Alessandro I quote you word by word, actually I have the feeling you're slightly telephatic..

johnnyMorocco guess you two guys are more like tony robbins intellectual geniuses.

message 3: by Dr. Phoenix (new)

Dr. Phoenix Johnny, well said. You underscored the obvious here. Some people are better at criticism than critical thinking and creativity.

message 4: by Kiki (new)

Kiki Being short was it's one redeeming feature. Johnny, why shouldn't we critise? By claiming that the book was not to our taste, we are not placing our selves above the author, nor are we giving any insight into how skilled we are at critical thinking or how creative we may happen to be. We are simply expressing our distaste for this novel. Instead of insulting those who did not like the book, you should instead prove us/them wrong and explain why it was good. Attack the argument or statement, not the person argueing/stating.

Gabrielle D It is on my awful books list as well.

Kalika Kalika Stop! You're killing me! You do know people can die from laughter, right?

message 7: by Vickie (new)

Vickie I think the book could have been summed up ON a bumper sticker. Thank you for you comment Mona!

message 8: by Lupi (new)

Lupi I have to agree with you on this. I listened to the audiobook, since it was popular. I don't regret listening to it; however, I didn't get anything out of it...just that be more observant, your treasure might be right in front of you...

message 9: by Dianne (new)

Dianne Mck. Lupi: I felt exactly the same way you do. It just didn't do anything for me but I'm not sorry I read it.

message 10: by Susan (new)
