Dhfan4life Yea, they changed so much. I don't want to spoil too much for you if you do see season 2. But dude they really twisted so much around there. I don't know if they will have the other supernatural types coming in or not. But if they do, I can only imagine how in the world that would play out. Cause to me it did seem like they had the witches combined with the clairvoyant types. As things happened for sure Savannah should not exist AT ALL. I also hated what they did with Eve. I love her character and yet she was denounced to a half a second mention. And you are right without a council I don't think the story can really grow. Unless the pack bumps into or has someone else mess with their minds out in the woods or bodies show up on their property again. But I really hate that approach. Cause then that just makes the pack look cursed than branching out to help others.

Jocelyn I get the feeling the show will likely focus mostly on the werewolves so maybe they really will stick to just the two witches and werewolves. :( Or more disappointing, they're just going to drop the witches in season 3 to bring in the next super naturals. I assume their focus is on werewolves because of the title of the show, Bitten.
I wish this show had incorporated the first two books in the first season and thus bringing in different species within the same season. I feel like by naming the show Bitten and focusing season one only on werewolves, they've sort of trapped themselves and fans of the show won't want new characters taking over as lead.

Dhfan4life Very good points Jocelyn. Probably would have sort of been best if they were to make changes. Started out with the Council aspects right off in the first season. Sure give us Elena's back story. But slip in some mystery about where Jeremy is sneaking off to at times. And the pack wonders about it. And that is when he brings Elena into things and meeting the other supernaturals or something. But yea, as it stands and as I was saying earlier, it just being focused on the small town weres and folks popping out of the woods or dropping bodies on their property, it is going to make the pack look cursed, ungracious to be helping others after a while, and well yea trapped is the right word too. Can only go so far really.
