Totally agree!
I absolutely agree! I received this gem for my 15th birthday and devoured it. It's one of my favorites and I've read it two or three more times over the years. I agree though that it wouldn't necessarily be in my top five. Only because of the Dark Tower series and The Talisman though. :) Oh gosh and Desperation. Ha ha.
I agree. Slow but deliberate. You realize half way thru the story he has been telling you a story you didnt realize he was telling....excellent book!
It is a beautiful book, and my personal favorite book of all time. It starts slowly and then soars, and each time I read it (at least five times) I get completely choked up at the end even though I know what's coming. Without a doubt Stephen King's best and most emotional work.
