Carole The thing I noticed with Soren and Kingsley is that Soren can truly be himself. He wouldn't have to give up being a priest. Isn't it amazing how possesed Kingsley's sister is considering they never consummated their vows. Even when Soren married her, Kingsley was heartbroken and jealous, and this was before Nora. Where was the sister for all those years? The other thing is Soren's first experience was with his sister, so he has a different view of female relationships with him. When he was with his sister, he never had that violent tendencies. Also Soren did say to Kingsley that what drew him is that Kingsley isn't afraid of him. Only Kingsley has seen the true Soren and the depths of his rage. Remember the last evening they spent together while Nora was with Wes. He nearly died.

Laura The Soren/Kingsley relationship has such a magnitude of depth to it. Soren's view of relationships is definitely skewed. I wonder what type of relations Soren had with his sister. She mentions that (and I can't remember the exact word she used) but said that Soren's skills in the bedroom even then were worth noting. There is something fundamentally tweaked with Soren. I know he has those sadistic tendencies from his father but he is not cruel like his father.

Kingsley's sister is frightening. Like he said about her it is unhealthy to care about people that much. I will be interested to find out what her deal is in the next installment.

You are right; there is something different in the connection that Soren has with Kingsley as opposed to Nora. Kingsley knows he holds back with her.

I honesty am waiting (im)patiently for the next in the series.

Carole I also have to wonder with the title the mistress, that is obviously Nora. Whether it means she goes back
to the 8th circle, or Soren, I don't know as the next book is called the priest.
I really have to hand it to Tiffany, as she is an excellent writer and storyteller. She knows how to do plot twits and character development. I am so curious about the rest of the series.

Laura She really does have a way to suck you in and bring about some unexpected twists. She leaves out just the right amount of information to leave you reeling. I don't say this lightly, but I have been floored by this series. Most books of this genre I come away feeling it was all about the sex, but this is so much more than that. Very plot driven!

Carole I agree with you. She uses the sex for a purpose to enhance the story and develope the characters. There have been some books that there is so much sex without the story that it just gets pointless. The other thing I like is her writing. There is such a difference between her and the other popular books 50 shades. Once you read Tiffany, there isn't any going back

Laura Exactly :) I've come to expect more out of my books again and the fault lies with Reisz!! ;)

Carole Don't forget Nora got pregnant with Kingsley's child by mistake. I also agree with your assesment of the relationship and name giving to Kingsley first. I also have to wonder what happened to Soren in the Jesuit school? I think this will be revealed. The other thing I find interesting is that Tiffany makes the relationships complicated, in other words it isn't just one person for each other relationships. I think she opens your eyes to seeing how Kingsley, Soren and Nora relationship works together to complete a person. She is not painting the characters one dimensional, but showing how the sum of events does make up the person. I am wondering if he took the name Soren after Soren Kierkegaard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%B8r...

Sönïa Dhillion bI understand what carol and Laura are saying I agree with you and yes it has taken me a while since I had to re-read prince again . Carol your right together they do make a whole and I know kingly jealously is obvious to us audience and soran but I have also noticed he will show his jealously to everyone glimpse of it anyway but in front of NOra or to her face . He behaves like she is a part of him I know this might sound weird but U know how a sister and brothers mischief relationship is that's how kingly n NOra relationship come across as . HD trusts , he's protective of her , he teases her constantly but never has he made her feel like he dislikes her its as if he's made himself believe that he hates her where the truth is he doesn't . I could be wrong but that's what I think I mean whenever I thinks something is wrong ( getting pregnant or getting frustrated with the book ) he informed soran why ? I mean wouldn't a person who hates another take pleasure from there pain rather than finding ways of getting rid of the pain . Plus when NOra left soran why did kingly trained her to be a Dom n helped her with resources to start writing ? He could have helped her in a way where she would be away from his club n soran he blames soran but he was the one that kept her .if they sort out this kingly sister then I want to know how this works now that I have opened my eyes to kingly I like him now so I want to see them 3 together but then what would happen to kingly girlfriend ? and if there relationship does works out then I would like if Wes finds someone else that get the guy out of his misery . Because he can't be as open minded as soran is with Nora. In siren Nora compared her relationship to Zack n grace marriage it broke my heart but in a way they are like in a open marriage relationship. But Wes can't o that I mean he thinks Nora lies he establishment control , status etc e thinks that because soran the king of kingly club . But that's not truce and I don't think Wes could ever understand that so if soran n kingly imagination could become reality into Nora then why can't Wes find some one else ?
