This is the team to be on. Team Neither is team Addie.
Henry and Addie only work because Henry remembers her and it feels good for Henry to be needed by Addie. He wouldn't have been able to bear the weight of Addie's lifetimes.
Luc isn't human. You can't forget that. He's incapable of being a match for Addie because he has entirely different needs. He likes her for the amusement of company which she knows he'll tire of because of who he is.
Addie will never meet her match unless she herself when freed from Luc reaches some god status. Then maybe she could be a match for Luc or maybe she'll meet some other Luc who hasn't been so toxic toward her.
