I would make.
