Parallel Universes of Self

Rate this book
Springing from quantum physics, and featured in science fiction, the "Parallel Worlds Theory" is an earth-shattering revision of our understanding of reality. It says, simply, that everything that can happen does. Universes branch and branch in time, one for every alternate possibility. Far more than an intellectual exercise, the parallel universe principle can be applied in personal reality and everyday life. You can "create" your reality by becoming the parallel-world version of yourself for whom the experience you want is already real. This is your roadmap, your guidebook, to Parallel Universes of Self.

This was certainly a mountain to climb. Sometimes it a steep hike, sometimes a clear path, sometimes a thorny bushes, sometimes a confusing trail, and sometimes you can see the summit and it's a clear day, but man was it fun.

At times I wanted to say the ideas are far fetched, however, the more I got into it the more I learned to look at the perspectives from a different angle. I really really like how Dodson invites you to see yourself differently, with respect. There's no sales pitch.

This book is chalked full of exercises and meditations. So many it's hard to read quickly through this book (which is why it's taken me so bloody long to finish). Some may not apply to you at all and other may be a surprising fit. Try it out. There's some that I will continue to use cause they are so much fun, or helpful or whatever.

I'm giving this a 5/5 due to the massive amount of practical application. It's like opening a treasure chest or knowledge. If anyone reads this, let me know what you think. Mazeltov.

Side Note: There's loads of spelling and grammar errors which is a little surprising. Seems like ol' boy didn't have an editor look through this book. It threw me off a little at first, then I just got used to it, lol...and I started making corrections with my pen.

Quantom physics reveal a different "reality" at the atomic/sub-atomic level of being. Atomic nuclei are orbited by electrons, of course. But are these electrons "particles" or "waves"? You can't tell because the act of observing changes the state of the observed. How can an electron be everywhere and nowhere at once? How can it be two places at once? The parallel universe theory suggests there is around the atom a wave of possibilities. Within this wave are separate and distinct realities merging together and separating over and over. The electron is actually moving from universe to universe . . . . Hooked? Remember, all this applies to the state you and I believe is reality. What is true for the electron is true for the world we live in. I recommend this book if you want your mind to be blown to smitherines. If you're lucky, as was I, you'll get a flash, an actual if brief, vision of how things really are in this so-called world.

It's been awhile since I finished this, but reading (actually listening) to this tome was a rewarding experience. After reading this, I became a fan, gone on to read one of his other books, and arranged to have him do a weekend seminar near where I live. I find his particular flavor of self-help refreshing, down-to-earth and practical. Others, admittedly, may find his approach more "woo-woo" than some of his more conventional self-help brethren, and thus be turned off. But I'm kind of "woo-woo" myself so that wasn't a problem for me.

Dodson is kind of like an updated, 21st century version of Norman Vincent Peale, with a vast array of techniques aimed at helping the reader create the life he or she wants. My only nitpicky critique of this book is that it might have been better formatted as a workbook, as it is easy to skip over many of its useful exercises and activities and not do them, thereby defeating the author's intent. Because of its very density, the reader might want to start with one of his less-demanding books, such as Intuition Training or the Communications Course, both of which are excellent introductions to his work.

Quit after reading 22% of the book.

Another book about law of attraction and the rehashing of materials already said millions of times by many mystics and authors before. A lot these concepts are up for debate...just because authors keep repeating the same concepts does not make them True. Especially that these teachings are coming from nonhuman Entities...and how much can you trust these beings? and what is their agenda?

I felt like I'm reading Bashar's (Darryl Anka) material till I went to the end of the book and looked at the page of sources for research and realized Bashar's teachings were included in this book along with other books I am familiar with. So my gut feeling was right.

Nothing new here for advanced souls. For beginners, yes they can enjoy the book, although a lot of these teachings can be found on Youtube.

This is not a book to buzz through. I read only a few pages a day highlighting like crazy as I go. I am finding it enlightening....finally finished and started reading it again. There are many exercises and I didn't put a dent in them. I loved this book.

