The book explores rudrashka beads origin, the beginning chapter has a scientific approach whereby the genus and species of tree scatter across many regions is discussed. Other chapters explores the beads usages which varies according to the bead sides. The most common being 5 sided ones. The last chapter contains translation of puranas or scriptures which mentions rudrashka.

ತ್ರಿಶೂಲ, ಡಮರು, ಹಾವು , ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಕೂತೂಹಲಕಾರಿಯಾದದ್ದು , ಶಿವನಿಗೆ ಸಂಭಂದ ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದು ಏನೇ ಇದ್ದರೂ ಹೀಗೇ ಕೂತೂಹಲ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದೆ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದರಲ್ಲೂ ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೂತೂಹಲ ಜಾಸ್ತಿ ಅನ್ನಬಹುದು, ಗುಂಡಾದ ನುಣುಪಿನ ಮೇಲ್ಮೈಯ ನೀಲಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಕಾಯಿ ಒಣಗಿ ಗಾಢ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಒರಟಾದ ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗುವುದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಅಚ್ಚರಿಯ ಸಂಗತಿ.

ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರದ ವಸ್ತುವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೋಸದ ಜಾಲ ಹೇರಳವಾಗಿ ಹಬ್ಬಿದೆ , ನಕಲಿ ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳ ಅರಿವಿರದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ಮೋಸ ಖಂಡಿತ .
ರುದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮುನ್ನ , ಧರಿಸುವ ಮುನ್ನ ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದಿ , ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿ , ಓದಿ- ಓದಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿ .
