I think the point of Miles AND Cam is that, Luce has choice to pick from varieties of boys, but she still chooses Daniel. I believe that's how the curse is broken...by making choice *gasp* all by herself. Anyway I am team Daniel, so I think it would be fitting punishment for Cam if annoying Luce ended up with him :D
I thought Miles position there was a (somewhat) human lover of Luce. Because there was a point where Luce was questioning her relationship with Daniel and she thought of just being in a normal relationship with a mortal/human.
And then Miles came into the picture and I think he's a suitable candidate for a pseudo-human lover of Luce. So, if Luce decides to just drop all these angelic blah and lean towards "normal" stuff, she would have Miles as an option :)
