Kinda blunt Moor... but okay.. ;P
This was dumb so when she spared the phyco's life then all the other people would blame her for the death and then she would kill herself. Honestly they should have thought what would happened after she died. I was hoping for a more better ending. :(
You are wrong. It was actually her “fault", up to that day. She had been allowing that horrible behaviour all her life...not even mentioning how shallow we realise she was by all her aspects that needed change. She also didn't even understand this until that night she died and started waking up again & again. I feel we get tipped off and sympathise with her “New self” but that new self is not even her, Its the time clause incapsulated Her. That’s the sad true. Then, on my personal opinion, all the struggle she had to go through was in order to be accepted on a heaven, a better place or, w/e. Because (at least in the movie) we see a non-illed Sam saying thank you at the accident scene to an apparently ill Sam. I guess her friends did not get a chance for redemption….or did they?
ok but dont you think. that if sam died juliet wouldve still killed herself anyways cause people are gonna blame her for sams death:-/
Julianne Aranjuez she had to die so that she didnt have to keep repeating the day over and over again and the meaning of juliet is "put others before yourself
i just feel like it was so sad mainly because it's not a resolution of any sort, except for Sam's personal atonement; a review brought up how her atonement was pretty selfish, as every single character she interacted with would be negatively impacted in some way. The only way that her actions help her is that everyone in her life would remember her as a hero of sorts, but they would each feel their own guilt. Seriously, what kind of things would Kent have to do to bounce back from that?!?! Someone he's liked forever suddenly kisses him and dies?? He probably feels guilty and that's the most heartbreaking thing ever, along with the fact that although Juliet's still alive, it doesn't fix ANYTHING for her other than giving her more life to live (which is great like i'm not saying that living isn't worth it); she still has all the same problems, and lindsay is definitely going to blame juliet for sam's death! how could she not? and kent is probably going to too... juliet will carry survivor's guilt forever. in honestly, I don't see how juliet could feel any better after someone dies for her; she would feel even more despair, and most likely try to commit suicide again (although i hope with all my heart that she doesn't). her sister and her family would fall apart, and although i do think that they are strong enough to piece themselves together and carry on as a family, it just doesn't make sense because they would also probably blame juliet. the one thing is, i do think that there was no other choice but for her to die; the point is that she was given a miracle, and that miracle was to have a choice in how she died-- helping other and trying to correct her mistakes, or in a tragic and meaningless way that most people would probably feel she deserved. additionally, i like to think that this inspires her friends, and all the people that knew her, to reform... since she touched all of their lives on her last day in some way, they would feel a personal connection and hopefully feel responsibility for their actions.
