When courage came to call is about a country that gets taken over. I did not pertinently like it so i switched with Deltora quest The Shadow lands. The reason that i did not enjoy because the story was to slow and i did not click with the characters. For these reasons I am not going reading when Courage came to call.

I found it hard to believe that this is a first novel. The premise is interesting, the plot is tight, and the action relentless. It does lose momentum through the middle of the work, put pick ups again for a crazy-ass ending.
