I was thinking that too, Lori. I finally settled on her as "savior". Had originally thought of her as a Moses type figure...leading the imprisoned people to freedom. Problem with that is that Moses never made it to the promised land, so it kinda works, but doesn't.
I finished Wool recently. I was impressed with it. For me it was about control of society for its own benefit. Things are fine until you start to rock the boat. Fascinating topic.
