-The book Villa Mirabella reminds me of the prodigal son story from the Bible but what really stuck with me was the description of Jason's LA girlfriend. -Rainwater was like nothing I expected from Sandra Brown but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a very sweet and sad story set in a time period that I love to read about even though it makes me angry. -The First Rule was more along the lines of what is normal for me to read and I adore Joe Pike. He is reminiscent of Jack Reacher only with a different set of past demons. -The Girl Who Chased the Moon was a sweet, magical story with a good moral lesson. Love with your eyes and your heart wide open.
These books are pretty AWESOME. I particulary like "Rainwater" and "The Girl Who Chased The Moon." "Rainwater" is so...sad and about how life is always unfair and all of that stuff, but in a more sophisticated way. The words just pick a person up and flow though the words. Then, the journey is over and you land with a thump. With "The Girl Who Chased The Moon," it seems like a regular town with its normal problems, yet there is a small touch of magic in that book. I would read these books all over again! ☺☺☺
