Excellent point about how the books take place over a shorted period of time. So very true. The same thing occurred to me with a series I writing. I have several books planned out and will likely take quite a bit of time to get them out, but they will all be taking place fairly close in terms of 'book time'. I also find them enjoy diversions. I think of them as 'literary sitcoms' you know what to expect, you may not be surprised by anything, but still fun to watch/read.
