The Changeways Core Program is the most widely used group treatment program for depression in Canada. Originally developed for people with particularly severe depression who had been hospitalized, the program has since been used at inpatient and outpatient facilities across Canada, and in Hong Kong, Australia, the United States, and Great Britain. Now this clear, concise, and evidence-based program is available to the general public. Accompanying the complete program manual is a set of 8 talks narrated by Dr Randy Paterson, the program's senior author (approximately 8 hours of content on a single MP3 format CD). The talks provide the insights, examples, and stories that you would hear if you were a participant in one of Dr Paterson's groups. They complement and expand on the written material in the manual. Readers working through the manual are recommended to listen to one talk each week for 8 weeks, carrying out the exercises and strategies in the manual as they go.
