Really liked it, despite its age. There are 41 articles, all about 4-5 pages in length, so easy to digest daily. Mix of theory and practice.

It's a methodology book--but it's not really. Don't expect the depth of a full-length book or research. But there's enough breadth and variety to bring anyone up to speed on methodology-related topics that are sequenced just right.

Discussion questions are quite good. Recommend taking the time to write journal entries on the Before Reading and After Reading, or at least take the time to ruminate on them.

• to provide a source of readings and activities that can be used in TESOL teacher-education programs, for both preservice and in-service courses
