Microwave Synthesis of some 3-d Transition Metal Complexes: Microwave Assisted Synthesis, Structural Analysis and Antimicrobial Activities of some 3-d Transition Metal Complexes
Some Schiff base metal complexes of Cr(III), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) have been synthesized by conventional as well as microwave methods. These compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, FAB-mass, molar conductance, electronic spectra, 1H-NMR, ESR, magnetic susceptibility and thermal analysis. The applications of microwave irradiation are used for carrying out chemical transformations, which are pollution free and eco-friendly. The basis of this technique of synthesis is much faster with higher yields compared to conventional synthesis.
