Gayle M. Irwin is a writer, author and speaker with a strong background in animal welfare. Her credentials include work as a journalist and conservation and humane educator. She is the author of several inspirational pet books for children, a clean, contemporary romance which weaves pet rescue and adoption into the story, and three Christian devotion books about the lessons people can learn from dogs. Mrs. Irwin is also a freelance writer, contributing stories to magazines and newspapers. She has also created educational activity books, website and other written content for the Upper Missouri River Breaks National Interpretive Center in Montana. She worked for five years at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper, Wyo., where she served as volunteer and education coordinator, recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers and creating a variety of print and website content for the newly-established facility. She has received several awards for her creative work.