Well, I had this book for three years, everytime I read a few pages I stopped, only this year I decided to finish it, I would say the reason is this book is intensive, it actually made me wonder if it is Fred's only book and he decided to write everything he knew in it, but it isn't.

Reading this one, I experienced an immediate raise of energy. Although the title is about the parallel universes, and one would assume that it is only about moving from one universe to another or the law of attraction; it is actually about different subjects, it is versatile with an interesting addition of the author's own personal experience with the subjects he is presenting.

I have bookmarked almost half of the pages of this book, and I would definitely go back to it quite often and consider it a reference in many aspects. It doesn't contradict with my beliefs.

The book is about one's self image, breaking a habit, dreams, moving to a new universe, self healing, the other universes, the other dimensions, etc.

I give it a 4.5 and I highly recommend it if you are into energy medicine.

There are quite a few basic wee errors needing proofread/edited - but nothing to interrupt a good reading flow (opening quotation marks at the left bottom of the letter rather than the top left, too instead of to, breathe for breath, if instead of is, loose rather than lose, it when it should be at, bodies instead of body's, happen instead of happened, been instead of beam, it's for its, wales for whales etc)

One sentence that remained with me was 'a mirror (life) will not smile before you smile. Expecting circumstances to change before you change does not work.' and Dodson goes on to explain just how you can do that in great detail with some excellent analogies and solutions, I look forward to reading more by this author.

A great book for anyone who's interested in law of attraction! It's a must read if you read "The Secret" and other basic L.O.A. Books! It gives deeper details of how reality really works!

There are some really insightful passages in this book. That said, it is a bit fringe with references to extra-terrestrials and time travel.

i discovered this book through Nero Knowledge on youtube in his book recommendations video, and i am endlessly grateful.

this book serves as a great foundation for people new to the parallel universe/reality creation genre. at its core, i think it’s a book about non-dualism and the way it explores the concept is conversational. what i appreciate most is the way it flirts with the ‘spiritual psychosis’ of it all. the life as scenes in a movie and intention lists exercises are very popular methods in conscious creation but i love the way Frederick Dodson explores them.

my personal takeaway from this book is the idea that everything is self. even things that seem entirely separate from you are, in some way, you.

the book carries a liberating message that aligns seamlessly with the F. Scott Fitzgerald quote;
“For what it’s worth... it’s never too late, or in my case too early, to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit. Start whenever you want. You can change or stay the same. There are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you’ve never felt before. I hope you meet people who have a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of, and if you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start over again.”

This is a book in progress - a draft, contains several grammar errors, typos and a lack of attention to be considered a version with minimum quality requirements to be published.

Some passages were interesting, like the RC techniques, but much of the book seems like fictional stories with the author's appeal to make the reader believe in what was written as absolute truth, especially in the chapter: Personal experience in magic, it was unnecessary to bring “personal experiences” with the aim of trying to convince the reader, which in the end created the opposite effect.

It was difficult to swallow fantastic and contradictory stories, further demonstrating the lack of attention and structuring of the narrative that the author wanted to convey (or better yet, reinforce the persuasion).

TLDR: it is a very expensive book for an unfinished manuscript.

best book I’ve read on manifestation to date

Super enjoyed reading this book. It’s packed with mind opening ideas and thoughts on how reality really works and who and how we really are. My only ardent wish was that there weren’t so many typos. Perhaps most people won’t notice them; I can’t help but see typos everywhere. I almost have a mind to reach out to Dodson and offer my editing services free of charge. This said, the typos do not take away from Dodson’s work, for which I consider myself fortunate to have come across and read. Thank you.

Exciting book

The concept in this book is very exciting and it did fulfill its claim for me when it said that this book will turn your life to an exciting one. It finally puts an end to the mental struggle and chasing after this world and have it chase after you instead. Mood keeps on swinging but I was happy that this book accompanied me on my highs and received me on my lows.

Basic and Wrong

The author and this book is VERY basic and completely wrong. The author is like a child in kindergarten in comparison to Vadim Zeland. Read Transurfing Reality by Vadim Zeland. His concepts are REAL.
