It is. Though the problem is that nobody really knows how he died. It sounded like he didn't receive any battle wounds. I think StarClan killed him since he fulfilled the prophecy.
No, he died because lightning struck the beech tree... StarClan doesn't have the power to kill cats. That's what they said in one of the books.
Oh yeah.... Gah, so many books, it's hard to remember little details like that.
